This being said though, her manipulations wouldn't have worked if Kody wasn't 100% willing to go along with it every step of the way. She was his "trophy"; she wasn't going to let anything stop him from claiming his prize.

Let’s not forget the clip,of Garrison saying that it ‘hurt’ when he was told that Robyn’s family wouldn’t be part of the annual gift exchange. Robyn thinks she is protecting her kids yet when the siblings try to act with love and kindness towards hers, they are left disappointed.
You could see Garrisons pain.Garrison was a very broken man.
Robyn flat out lied and led her children to believe it was the fault of the siblings not really wanting to include them, when it was actually 100% her doing. She's done the same thing over and over to them for years. I feel so bad for her children... She won't be able to shelter them from discovering the truth forever, someday they're going to find out.
Robyn is so afraid of being alone that she refuses to let her children gain emotional maturity. Garrison’s spot in the couch was so sad even before he felt he needed to resort to self harm equally disturbing was seeing how emotionally fragile her oldest daughters were. They weren’t able to speak without feeling overwhelmed and crying. The kids are all collateral damage for these people.
