OH one other thing about our country life situation that I forgot to mention… we don’t have cell service where we are! We do have wifi though so that helps out for FaceTimes and WhatsApps back home. I really haven’t found it to be much of a problem unless I want to call a local shop which in that case I just wait until we go to town (where we have coverage) to call.
check your phone and provider, some do a 'voice over wifi' option where having wifi will ensure calls and texts go through like normal. I use it a lot when I am at my friends place who are really really rural and barely get normal phone reception let alone cell reception
I resonate SO MUCH with your response to the “bored” comment. I feel bored being in a city. If I want to do anything fun/entertaining it costs money. Or to “get out of the house” I feel the need to go to a coffee shop or clothing store for entertainment. That’s boring! And not in the budget 😆 Thank you for these videos. So inspiring! Having a goal every day to work on my home and help the land is the dream. Which I can justify spending my money on ha!
As someone close to retirement, living in a city apartment, craving nature and especially silence, you've given me a lot to think about Carrie. Thank you
Hello Friend 👋 How are you doing 😌 I hope this year brings happiness, joy , and peace all over the world, I’m from Seattle Washington and you where are you form if I may ask? I’ve been living in Seattle Washington for 30years now?
I love this! And I too have always felt drawn to country living. When visiting the country I always felt the most at peace and I really want to live this life, and I want to live simply. Your homestead and land is beautiful.
So well said. I am from Los Angeles and when a fire burnt down our house, we moved to the forest, near Ave of the Giants. I always wanted to be self sufficient, because as a single mom, with autistic twins, we had to struggle to survive. Miracle Run is a movie made about our life. So we bought 13 acres of land and I am growing many veggies, have an endless supply of water, and though we have electricity, in a moments notice I can live the same way as without it.
I almost cried listening to you and watching this video, because I feel this connection to nature for years as well. I'm a city girl, 30 years in a capital European city and i cannot wait to live close with nature one day 🌿💚
As a grad student just chugging along in uni, your videos give me so much inspiration. Inspired by you and Alex, I bought a State parks pass this year and am trying my best to surround myself in nature whenever I can while finishing up my degree. Going on a road trip to three parks this week!! Thinking of yall and wishing you all the best!
Hello 👋 I hope you’re safe over there? I hope this years brings happiness, love 💕 and prosperity all over the world 🌎🕊🕊 I’m Gillard from Louisville Kentucky, and you where are you from if I may ask?
Morena Carrie, nice to see you guys are happy settling in in your new surroundings. And thank you for the kind words about our little country and our people at the start of this video
I just made a similar move with my husband - moved from San Francisco to upstate NY along the Hudson River & I couldn't agree more or feel more aligned with this video! It's so cool to watch your journey... it feels like it's mirroring my own!
I just moved from Phuket, Thailand to live my fiance and all I can say is it's so beautiful here in upstate newyork. We live in Cambridge. Where around are you settled?
Me four! My husband and I (plus our two dogs) also exchanged our city home near Boston to a sweet little homestead in Midcoast Maine. I totally agree that living in nature has been so much more fulfilling. It's been absolutely wonderful watching Carrie and Alex's journey and so excited for them to experience their first growing season in their beautiful homestead!
My husband and I are so blessed to have left the rural tiny house isolation and limitations. We have found what works for us and focusing on God. We are so grateful to have left the rural countryside and its stresses behind and the Lord has blessed us to do so.
Carrie, I’ve felt so connected to your content as of lately because my husband and I have made a similar move - not across the world, but across the country. Rural life in comparison to city life is SO different and I’ve loved watching you come into your own through this process. My family were also farmers and gardeners many generations back; I think there’s definitely a reason why we feel so connected to the land in this way! Love watching you, Alex, and your sweet pets 🐕 🐑 🦆 ❤️
I am increasingly enjoying and being so drawn to your content, Carrie.. Each video where you share more of your journey and the absolute beauty that is New Zealand is inspirational and breathtaking! This was the perfect piece of the very beauty that I needed to start the new week and my birthday!! 🙌🏼💛
That last scene of Lanka basking in the sun and taking in his surroundings with Woolson next to him says it all! 💗💗💗 Your passion is contagious Carrie! I also am from LA but have Always loved nature so so much. It is so true~ we are part of nature. You are inspiring me so much through sharing this life in tandem with nature that you are creating! 😍 Thank you for sharing your journey!
