Even though Sally was a schemer & a witch, her heart is in the right place & she knows how to run her business. And she's a wonderful lady & a great mother. Unlike that little hussie of a great-niece who has her name
The one-and-only Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) was my favorite character on "The Bold and the Beautiful." Ms. Spectra was Mae West reincarnated. She certainly was easier to take that the original "Ice Queen" Stephanie Forrester, with her brand of Grundyism. Sally Spectra was definitely the DIVA of "The Bold and the Beautiful," and there will never be another like her. While never "Venus," this mogul certainly deserves credit for glamorizing grandmotherhood, and further epitomizes the notion that a woman can have it all at any stage of life. With a brassy veneer emerged a colossal heart of gold, those legendary bon mots, complete with a bevy of succulent Cabana boys as her official ciscibeos. Make no mistake, nobody crossed this Sally without a feud! In the early years, Ms. Spectra sparkled with a touch of the louche. That accouchement storyline w/ CJ in 1993 was too surreal for me since Sally was already beyond menopause....lol! Yes, Sally was a social climber, but let the record show that unlike some of the insufferable primo/prima donnas of this serial, Ms. Spectra never bothered to sport airs and graces. Despite her corporate espionage (i. e. mistress of disguises), there was something to respect about this formidable force to be reckoned with as she created Spectra Fashions on her own initiative, and ultimately evolved into the original Mrs. Forrester's BFF, despite Stephanie's previous hauteur over the years. I never liked that textbook sleazeball Clarke Garrison. I swear that roue had "smack me hard" tattooed invisibly on his forehead, and who in their right mind could resist the temptation? However, I did ADORE Macy and Thorne and their fairy-tale love story. Bobbie Eakes was simply breathtaking and reminiscent of an elegant, juvenescent, and much more sincere version of Victoria Principal as Pamela Barnes-Ewing on "Dallas." Why Thorne, actually my favorite of the Forrester men, would divorce her for the blow-dried "Valley Girl" turned demimondaine (namely skank extraordinaire Brooke Logan and her "keeping it all in the family" modus operandi), who regularly bends over backwards for any man with the couture dynasty surname, is beyond anyone blessed with rational intelligence! Any person, in this case being a woman, who beds not one, but two sons-in-law, in this case, is sick in the head. Hell Anne Baxter's character in "All About Eve" almost looked "sweetness and light" in comparison to the conniving social climber/adventuress! And I would be remiss if I didn't invoke the names of quirky Darla and sweet Saul into the conversation. I am surprised that Sally and Saul were never an item as he showered his boss with tireless bouquets, and worshipped the ground "The Bold and the Beautiful's" diva walked on. Ms. Conley was the consummate actress, and the only soap star to date immortalized in Madame Tussand's museum.
Unbelievable - ex mother in law forgive him first macy's death because of brooke and hurt macy when her best friend darla Got pregnant with him. She saw in him true man who wanted to be love and respect especially by his parents - but they always wanted treat ridge like the king. I was so sorry thorne always lived in his Shadow. I think thorne is more handsome and better person than his selfish brother - he was happy with darla and aly
Sally was a wild and crazy woman but she loved her family and family was everything to her. She was a good woman.

I miss sally so much! Thorne needed to hear that so badly 😢what a mother!
I liked Sally because she was real I mean she was a blue collar worker and a businesswoman
Sally was a very good character on B&B. She was a very good friendly Rival to Stephanie! God I miss Sally! R.I.P. 🙏🏽

Never had the chance to watch these episodes when they aired originally. Sally’s been my favorite character while watching through old episodes.
I miss Sally 😭
Sally was for real.
Everyone needs a mother like Sally NOT Stephanie.
Sally was more of a mother to Thorne than Stephanie was. Stephanie spent all her time focusing on ridge while pushing Thorne a side
It was a shame the way everyone treated Thorne. And it's a miracle that he didn't freak out much earlier. Sally always had a big heart.
@@feuerwehrluetzen that's why they need to write Ridge off and bring Thorne back on and give him a good story line!
I felt bad for Thorne. Thorne was always jipped out of love from his folks, attention was always given to Ridge smh
God I love Sally, we need her back. 😢
Is this after the office freakout" You damn right it is you damn right"? **** Forresters underestimating the talents of their younger son.
Yes....
Oh, Thorne, you poor, unfortunate soul! RUN!!!!!!!! 😂
I miss Sally ❤

I always loved the diva of "Bold and the Beautiful" the REAL Sally Spectra-Darlene Conley
Sally was too forgiving after the way Thorne treated Macy
Yeah look at her great niece
I think it’s an insult to label ridge as a half brother! Who made up that word! Just say your brother ! What difference does it make! Blood is blood!
Awesome acting WinsorHarmon_official
