How about a good ole 'travel essentials' video or 'do's and don'ts for the airport'. Maybe even a video detailing your preferred methods of transportation in a particular city and why? I'd watch those videos if you made them. Congratulations on 100k subscribes.
Edit: I assumed it was obvious that the advice in these video suggestions would be intended for use in the future, when we've overcome the current health crisis.
Perhaps that was too bold an assumption on my part.

Ps you can travel to ‘past places’ around where you live. Or do Google Streetview travel vlog.

In France you can only walk outside for buying food or helping an elederly or going to work. If you wanna talk some fresh air or walk the dog, you are actually limitied to a circle with a one kilometer radius and must be back before the end of an hour. That doesn't help much for making videos. ^^
Point(s) of order sir! Firstly, your videos are really good (for an amateur. Haha.) Secondly, they are very (surprisingly?) informative (considering the quirky subject matter.) And finally (finalment?), you are BLOODY funny. While watching your videos (with my headset on) I often laughed so loud my flat-mates thought I was loosing my mind. Again. Stay safe. Cheers.

I am so pleased to have stumbled across the channel. Your piano playing in the back ground of things like ‘map men, map men, map men, map men men...men’, ‘round the twist’ and ‘Thomas the tank engine’ is a fantastic addition. As I write this, you are nearly at 150k subs (epic!) keep up the fun content!
It is quite exciting to see one of your favorite RUclips channels grow exponentially so fast! Tim's videos are always so funny and interesting, it's like having a very amusing travel companion.
Can't wait for you to go back on the road once all of this is over. In the meantime, stay put and always making videos!!

I usually watch Tim’s videos at least twice; the second time to try and identify the music - Tim is very good at the slightly obscure but perfectly chosen (and performed) music cue.
How about a video of you traveling to the grocery store since that’s about the only place we can travel at the moment 😂. I’d watch it, to be fair.
Wasn't there a French lad who wrote a book called something like Travels Round My Bedroom? Le Maitre or something like that. I've never read it - I'm not the polyglot that Tim is - but I understand it's very interesting. Maybe not being able to travel will help us appreciate our everyday environment a bit more. Look on the bright side, eh? Stay healthy!
Not all of us live in France, so we don't know what a French grocery store looks like. Sure produce on the shelf, but I'm sure the layouts and items are different.
@@steveaustin2686 Some are identical. We have Oreos too. But no Henry bar or weirdly flavored sodas. No peanut butter products neither.
You will find a common point : no more toilet paper, paper towel or flour. I usually do my own bread but can't anymore because of the lack of flour !

This video just blew my mind. I've watched Jay Foreman for several years now, and have watched and rewatched almost all of his videos many many times. And around a year ago, I discovered your channel. I remember thinking that you looked familiar, but I couldn't figure it out. Just a few minutes ago, when I just started watching your latest video, it just clicked. Then, I searched up "Jay Foreman Tim Traveller" on RUclips, and found this!

Watching this exactly 3 years later (ok, 3 years + 1 day, geez, so pedantic) and once again I have to say that I love your humour and attitude and I look forward to watching your videos.
Sorry I couldn't think of any searching questions, but thanks for the inspiration; being a bit of a stoic non-traveller, it may well be time for me to start making videos about all the fun stuff you can do whilst avoiding human contact as it's something I'm really good at. As I have already marathoned all of yours, I shall now move on to Jay and Tom and the other person you mentioned. That said, I will happily watch virtually anything you feel inspired to make a video about. 'Virtually' may well be a keyword here.
Without making any direct comparisons, I'm enjoying Jay, I might persevere with Tom and Geoff isn't my thing. It's wonderfully British of you to be self-deprecating by comparison, but you have a unique perspective which is incredibly entertaining - like a book you can't put down. Follow your bliss, do what you do right and we'll be along for the journey, even if it's just imaginary for now.

Always very pleased whenever I see a new video of yours, they are a highlight. Recently inspired me to go interrailing, although that also got cut short. Upside-I will go again, and definitely to at least a couple of locations that you have mentioned!
Congrats, it was very fast climb from few thousands to 100k! Love your a bit unpolished style of editing and filming + humor.
And the best thing is not touristic / weird places and topics n locations in videos; really satisfying to watch!
Just a small idea to fill some time during the lock down that I am sure someone else might have already suggested:
I am sure you have a bunch of unused footage from your past videos. You could easily stitch some of the footage into a relaxing little travel montage (my preference) or travel vlog (probably someone else's preference) just showing the areas you have been too. You could get some musicians involved too (or yourself, since it seems you play music too) to use music for the montages. There are likely many great small musicians who would love to offer their music for your little project...I would offer mine...but....uh, it's definitely not "relaxing" music for travel montages.
You can also check common royalty free options, such as the music that Peter Stripol uses in his building montages.
The views on these travel montages and/or vlogs probably won't be very good, but at least it's some filler stuff while you are in lock down.

I'd like to say I've been here since the beginning, but that would be an outright lie.
I have however been watching you for a good while now and my partner and I both love what you do.... we also particularly love listening to the bits of piano music you play over the top and often giggle at your choices, very good choices and (we like to think anyway) not things that everyone would get.
Interesting to hear that you moved to France, are you in Paris? One of my favourite cities in the world. But again, that said, there are many cities I am sure I could say that about if I actually visited them!
We love your humour, both self-deprecating and actually your jokes too.
Would love to share a beer with you one day. Scratch that, I actually don't like beer, I'll have a dark rum and diet coke.
And for while you can't travel... how about some blooper reels from previous travels, top tips on travel hacks that you have learned/made up yourself to make your travel easier, 'directors cuts' of some of your more favourite places you have been to...?
My only real gripe is that I often wish your videos were longer, so the 'Director's Cuts' would actually really please me :)
Finally a question, and feel free to not answer/tell me to mind my own.... is there a significant other in your life?
We love finding the weird and wonderful and a few friends have often said they would love to come on holiday with us.... At some point it would be great to join you on a stupid trip somewhere. One of my fave's of ours was visiting an abandoned leper colony (yes really!). And it's actually in Europe :D We love crappy towns, oddities, weird shi... well I cant swear but you know what I mean.
Even if I/we never meet you, please carry on doing what you do, you really do make us laugh and that is worth more than Gold.

You're in Paris, so here are a few ideas that doesn't involve travelling; you could talk about Paris sewer system, the catacombs, the highest hill of Paris, the secret subway stations, le pendule de Foucault, whatever works!

You could make videos about curiosities that you might not travel to in the future using stock footage. Something along the line of all those big buildings you referenced in the longest apartment video that you weren't going to be bothered to visit.
Also, talking about past trips from before the RUclips videos and/or travel recommendations or tips. Maybe you have some old footage like used in the "Tim Traveller opening theme".
Been watching since a week or two after you 1000k special and watched almost al videos and want to say you are great and should have wayyyyyyy more subs

It's almost april 1st, you should make an apartment tour but as if it's an interesting historical landmark, make up an incredible backstory for everything, make sure to wear a jacket and hat like you've gone hiking up north, etc. Also, you should change your channel name to "The Tim"