Huge learnings for sure! Nothing will teach you to be sustainable faster than having to deal with your own trash, live off a fixed water supply, and make do with what's available instead of buying cheap conveniences. Congrats!
Hey Carrie, I'm an older Kiwi guy who you and Alex continue to inspire. This video, to me, was one of your best. From. Your. Heart.💕. If you doubt the impact you have then read the comments that show how valued you are.👍🏻 Thank you for being you.
God bless you both,,, more time to live your life and be in the moment. The surroundings are sooo spectacular and yes we are awesome people in NZ. Nga mihi.
I really like the country life. There is nothing better than running through my woods and walking around my garden feeling the freedom of having my own space. Thanks Carrie!
Thanks for sharing your story Carrie and giving us a glimpse as to why you chose to live in New Zealand! Your reasons are so heartwarming knowing how you want to help make the planet a better place. Thank you for your videos and for being an inspiration! I really enjoy watching you learning to be a homesteader!
Hello 👋 I hope you’re safe over there? I hope this years brings happiness, love 💕 and prosperity all over the world 🌎🕊🕊 I’m Gillard from Louisville Kentucky, and you where are you from if I may ask?
I stumbled upon this video…love it and at 56, have a strong desire to live the remainder of my years closer to nature and being able to grow my own garden… being from BK, NYC… I never imagined my mentality would shift yet I’m happy it has…resonate with your views. Enjoy!!!
I am SO excited for you. Your light is shining through so bright when you talk about creating this beautiful life. Thank you for taking us on your journey, Carrie 💚
I started looking into the research when I noticed that I was getting agitated from noise and overstimulation (live in a city, in a very noisy area). I can practically feel my blood pressure drop when I leave the city. I may be more sensitive than others, but it makes sense that it affects us all on some level. We're part of nature, as you say. Viewing nature as something separate from us--a resource to simply be used up--has led to our current environmental crisis. The life you and Alex are building for yourselves is an inspiration, and it's fun to watch you take it on.
Hi Carrie, I’m a rural living kiwi and what you said in this video resonates with me. I couldn’t think of a better place to be than in the country with nature at my backdoor. I’ve enjoyed watching your journey thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts. Do you preserve what you grow for winter months and if so it would be great to hear some tips from you on this as I’ve started drying and preserving extra food for the winter months.
I am new to your videos ( in the last few months) I am loving your life on the land. I get so much joy watching the homestead changes and how nature is rewarding your nurturing vibes with the animals now choosing to stay with you. ( yep, I think the Duckie has decided he wants to be In your light!) . Loving Wilson and the new Duckie. I can’t wait for the next videos!
I live in a rural township....so still in the subarb but surround by farms in South Auckland. I really relate to your story. We own our own home, but the end goal is to have more land. I grew up on a lifestyle block, with lamsb and chickens and cows and I miss it.
Thanks Carrie, I really liked your video! It had a lot of deep thoughts that we don't really talk about... or definitely people in the city don't. I grew up on an acreage and am thinking of moving my family out of the city. It was good to hear how you and Alex made the transition :)
So proud of you Carrie and Alex. You’ve built something so nourishing for you two as well as given us the opportunity to experience it through video. If even seeing and hearing through your videos it makes my day completely more relaxed. Woolson is so stinking cute and lanka is completely in bliss with the life you’ve provided for him.
