I would agree, I can imagine if you can also put sailor moon's head on the pullip body as well, because the body of the original doll is also too tall and too grown up for sailor moon as barbie version just like miku. I like the miku doll.
For whatever it's worth, quilting supply stores sell tiny wand irons about 1" across, which might come in handy if you want to iron tiny seams or pleats in doll clothes again. (They're normally used to iron open 1/4" seams in detailed patchwork blocks.)

absolutely not!!! best case scenario it yellows over time, worst case it doesn't dry and stays a sticky mess!!! if you can't get mister super clear, testor's dullcote is a good substitute. when sealing, it's best not to cut corners, you don't want all your hard work ruined when it's so close to completion! 💜

Cool but I do not understand why you didn't just use an obitsu head as it is FAR more anime shaped, WAY less expensive then buying a whole new barbie and is literally the same brand as the body you used. Oh well, it is still nice.
just a couple tips for when you are removing the hair from a doll like this one warming up the head using hot water will make the glue easier to scrape out and if you use a phillips head screw driver you can carefully scrape the glue off the inside of the head making it easier to pull out (these methods work really well for me when i do my dolls)

Well needed some idea to do all things old Barbies that my niece keeps giving me. And unfortunately I don't have any of those moving Barbies from the yoga collection. But at least they can sit. And I can work with that. Before I was only making clothing for them. On request by my nieces. But eventually they got tired of their old Barbies or had to get rid of them and, course they came to me because I saw that I was making clothes for them and I have a collection of anime figures. Although I'm thinking maybe I should actually buy the other modeling bodies to make it look better. It's in my wishlist, I just haven't actually purchased them yet. But thanks for the great ideas.

I don't mind Miku having a more grown up look since she has been around for quite a few years now ^-^ How long does it usually take you to pull out all the glue remnants from inside the head? It seens like a pretty fiddly bit of work.
Such a cute custom! My favorite female vocaloid is Miku as well, and my favorite male vocaloid/all time favorite is Kaito. It would be kind of cool if you made a Kaito doll to go with Miku since the two make a really good pair visually and musically (that's probably why people, myself included, like to ship them). Plus, it can be your first male doll repaint. Anyway excellent job and I can't wait to see what you do next!
