I don’t normally comment on RUclips videos but I just wanted to say that I’ve been watching your videos for a few months and it’s always so relaxing and inspires me in many ways! I’m a wife and a mom of 5 kiddos and I’m always looking for inspiration in ALL areas of life! I appreciate the time you put into making these videos for us all. God bless!
I m in India, I don't even cook this but watch Rachel's videos because they are so calming, soothing & aesthetically so well-done, my other favorites are @pickuplimes-- Sadia, @jusuf, @rowena & many more-- girl power!
Even though these aren’t recipes that I personally go for, I greatly appreciate recipes using actual techniques. I hate how blogs have made food cutesy and there is zero regard to techniques and true flavor development.
Everything about your videos exude happiness and calmness. I adore watching them and YT like you as I’m finally moving on from makeup addiction lol. That’s becoming a mad mad world and your vids are like a breath of fresh air😘😘
I love your channel and loved your vegetarian meal as I am a vegetarian and got to learn so much from you.You are very beautiful and graceful and everything you do is so inspiring.Love you and your recipes and everything you do.
You probably dont give a shit but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I love any help you can offer me!
Great dinner! I cook vegetarian at least once a week. If you are using your kitchen compost in the garden, you are going to have acorn squash randomly growing from the seeds you composted. I had cantaloupe one year because I composted the seeds.
This looks amaaazing!! I eat a plant based diet and feel so much lighter and clear minded!! The world truly is changing and more and more people are incorporating vegetarian meals into their weekly meal planning. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 feels so good to leave animals off the plate! Thank you so much for this awesome video!! ❤️
Hi Rachel ! I really like all of your recipes and take so many ideas. The way you roast cumin that’s what we do in India to make powder out of that and used in so many recipes. Thank you so much for giving us so many ideas for everything. God bless you
catmama54 , I never made it before. For me, it was just a fall table decoration but after watching this I’m open to trying it. How have you cut/cooked it in the past?
I love you're videos 😍 i love the format, i love the music, i love you're voice, everything is so calming and inspiring, it literally takes all the stress away ❤️
I really enjoy watching your channel for inspiration! I especially liked this video! Can you do some more videos like this one? Also, what you feed your kids and maybe some ideas for picky eaters?
I love ur videos because most of the stuff u do in ur videos are really simple, while it's great to learn really complicated stuff as well but i find that the easier the recipes r the more likely it is for me to actually do it and apply it in my cooking. On top of that i find u to be a very relatable person as a whole! Also, the aesthetics of ur videos is just incredible, inspiring and calmimg! Keep up the good work
I love acorn squash! What I do, as well as for Thanksgiving, is once they are halved, I fill them with brown sugar. Place in oven and then smash them together. Super delicious!
I used to grate carrots with lemon juice for me and my kids . Those long strips of carrots might need a quick steam for me and my children. Three cumin salt does sound a great idea.
I was just at the store staring at that acorn. I was thinking of butter and bake and honey & cinnamon. I love how u have it all out . The trash can is a must for me. Love your copper one. But I line mind with small bags. Make clean up a breeze.
Thank you for doing this video! Please do more healthy videos like this! I've seen a lot of healthy videos but there's not enough vegetables incorperated in the meals so this is great!
Hi Rachel , can u do a video showing ur garden ?? Please some tips too cause I have a lot of space in my garden and I don't know what to grow ? Now I have some flowers 😘😍😃
You have always been an inspiration for me and moreover I came to know about so many new things which I never knew about before. All your vedi is are amazing. Love from India.
Acorn squash is also so good stuffed. I stuff it with ground beef, onions, rice, and a mixture of some grated cheeses, but you could also use minced mushrooms instead of beef for the filling. It is really good and pretty simple to make.
Next time when u dry roast cumin , also try dry roast dry coriander and add in ur yogurt with cumin.. u will like it... cumin coriander in yogurt is the best combo
Wow i love the your kitchen is setup... its so relatable as an Indian.. infact the flavouring of your food looks to be inspired in a very Indian way as well 👍🏽
and yes that curd with roasted cumin is very Indian recipe-- it is called Raita. For rice- you could also add whole cumin to your rice with cilantro, this becomes jeera rice goes very well with lentils- dal tadka. Also, this rice does not look basmati-- basmati usually is long grain, and when cooked each grain seperates (mark of a skillful rice cooking), fluffy & long grain highly recommended to buy basmati from Indian/Pakistani grocery stores and brands like Daawat, Amira, Kohinoor, India Gate are real good. You can also make sticky rice but thats not good for basmati-- a variety called Ambemohar (blossom of mango) is to die for, check that out. Nature's gift from the south asian part of the world!
Please do a kitchen tour? I was noting all your bulk bins behind you and was so curious. Also, really appreciate your mentioning how we can veganize this recipe since it looks so delicious
What a beautiful, inspiring video ❤️ not realistic at all for my life (ballin’ on a TIGHT budget over here and living with a picky boyfriend..) but it all looked so good. Colourful and fresh.
Food looks great. My suggestion would be to remove Swiss chard stems and chop up the leavesit smaller so that it is less challenging to it. It would appeal much more to the kids as well. Colors of the food are beautiful.
Squash seeds tastes delicious when fried and adding a little salt. No need to waste it and also the thread like thing can be tossed into gravy, soups, etc.
I also would love it if you could do a video on how you compost?
Rachel and Byron both are so talented its crazy!

Ainsley Illium why would you say that you agree and then insult her? 🙄
I'm not even a vegetarian but this was pleasing to watch.
Everything about your videos exude happiness and calmness. I adore watching them and YT like you as I’m finally moving on from makeup addiction lol. That’s becoming a mad mad world and your vids are like a breath of fresh air😘😘

bahaha.. I asked Byron about that, and he was like, I think you can put seeds in compost. haha

Food videos are my favorite and this looks so delicious. As a fellow busy mom, I’d love to see some of your “throw and go” meals!
Looks delish! I'm so glad my parents made me eat what I was served. I never had the option of refusing! And now I love most fruits and veggies. Yum!
Amazing looking meal and I never thought to slice the acorn squash like that.Must cook faster but also aesthetically pleasing too.