My husband and I are going from apartment living in the city to renting a house rurally and my brother in law said “why would you live rurally? There’s nothing to do!” We just laughed and said “compared to our tiny apartment, there’s more to do now then there ever has been!” I deeply relate to this video and feeling trapped in the city. I am so glad that there are people that feel the way we do about rural life. Thanks for sharing your journey :)
Carrie, I love these videos!! They really make me feel calm and relaxed when watching. I'm full time working plus working on my graduate diploma and I like to use your videos as study breaks. I don't know if I could live your lifestyle but I love living vicariously through you! Don't stop vlogging, esp the nature shots!
We moved to NZ 14 years ago, but had to make compromises in terms of location. We are now getting ready to follow in your footsteps and head on out of town!
Love your passion 💜 I have been homesteading for 10 years now on 10 acres and it is so fulfilling and rewarding, but also the hardest job I have every had!! The lists are long , the pocket book thin, but the joy is real and the sense of accomplishment at the end of the day is real. I hope you keep inspiring humans to come back to a simple 🌱life. 🌷
Having just returned from 10 weeks staying in the middle of Auckland, I totally agree that rural living is so much better for my mental and physical health. The constant stress headaches I had whilst up there have totally disappeared. And I don’t miss being woken up at 4am by helicopters overhead!
This is my dream living closer to nature .. husband and I made a move to a home with more land in the city for same reasons trying to feel closer to nature .. hope one day live somewhere outside the city
Such a lovely video, I know I’m meant to live in the countryside amongst nature and animals. Just not at a point in my life where I can at the moment, so I make the most of the opportunities I have to immerse myself in nature. Taking the dog for walks to new places, having picnics in reserves, weekends away in national parks. And most recently getting a plot at a community garden, which has been immensely rewarding so far. Thank you for continuing to inspire me and so many others ❤️
I’ve been doing this workout for two weeks without weights, then I finally added 2 pound weights since I’m just now starting to get into weight training, and omg.. I got through the whole video without dropping the weights!! I can feel myself getting stronger😄😄so exciting
A lot of people now prefer living in rural than in cities. It is less stressful in rural. We will surely share this video with our customers for them to get awesome ideas from you. Thanks for this video! 😊
Gosh you would never get bored, there is so much to do around your slice of heaven, it's wonderful having your own home, your space, your freedom to do whatever you want "Silence is Golden" just you Alex, Lanka, WoolSon and all the other wildlife is just sooo relaxing 😌
what i found intersting about your property is you are on rainwater collection for your water i heard about it but didnt realise some propertys are still on that system as our semi rural property has our own well water with a pump do you guys have a septic tank we have one and today we got ours cleaned out as we dont know when it was last done im still getting use to everything that comes with rural property but like you i am loving the open spaces the bird life and quiet area we are about 7 mins from town here thanks for sharing loving yours and Alex videos and homestead journey :)
I am so grateful to have found your videos before you started this journey. I feel so comforted that there is someone out there who feels the way I do. I have given up forcing myself into a fancy career that I don’t want, I’ve given up forcing myself to feel like I have to enjoy things I don’t. I’m starting to grow my own cut flower business, I may even move back to Australia where I’m from because I feel so called to go home and have been fighting that feeling. Thank you I hope you know how much positivity comes from sharing your life with us!
I hope you go home. I think NOW is the time to settle amongst chosen friends and family nestle and be as self sufficient as possible. Please consider this.
Hi Carrie, have been loving watching your journey. I live in semi-rural NZ on a half acre (on town water supply, and rubbish collection, but in farmland, not town). It was my dream to put my feet in the earth and watch the grass (and herbs and veges) grow up around me. This dream finally came to us last year only a couple of weeks before lockdown hit NZ. We've had snow, drought, winds, floods and I still couldn't be anywhere else in the world and be any happier than I feel right now. Wishing you both a very Meri Kirihimete and a safe, fun and fulfilling New Year.
I absolutely adore this. I can remember even as a kid I would always say “I just want to go home” even when I was “home”…but home is where you truly feel at peace and comfort. The disconnect and rat race that our USA society has become has caused so many mental health issues and I can see it’s affect even on young children. I’ve been so drawn to New Zealand for its amazing nature and it’s kinder society. (I can’t tell you how many time living in NY I have people say to me “you’re too nice”. Wouldn’t it be nice to live somewhere where I was a norm not an anomaly.) I know the housing prices are crazy but is the overall expenses more there? Do you find it easier to live there in general?
