When Korg decided to recreate the original Uni-Vibe from the '60's, they went straight to the source, enlisting the original engineer, Fumio Mieda, to help them design the new Korg Nuvibe. The Nuvibe recreates the original effect using a mind-boggling 79 transistors in a discrete circuit. The new buffer circuit was recreated as well, a feature that is vital to the Nuvibe's authentic sonic signature. Not content with a simple reissue, Korg added some exciting modern features, including true bypass, battery operation, and ten wavesliders for sculpting your own unique LFO waveforms. The Nuvibe's control set includes knobs for volume, intensity, and speed, and a footswitch for toggling between chorus and vibrato modes. The included expression pedal allows the player to control the speed of the Nuvibe's modulation with their foot, and just like the original, rocking the pedal to the heel-down position bypasses the effect for ultimate real-time control on stage. - Видеоклипы
When the first result for my search of the Korg Nuvibe showed Andy, I clicked instantly. Masterful playing as usual, and that swing waveform at the end is genius.
This is the coolest univibe style pedal I've seen to date!
create your own waveform!?!?!?! Best Uni-Vibe out there.
Finally found the uni-vibe demo where Andy plays Hey Baby(New Rising Sun)
Great pedla,! Great Demo! Thanks Andy!
The best demo on RUclips
Thanx for the fantastic demo, bought it, lov it
Sounds great! Love the wave shaper sliders! Expensive? Yes, but completely justified imho.
I guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Landry Derrick Instablaster =)
@Caleb Lyric I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Caleb Lyric it worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Landry Derrick Happy to help =)
Andy, Great demo as always. The vibe pedal is alright, but I'm keeping the deja-vibe I have. I loved that last little swing you added at the end. I'd bottle that and keep it. Thanks for the demo.
Love Hendrix's 'Hey Baby' (New Rising Sun).
Sounds awesome
Hi Andy, nice pedal good demo.best wishes.
3:55 "Lady May and John Coltrane" - Gil-Scott Heron :D
"Lady Day" & John Coltrane
Wow. I expected to be underwhelmed by this pedal when I first heard of it, since it lacks the lamp and photocells of the original, but this demo sounds great. I love how it can sound like the original without pretending to be the original. Unlike some other stuff out there labeled Univibe that don't even approach the sound.
Wow $499? Love the sound, hate the price.
$499 ??!! At that price, does it include a gold ingot ??
Got mine on Reverb for $197.00 new in the box. Got to shop around. It a killer pedal!
just picked one up on reverb for 250 bucks 250 bucks
Some lucky people here. Congrats, it sounds stellar
If I don’t get paid I can’t care about prices.🤷🏻♂️👍
the best vibe there is in the market. this pedal is fantastic. I sold my deja vibe
Lmaoo. Not even close. The best is the unique vibe. Then either the sabbadius funky-vibe or shin ei vibe bro/vibe 2. This shit doesn't even come close. Sounds nothing like a og univibe
@@patrickrosington1174 you're completely wrong .. you've never tried it. for trying the nuvibe and the shin ei univibe side by side both at the same time. well they sound the same. find out and educate yourself on the forums you will understand. there are 4 trimpot in the nuvibe to adjust the speed of the wave varying the mids and bass. it is a wonder . are only weak point is its size but it is vintage.
@@quoimagueule628 ive owned it along with an original and every other one I've mentioned. And dozens of others. Lmao what a fucking jackass you are. "Go read forums and you'll see that blah blah blah. Are you serious right now?. Idiots like you are sad as hell. You get all your info from forums and reading peoples opinions online and then spew shit as truth. Ive owned all of the mentions pedals. How about you? Guessing you've never even seen a real vintage univibe let alone played or owned one. The nuvibe is literally TERRIBLE. Messing with the trimpots does not change that fact.
It does not sound like a og univibe in anyway. It also does not react like one. It doesn't react the same with the amp or your guitar. It also plays differently with fuzz and od pedals than a real unvibe. Which is a massive part of most vibe sounds.
“Educate yourself on the forums” LMAO
There is no best, only what the individual likes.
I like the original Univibe and I like the NuVibe as well. Is one better? Well, that’s not my place to say for anyone but myself.
@@patrickrosington1174 you're ridiculous
buy a korg nuvibe and come see me i'll tune it up and show you it sounds as good as the shin ei.
I went on Facebook to see and I came across your profile 😂. but are you a teenager? you look so young you would say a baby How do you want to be credible with your comments here when we know that you play behringer pedals 😂😂.
Apart from your jtm45 which is very good after all if it's a real one. because I have a vintage jtm45 which cost me very very expensive (super amp) a beautiful clear sound especially on strat. the rest of your business is crap. you have a beginner's pedal board without a boutique pedal.
I'm going to ask you as friends so you see what a real fan of vintage jimi hendrix and 60s / 70s pedal music is. you have an electro harmonix pog 🤣😂
On the other hand, I did not see any univibe?!!!!
you see my little one on the net there are too many idiots of your kind who spoil the comments by pretending to be big while they invent a life for themselves.
stay in your place. and please come back and talk to me when you have the gear to match and be a man once in your life.
your wife has beautiful shape
Lady Day and John Coltrane! Holy shit, Andy! Gil-Scott-Heron has fans at PGS?!
Nice demo man....
Awesome!!!
Way better demo than that fucking train wreck demo Korg released. Good job Andy. I'd still take a Strymon Mobius to cover this ground though...
the strymon looks cool (i love that lo-fi feature), but nothing ive seen so far comes as close to a proper hendrix sounding vibe pedal than this. here in the UK the strymon and the nuvibe are the same price new, so the next time i get the cash together, im buying the nuvibe!
sweet I knew Andy would hav3 an awsome video on this
You can get these for $200 if you shop around use. This pedal works FAR!!!!! better with a buffer pedal in front of it. Then, it's PERFECT- no volume loss. I have a 100% accurate clone of the Univibe, and this pedal is every bit as good, plenty of throb.
