In regards to your out door lanterns, I have a similar issue here in Oklahoma. I use Gorilla Glue outdoor tape in the bottom. It's weather resistant and keeps my lanterns and lanterns in place. When I want to replace the lanterns, I use a heat gun to gentle pry up the tape. I've also used command strip velco as well.
It makes my day to see a video from Fia! Love all of your ideas, it makes me feel spring-y. I too, live in a colder climate. I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Easter!
Congratulations everyone! Ms. Fia you’ve done it again ❤❤❤ everything you design! Hope you & your family are having a wonderful Easter. I never thought of putting a wreath inside a wreath 🤯 I learn something every time you post a video… Thank you!
I just recently found your site and am loving watching all your decorating hacks. I've watched the 3 most recent videos and will be watching the older ones in the next few days.
Amazing projects. The painted outdoor roses I love and I am going to try it. Also loved the solar light in the pot and the double wreath, and the lanterns in the trees. Love it all.
You have such great ideas! My suggestion for keeping those light-weight lanterns in place is a little bit of hot glue on each corner. I use it every year for my winter porch decor. The winds here can be brutal during that season. They stay secure until I remove it with a flat edge scraper. And it leaves no marks
Love your channel! Thanks to your idea of double wreaths presented here, you got me inspired to whip up a gorgeous spring wreath from existing wreaths I had that I was going to dispose! Tying them together and a few dollar tree new florals later the result is pretty and unique 😊- thanks 🙏
I would like to suggest that spraying a quick thin coat of polyurethane on faux florals will help them keep their colors longer. I spray my door mats as well instead of replacing as often cause they fade quickly😊
New to your channel and loving it so far! Just a tip for your recycled flowers...I use my portable air compressor to blow out dust bunnies when necessary and use the blow dryer to warm them up to hand shape them when flat from boxing. Thanks for all your helpful tips and tricks to make our homes more beautiful ❤️
"Hi" from a fellow Buckeye (Go Bucks!!)......Always great content.....you have given me some new ideas for Spring decor. First stop will be the thrift store.
Wonderful diy, design and style!! Try a layer of river rock in the bottom of the lantern that broke surrounding a candle, that might weigh it down...? Here's to Spring weather there🌷
Happy Easter 🐣 beautiful lady 💗 everything is stunning with your creations. My favorite is the wreath and all the outside plants but everything is beautiful and stunning. Omg I won your awesome prize thank you so much and congratulations to all the other winners 🎉 I just IG you but you have to except 😊 have a lovely Easter 🐣 Sunday 🌈🦋🐰💗🐇🐣
Hi there!! Congratulations!!! Can you please email me @ agarcia8@kent.edu from the email you would like me to send the gift card to? Thank you so much!!
Congratulations to gift card winners!!🎉 You could have weighed a vase on its own, then place the faux in and weighed them that way. I always love how creative your mind sees potential in things and come up some amazing dups. Thank you for sharing your mind🙏 You've mentioned your Mum and sister, it would be interesting to see their space, if its not too much😊
Such beautiful looks. You always make it look so easy. I am learning from your channel to head to my thrift stores with a plan and new ideas to get the right looks with diys.
Here in Maine we thiught yes soring is here with all the smow melted away and flower bukbs popping up then boom we had a big snowstorm a week ago more snow than we got all winter and we got it in one storm and we are getting a Nor' Eaester in a few days..
I live in frigid and windy Pennsylvania, and I put polished rocks in the bottom of my lanterns and then push a large cylindrical vase and candle into the rocks and it stays in place
If the leaves look too fake- paint them. I’ve done this with fall mums and even added furniture stain to make them super realistic. Stinks but if outside plants the smell will eventually go away. I dont own the first live plant -Too time consuming to take care of.
On the light lanterns that blow over, wonder if you cut a 4" thick piece of wood the same size as the lantern, paint it black or a nice stain and screw/glue it to the bottom to help weight it down.
I'm from South Africa. Please can someone tell me why wreaths are so popular in USA. I can understand people displaying them at Christmas but not year round. Where did this idea originate?
I think they started to get popular in the 80’s. Perhaps amplified by Martha Stewart. I think it was felt was more meaningful than a “welcome mat” to greet guests. And could be very personalized.
A little concrete hack Fia, mix in some bean bag filler to your concrete mix, you still have the stability but, it bulks it out and make its lightweight which also makes it easier to move pots etc that might otherwise be very heavy :)
As for the outdoor lanterns you could put a heavy magnet plate and a a sheet of metal underneath the base to weigh it down. It might work and not interfer with the design
Ugh you’re my absolute fav diy channel …so much class… your voice… your designs… the music..everything! ♥️
Agreed🙌🙌🙌
I agree ☺️
You are a genius. I think you should do a coffee table book full of your ideas. I'd buy it! ❤
Love all the diys especially the white floral wreath so full & beautiful !

Great outdoor ideas .... don't know if this has already been shared but you can put decorative rocks in the bottom of the lantern to add some weight.
Love all your decor and that you also do for your mother and sister. How lucky they are! YT had unsubscribed me!!!
Congratulations everyone!

Love the double wreath idea! Thanks for sharing.
I especially like the planters you picked out for your front porch. Layering the wreaths is brilliant! Very nice.
I love the idea of combining the two wreaths to make a bigger one, super excited to do this! Thanks

The watercolor technique on faux roses turned out beautiful!

I've never thought to layer wreaths, I'm definitely going to try this! Your ideas are so brilliant!!
I keep my lanterns from tipping over by filling the base with natural stones. I then nestle a pillar candle in the middle.
The wreath for your front door turned out beautiful!
Hola Fía me fascinan tus videos te veo desde Inglaterra . Muy creativa te felicito.X
Another amazing diy video on a budget!
Beautiful as always!!! Happy Easter!

Loved the revamps! They all turned out amazing. An idea for the lanterns...maybe some river rocks in the bottom?

Plexiglass on the lantern , double sided construction or carpet tape to adhere to surface

Buy Plexiglass at Lowe's and cut it with jigsaw and replace the lantern glass.
Happy Easter Fia to you and your entire family. Loved the wreaths! You have inspired me to make one for myself.
Great job ❤
Beautiful.

I ❤ Fia Garcia!! 😊
Fasten the bases of lanterns to cement pieces or blocks using Gorilla Glue products. Paint to match the lanterns
On the light lanterns that blow over, wonder if you cut a 4" thick piece of wood the same size as the lantern, paint it black or a nice stain and screw/glue it to the bottom to help weight it down.
Our girl FIA❤
Love your dups! I didn’t know you live in Ohio! I do too
Maybe you could use some tent pegs to anchor your lanterns to the ground.
Could you use Alien Tape to the bottom of your lanterns to keep them in place?
tnx new Friday rifly 🍉🍓🍊
Did I miss the link for the solar pot lights from Amazon?

Keep watch in your solar lights. I put them in with a fern last year and it actually heated up so hot that it started to burn. The strangest thing.
