0:15 Drill Sargeant Barnes sounds really depressed. It's like he is going to cry, overdrink... and suicide just before the mission. OP4 voice acting was more energetic.

I had a really fun time playing the mod, its really great to play as a soldier from the beginning when things where under control and see it getting out of hand little by little. I hope more versions will come.

@@jgsworld7948 You can make it longer, once Gordon's HP decrease to a certain point, the script of you being killed start, so make sure to not fire at him too much like Bolloxed.

Someone should make a mod where Xen is invading a city in New Mexico like Santa Fe, your a marine fighting off the xen invasion, mantas are teleporting more alien grunts and its chaos. I think it would be cool to have an urban combat mod.

The main character is not a marine, but there is Half-Life : Urbicide, when you control a civilian trying to rescue his wife in a American city being invaded by xenian forces, it's really a good mod.

Not very sure but this is not the storyline of opposing force, where the main character was fighting with the BM’s members. This is the storyline of one of the soldiers who still with other members, and come with no mercy. Shoot on sight as planned. By the way, another great videos again.

This shows the story through Steven Milis not Adrian. Steven received orders to eliminate BM staff unlike Adrian who had been seperated from his squad and had no idea he was supposed to kill the personnel. Unless the player chooses to. So technically this is not Opposing Forces.

I had a lot of fun playing this mod! It was a blast moving through the areas from Half Life 1 and fighting Gordon Freeman, though the gargantua parts were a bit too tedious.

The mod was cool when I play it, but the ending was so weak in my opinion and it does not make any sense on how the Black Ops were hostile before the Military begins evacuation and abandoning Black Mesa.
I can say that this mod is Opposing Force but "What if Shephard never run into an accident and made with his team".

@@wodekw6862 So? What I aid wrong? I just write my opinions on it. Even if it is a mod, it follows what happened in HL universe so it must be connected. The mod's owner explained why the black ops were hostiles at that point.

Actually in the timeline Black Ops were first spotted in apprehension, before the HECU begins to pull out. In the chapter apprehension you encounter the assassins which is before so yeah.

I mean its a original story mod mate. Its not trying retell shephards story like operation black mesa.
Find it kinda hard a "kill everything alive" order would work on IRL soldiers some of them would notice something is off and not shoot. Also imagine all the loose ends that would have to be "cleaned" up by the gov, every soldier is a witness and could testify.
Which is what black ops and the nuke were for. Even though it was already pointless since Barney and co already skedalled

Apart from Adrian Shepherds unit (who have no idea about the kill order because his CO got his azz thrown off the pelican dropship before he can give it) I have no mercy for the HECU personnel who killed unarmed civilians.
This game is better than that Hunt for the Freeman mode for $20 something.
This mod looks pretty great and has a decent play on the idea of a campaign surrounding the HECU, and an original one at that. However, it definitely has room for polish. Kinda quiet in certain segments and theres a lot of pointlessly open spaces (presumably for the squad that’s following you), and voices could use some better clarity too. But still, this is a pretty good mod at its current state

For a mod still in alpha, this runs pretty damn flawlessly. It crashed once during the last chapter (no spoiler) where a lot of shit was going on. This plays sort of like Opposing Force, but much more defined and gritty. You are an H.E.C.U. Marine. Kill everything that isn't one of your own.
Finally a full BM - Military
They should have added some kind of easter egg like some marine putting on a gas mask in the boarding area, entering a classified osprey.

Why do they have twice as many bunks as marines? Also, the Osprey flies with its propellers perpendicular to the Earth; it only flies with its propellers parallel to the Earth when it is landing. And why wouldn’t you be dropped in with a full PCV charge?