Godlike viby goodness in a can... Andy, TY for the demo! Perfect lushy swirls.
love the G&L too
gonna save up for this right here.
got mine on reverb for 250 bucks plus shipping
G&L and NuVibe=cool sound
Hendrix aka God sound ^^
Jeheeez man, that's some bare dollar that! 400 quid?!
Would love to hear Jimi play with this gadget!!!
What was the dirt pedal you were using at the start?
79 discrete transistors? Damn.
dude I can never get over your right hand technique
きたあああああああああああああ
how much does this one go for.. and where is it made?
Oh F**K Yeah.... That's It !!!! (Expensive Yess But Well Worth It)
Nice. I wonder how it compares with the voodoo vibe
GIVE IT AWAY NOW.
Yeah that's probably never going to happen lol they want you to pay for it this thing cost five hundred bucks
Cool was definitely look at the dunlop univibe for that robben trower thing. Wasn't sold on the nuvibe but that swing thing you did at the end andy got me interested. Kind of make me think they need to have presets now though
00:00 Jimi Hendrix . - Hey Baby...o gypsy boy.......perfect just the part whitout tutorial or guitar lesson on the web,
Andy do you think Jimi Hendrix played like you finger style ??
Another kind of sound from Jimi ... It would have been amazing.
Great lesson Andy , ass always.
Ass always??
Got some first rays of the new rising sun....
Andy show me how to play like you
Killer tones but damn that's A LOT of pedalboard real estate
And money! $500! D:
yeah lots of wallet real estate
Cool
rush2795
Hell yeah. I don't even want to know how much it is. How much is it?
Yup $500
Sounds cool, but I'll stick with the deja-vibe. Nice demo :)
See square2zz
fuck yeah man that deja vibe has never done me wrong and it's a quarter the price
TC Vicious Vibe is also a good pedal for the money. 129$ new
Is PGS still selling G&L?
Got mine a few years ago for 250 bucks new
But what does it sound like on a bass? Probably pretty epic...
"The new buffer circuit was recreated as well" does that mean the buffer is a new or the old design?
Korg using the same box of Vox Delay Lab =D kkkkk... in other word this pedal is huge =O...
same done by Ibanez, Boss, Wampler, TC, Way Huge and everyone else. They just change colors.
True. It's Vox that is using a Korg enclosure.
+Iago B well, Vox is owned by Korg. Long story short.
An original Uni-Vibe is even bigger than this
Slide me this, PGS lords
Now if only it had a blend knob
Wetter Box
Any idea where this is made...China?
Hendrix's Hey Baby is the Vibrato setting, Not the Chorus..
HOLY FUCK
What song was at the beginning?
hey gypsy boy (jimi hendrix). there's a version on people hell and angels
Hey Baby (New RIsing Sun)
sidetablesillyhat yeah you're right. although some parts he used for hey gypsy boy
sidetablesillyhat rush2795 thanks guys :)
THAT PRICE....
so we got this one, the new Shin-ei re-issues called "Vibe Bro", the "Unique Vibe". and they all look petty much the same.. where is this one made, and how much does it go for? Are these guys doing the same "limited production, limited time only" thing, too like Shin-ei is trying to do? So many Univibes.. and hard to tell which is best..all I got is these little computer speakers..
Look for return policies and try a bunch of them. Korg have been making the Nuvibe for 2 years so doesn't seem to be limited. I've also heard the EHX vibe pedal is nice. I'm in the same boat though, I want a vibe pedal but don't know which to go with!
Try Drybell Vibe Machine. Imho it is easily on par with original Shin-ei.
Fumio …..wow….hundred transistors…instead of a photocell…hmmm
Sounds great. They should make a stripped down version though( perhaps with a switch to select a couple of waveform presets) but build it into that nice Korg Expression pedal form... and strip the price down some lol. The Ernie ball expression trem is the kinda thing I'm thinking of. Imagine that but this.
Cool pedal kinda sounds a bit too hard (for lack of better term) almost like a hard tremolo on the low end not as juicy sounding especially overdrive but capable of different sounds... still expensive...
That is based on demos I have heard may be different in use.
No..You Want That...That's What All The Original 69'/70' Units Have That You Don't Find In Recreation's..And You Can Simply Pull Back on Your Intensity (Or Low End Sliders) To Reduce That :)
..See (That Hardness You Speak of) Is What Makes The Original 69'/70' Univibe's So Sought After..Because That More Closely Replicates The Doppler Effect of a Leslie's Low End Rotor That The Univibe Recreations Aren't and Cannot Produce.
Ya why is it so expensive compared to the rest I can understand 200.00 but not 500.00! I thought it would be cheaper than most they probably won't sell that many @ that price!
I got one in a blowout sale for a bit more than 100, new. The pedal is great but I think they made a huge mistake when they released it at such a steep price point. Also, is not a pedal for everybody, for example people that play lots of gigs and have to carry their own equipment, the thing is too bulky. I guess they tried to make a product that had the looks and feel of the original with some innovations aimed for the wealthier home player. I can attest it sounds great.
Doesnt sound as intense as other vibes to me.
see this, hen i see the tc alter ego... but tis alittle rediculous offering pedals when i could buy a chinese made fender for the same
500 bucks...i mean half monthly salary. i must deduce guitar gear companies are slow on understanding the concept of "economical crisis"
This is not for broken people, that’s for sure
sounds awful ..
Great Uni-Vibe sound....but its 499 dollars...geeze.
Joey Dang
For that money just get the ultravibe from sweetsound