Hi Carie , I like you and your husband attitude. Your life story is encouraging. You are doing al lot of new things ,it looks like it extends your live. Well done. Like to see your pets, they make me happy. I look forward to the future. One day each one will live the way you live . Good luck with your approach on many things.
I feel you completely! I'm also constantly looking for a way out of the city. Hopefully, with more and more people working remotely, we will be able to return to the villages and smaller towns.
I would never get bored of living out in nature it just has way more to offer than the city in my opinion and if you're busy you will never be bored. thank you for the video
Thank you so much for this video 😊 This really resonated with me because I also have that same yearning for the country side, and having been stuck in Auckland city for the past however long now has been really challenging. I am living for your videos every week because they are a moment of calm in this crazy world ❤️
Carrie I know where you're coming from. I was born and brought up in London, UK.. I always loved being in the country as a child, and many years later after a divorce, I moved up country with my daughter. She married and then we all moved to a farm in Scotland. I love your videos. We're the same, very remote, and I love it. Could never go back to city life!
Carrie, you are an inspiration! Thank you for showing us how amazing life can become just outside of our comfort zone. You are changing lives without even realizing it. ❤️
Oh man, I so fully resonate with everything about this video. As a long time subscriber it feels like you've really come into your authentic self over the last year or so, which is so beautiful to witness. It's super contagious and inspiring.
Hello 👋 I hope you’re safe over there? I hope this years brings happiness, love 💕 and prosperity all over the world 🌎🕊🕊 I’m Gillard from Louisville Kentucky, and you where are you from if I may ask?
I'm just now getting back into your channel because I have been loving how you have chosen to live your life and live with a broader connection to the land. It makes my Indigenous heart happy. I'd love a video of the actual switch to SOLAR power when you and your husband get the funds and can do it. I just got a tiny house on the land in which i grew up and we're connecting electricity now but eventually though, when I have the funds as well, I want to make that switch to solar. Love the rural living videos! Been binging and catching up on all that I missed!
Love love what you said about living in the country vs the city. It’s so true (for me as well) feeling trapped in cities and even small towns. There is nothing really to do there and it’s just not desirable. Freedom is found in the country side. I completely agree with what you said. Keep it up girl! Love your videos💗
My Gosh Carrie... I hate you guys... I am really jealous of you guys... I always wanted to live in a place like that with greenery all around me with some animals running around... gosh you made me remember my grandpa and granny's house which was like that and I used to go there every year in summer and winter holidays... go out on trekking, sleep under the sky at night, steal some mangoes from my neighbour's tree... gosh miss those days :(
Listening to you talking about your new living situation and habits just always get me so excited about life. It’s so wonderful to see that you and Alex are happy together and enjoying life. Love, Jonas♥️
When I was young, my grandfather had the biggest vegetable garden in his backyard (it always seems much bigger when you're little!). Similar type urban bungalow as your LA home. I live in a condo now about 10 minutes from where he used to live. Suburban neighboorhood but with a noisy fire station around the block. He also had his own farmland far outside of the city which had always inspired me. It's definitely been a dream of mine to grow a vegetable garden and live in the quiet countryside as well. Anyways, love watching your journey Carrie and happy for all that you've both experienced in the past year!
