I think this is a fair game for all , 1 KAS = 1 Mint, and then you can repeat the process as many as you want. It’s not gouging like what the whales are doing, one click and they buy the whole damn lot and can manipulate the market easily by buying and dumping all at once.

Not sure what your question is. KRC20 tokens will be mintable after their team deploys them, which can happen as early as 10AM EDT on June 30th 2024

Because the Kasware version you see in the video is not public yet. Your Kasware app will be updated to include that button once KRC20 protocol goes live on Kaspa mainnet next week

Sorry but i don't get it. Per mint you only can use 1 KAS ?? So i am buying nacho for 0.16 Cents and thats it ?? How on earth can you buy bigger quantaty ? If i want to buy for 1k Doller i need to mint 700 Times or what ?? Even if you want to buy for 100 Bugs you need 1 hour to do that ? Or did i understand this not correct?

How I sent #kas from kaspa mainnet to kaspa testnet? It says wrong network. When I save my testnet address and use it from addressar, the code changes and the #kas are send elsewhere.

Yeah, we will have to wait until Marketplaces, DEX's, or CEX's support Nacho and list. Then a chartable value will begin forming.

My kasware wallet says zero balance but no new transaction and if I check wallet it shows my balance as positive. I tried closing and reopened but it’s still showing no Kaspa

Eventually that will probably happen. But based on the Kasware wallet right now, no images are shown. Just the Ticker and the Quantity.

Is 28,700 tokens a default setting per mint? Also, will the 1000KAS per deploy fee be scaled in the future? 1000KAS in 12 months will be significantly more expensive than 1000KAS today.

Yes, Kasware is fully functional as a Kaspa Wallet, just waiting on those KRC20 functions to go live.
would be nice to preset the number of mints instead of doing one by one but i suppose that limits whales. also would be nice to see your kas balance before minting again but that’s trivial. thanks for the walkthrough.

Hi I just downloaded the Kaspium wallet through Apple downloads. Is this the same wallet where I can mint tokens?
Kaspium is not the same wallet. KasWare is the only wallet set up to support KRC20 on launch day.

How do you specify mint qty?
You cannot specify mint quantity on KRC20. Maximum per transaction is 1 Mint. For Nacho, 1 Mint costs 1 KAS and gives you 28,700 NACHO. If you want more, you need to Mint Again and continue doing so until you have as much as you want.

Possible but not recommended. You need a mobile browser that supports chrome extensions and then still need to be careful.

Unique Tickers is kind of a bad idea. People are just going to squat all the ticker symbols and they will be gone in 1 hour.
Interesting perspective. I see where you are coming from but the Kasplex team is working on some exciting tweaks that will make this far less of a problem than may be expected on first pass.
It costs 1000 KAS to deploy every token with a ticker, it's not free, also early project's tickers will be protected and some famous projects like stable coins and wrapped ptc/eth tickers are going to be reserved and impossible to deploy by regular user
@@ArgonMining Ok, but if you think of the next 100 years there will be hundreds of thousands of tickers. I just don't understand why anyone would even start with unique tickers unless they think Kaspa's shelf limit is only a few years. I hope the solution comes quickly otherwise this method is doomed to only serve meme coins who squatted low character ticker symbols. Ford is never going to want to use the chain if they can't use FORD as a ticker.
@@ihabjr6798 That's still an extremely limited namespace. Look how poorly it worked for BRC20s and now Runes has this same awful ticker symbol problems. It's really regressing. Projects also die and then what happens? That ticker is dead forever. Even now coinmarketcap has rotated out projects who retired and were replaced by new companies.
@@nickjunes Really good points here. I believe that this is not a terribly difficult thing to change in the future. I suppose this is just in place for now and as we see actual smart contracts come to kaspa in the future, things will change a bit. Who knows!?

Where do I get kaspa testnet
You can go into the settings of Kasware wallet and switch to testnet if you want. But that is NOT necessary. Just wait for the update to come out and mint on mainnet
