  • His Musical Career , aka Musical Tramp , is a burlesque film written and directed by Charlie Chaplin.
    It was produced by Keystone Studios and released in 1914.
    Chaplin finds work in a shop that sells musical instruments, taking on the delivery of one pianoforte and the retrieval of another. But alas, both the collection and the delivery will happen at the wrong address.

    I guess they wouldn't have been able to film the donkey scene in our time as it would be considered animal cruelty? 🤔

      perhaps, but I don't feel that this donkey was treated too cruelly. There are human beings who are treated even worse

      @@iconaus I don't find it a big deal either, but people nowadays are so much obsessed about these things that they put too many restrictions on film-making.