So happy to find your channel. I'm in a motel room right now, having just toured a home I'm considering moving to, in a town on an island with a population of less than 300. I currently live in a metro area with more than 2 million people. 😳 I'm terrified to make the move, but I can't put into words the feeling I got when I saw this house online earlier in the week. I just had to come and see it. I haven't been able to sleep. I'm heart sick over this house and the lifestyle it represents. It's the physical manifestation of what I've been dreaming about for years. Anyways, excited to browse through your channel. Thank you 😊
I am born and raised in LA and Ive recently said I dont think I was meant to be born in the city. When I was young I could not understand how anyone can move away but now I just have the yearning to move somewhere rural. My husband and I love visiting national parks and Im always at peace when Im among nature and just so happy when Im away. I just feel like we need to move away but the same time my husband and I are afraid to leave our families behind which is probably the only reason we have not moved. Your videos have brought me a lot of peace :) your land is beautiful and its exciting seeing your journey
Following your journey to New Zealand has been so inspiring and your videos are always so refreshing to me. I loved hearing your heart behind your new lifestyle. I would be so interested to hear you talk on what it has been like to move so far from family and what your relationship is like with family back in the states! My husband and I are from Georgia and moved to the central coast of California when we got married 6 years ago. We now have an 8 month old daughter and absolutely love the life we have created, but I still struggle with missing family and feeling guilty for being so far from them. Just would love to hear your thoughts on building your dream life when it takes you so far from friends and family! XX
I did something out of my comfort zone today, I cleaned my house gutters out of leaf debris and moss. It was a challenge to climb up the long ladder but I survived. I am 75 too! lol 😁
Really enjoyed this video. I remember being like you, living with my (now ex) husband on some land having grown up a city girl, and it was never boring, always so much happening. Unfortunately my life ended up like a game of Snakes and Ladders and I hit the big snake to the bottom but you inspire me to visualise that I can get back there with my son. Thanks Carrie, I will allow myself to dare to dream again. X
Oh I love this so much ! You took all the words out my mouth ! We’re making the move trying to find where we want to spend the rest of our lives . But the calling I can’t not listen . I need nature 🥰
Great. You actually used to live down the street from me - ha ha. I know what you mean. I moved to Western Austria (my husband is from here) and it's been a big shift too but I'm still rather suburban. I would love to go completely rural. I really love your videos. They are a complete mental break for me. I do travel quite a bit back and forth to see family back home but it's always a huge shock for me when I go back. I love the conveniences but I don't see myself ever living like that again. Thanks for all your videos. I really do enjoy them so much. xoxo
SUCH an inspiration always, you radiant angel 🥰🌷 Your passion for this lifestyle is electric. I can feel your intentions to heal others & this planet so deeply. Thank you for this expanding video- showing others what is possible when we get back in touch with nature. Teaching others the powerful lessons you’re learning from this bold move. A true manifestation & living in tune with the power of the universe… this is what can happen when you dedicate yourself to a dream and surrender 🥲 it’s fun to reflect on tour videos of the YEARS of prep and work it took to get here… I laughed so much watching Alex’s new video with him going underground to dig up bones & dirt hahaha. It feels like a physical representation of you both being so willing to do the work to the fullest extent. So many people see the lamb, birds chirping and green grass but it’s honestly sooooo inspiring that you have a story back to the beginning of HOW you guys created this. All the frustrations, heartbreaks, sacrifices…. You shared it all and I feel it. It makes my heart melt when I see you guys enjoying your home because I can feel into the depths of the emotions & how much it actually means to you. I love what you said about your family being farmers… some of mine were too! I feel the longing for nature so much but I imagine a mini beach farm of some sort in my future 🤩 thank you for your light & radiance. Seeing you both live out your dreams is so brave & so unique in this world. I hope you know your impact. You brighten my darkest days & fill my heart with light 🌞
Its funny , this is how I grew up in the south and now I love in NYC, although I’m about to turn 30 and I’m feeling this desire to move back to my roots. Love seeing your video I’ve been watching since even before Alex and I love seeing you and other woman grow into more of us .
it doesnt matter how somebody is or how experienced they are at something....."you can never stop learning". As you know your having to figuren things out for yourself...can be hard sometimes but mentally so rewarding......by the way so green where you are...looks like heaven...rolling green hills...a pond..ducks...and a lamb and a dog just chilling on the deck hahaha only in NZ Lol
I look forward to your videos as well as Alex and I am never disappointed. It’s such a relaxing way to begin the day, the week. Such beautiful content every time. I could never get bored of the silence as well especially in the environment that you’re living in. That is true bliss ☺️🌸🕊
Rural, as in Rural Delivery or RD. Do you have an RD route number? I remember as a child, being so jealous of those kids whose home addresses included RD2 or RD4. I used to want one as well. But I just had a plain old boring street address. You have some gorgeous views in this video!!! And I just have to mention that last scene of Lanka and Woolsen on the patio. That is just so Adorable. As to peace and quiet, while I currently do live in the downtown area of a large metropolis, I get my peace and quiet (aka "me time") when I am here at my desk, and my family are sleeping. I am definitely not in any hurry to restart the old stressful life. I want us all to take things slow and maybe stop and smell the roses a lot more than we used to do.
Hi Carrie! I absolutely love your videos💜 They always make me smile or laugh, Alex’s videos too! Somewhere in a new video can you touch base on what to do if you don’t want to work in corporate but are staying because of stability. I just don’t know what else there really would be to do. Anyway many blessings!
Hi Carrie! What about emergency situations, do you have a way of calling for help?
check your phone and provider, some do a 'voice over wifi' option where having wifi will ensure calls and texts go through like normal. I use it a lot when I am at my friends place who are really really rural and barely get normal phone reception let alone cell reception
IPhone have a wife calling setting that might be helpful.
Yes that’s true
How are you doing Carrie ?
Oh really
How are you doing Jenny ?
I resonate SO MUCH with your response to the “bored” comment. I feel bored being in a city. If I want to do anything fun/entertaining it costs money. I think we should retire to the country and get back to our simple roots.

City life is stressful anyway.Fresh air and quiet , peaceful etc etc .Nothing can beat nature.
There’s nothing to do!” We just laughed and said “compared to our tiny apartment, there’s more to do now then there ever has been!”
I deeply relate to this video and feeling trapped in the city.
I've been really loving your homestead videos! A life like this has always been my dream
Looks wonderful,..nice and quite,..cute lamb..looks heavenly
Hi Carrie, nice video, thanks for sharing. I'm not exactly new to your channel, just haven't followed as much.
Well thanks for coming back and watching. 💕 Hope you stick around. 🥰
Carrie….you bring me such peace! Thank you for the beautiful videos! I’ve been watching for years 💕
Love your passion 💜 I have been homesteading for 10 years now on 10 acres and it is so fulfilling and rewarding, but also the hardest job I have every had!! The lists are long , the pocket book thin, but the joy is real and the sense of accomplishment at the end of the day is real. I hope you keep inspiring humans to come back to a simple 🌱life. 🌷
Girl, me too! Soooo same. American gal who just moved with her Australian husband to very rural Tasmania. Love your channel! x
3:18 is my favorite clip
Glad you’re enjoying living in New Zealand and in the rural lifestyle of New Zealand!
You are living the dream! You didn't sound preachy at all, just happy.☺️
Ok, happy to hear that. 💕🌼
One day each one will live
the way you live . Good luck with your approach on many things.
I feel you completely! I'm also constantly looking for a way out of the city. Hopefully, with more and more people working remotely, we will be able to return to the villages and smaller towns.
I think it’s truly becoming more possible for people these days which is wonderful
same! And now that my husband and I both work remotely we're eyeing up spaces outside the city which is so so exciting. :)
I've just found my new favourite channel, thank you!
I would never get bored of living out in nature it just has way more to offer than the city in my opinion and if you're busy you will never be bored. thank you for the video
I've been loving these videos so much and it just makes me so excited to have a place like this to call my own one day. Nature is just pure bliss
Thank you so much for this video 😊 This really resonated with me because I also have that same yearning for the country side, and having been stuck in Auckland city for the past however long now has been really challenging. I am living for your videos every week because they are a moment of calm in this crazy world ❤️
I think I just found my new favorite channel !!! Love this
Carrie I know where you're coming from.
Hi Carrie. The lamb makes a baaaa sound when it 'bleats'. So you talk about a lamb, or a sheep or a goat, bleating. Lovely video by the way.
Rewatched the Ojai, CA video you made and you were thrilled about the goat and now you have a lamb to love and take care of. Full circle moment.
Oh man, I so fully resonate with everything about this video. As a long time subscriber it feels like you've really come into your authentic self over the last year or so, which is so beautiful to witness. It's super contagious and inspiring.
Keep up the good work , you guys are so awesome, love seeing your progress and love the life you have chosen for yourselves,
Hello 👋 I hope you’re safe over there? I hope this years brings happiness, love 💕 and prosperity all over the world 🌎🕊🕊
I’m Gillard from Louisville Kentucky, and you where are you from if I may ask?
I always wanted to live in a place like that with greenery all around me with some animals running around... gosh you made me remember my grandpa and granny's house which was like that and I used to go there every year in summer and winter holidays... go out on trekking, sleep under the sky at night, steal some mangoes from my neighbour's tree... gosh miss those days :(
Im incredibly lucky that my house is right next to a small farm. Its amazing listening to the beautiful nature sounds everyday
Listening to you talking about your new living situation and habits just always get me so excited about life. It’s so wonderful to see that you and Alex are happy together and enjoying life. Love, Jonas♥️
Say whaaaat????? Norwegian 💖 how fun 😃 I live in Norway 🥰 wasn't born here but have lived here since I was 1. Can't remember anything BUT Norway.
I am also raised in Nevada! I feel the same exact way about the “calling” I’m here in the city and don’t know financially how to get out of here
When I was young, my grandfather had the biggest vegetable garden in his backyard (it always seems much bigger when you're little!).
Beautiful countryside and so so green around😆 Animals are precious!
Nature is definitely medicine and daily healing for the soul. In nature there is peace. Even animals are gifts of peace ♥️
I work in rural economic development and your description of your rural home would actually be considered “frontier” in the US!
All looks perfect....how Rewarding.
I am 75 too! lol 😁
I am so excited for you, Carrie. Love your video! Thank you for sharing!
How beautiful! Keep Shining!
The final scene said it all peace. Lanka looks like he totally agrees with you.
You’re living the dream! I’d love to have property like this and a lil baby lamb one day ❤️
Impressive that you’ve scheduled time to go to the dump yard
Beautiful words clean 🌺
Its funny , this is how I grew up in the south and now I love in NYC, although I’m about to turn 30 and I’m feeling this desire to move back to my roots. Love seeing your video I’ve been watching since even before Alex and I love seeing you and other woman grow into more of us .
Live in NYC **
Do you miss your family and friends with such a huge change? You are a huge inspiration to me :) i am dreaming of a rural lifestyle
Of course I do. They are all looking forward to visiting and I will be going back to see everyone when I can.
it doesnt matter how somebody is or how experienced they are at something....."you can never stop learning". As you know your having to figuren things out for yourself...can be hard sometimes but mentally so rewarding......by the way so green where you are...looks like heaven...rolling green hills...a pond..ducks...and a lamb and a dog just chilling on the deck hahaha only in NZ Lol
I completely understand and totally related!.
I look forward to your videos as well as Alex and I am never disappointed. It’s such a relaxing way to begin the day, the week. Such beautiful content every time. I could never get bored of the silence as well especially in the environment that you’re living in. That is true bliss ☺️🌸🕊
Wow love this video so much! I love where you guys are at in your lives. Keep living your dream!!
A beautifully peaceful sit down chat :)
Loved every second watching this video! You are a beautiful human being ☀️
Rural, as in Rural Delivery or RD.
We have a route number. RD4… didn’t understand what it meant when we first moved in.
Hi Carrie! I absolutely love your videos💜 They always make me smile or laugh, Alex’s videos too! Somewhere in a new video can you touch base on what to do if you don’t want to work in corporate but are staying because of stability. I just don’t know what else there really would be to do. Anyway many blessings!
