    What Is Sunken Slab ?
    The sunken slab is one of the familiar and adaptable ways to maintain architectural design in especially the washroom, as well as laundry areas
    The sunken slab is a type of slab cast at a certain depth ( 200 mm or any other depending on design) below normal floor level, it is also known as a sunk slab, this extra depth is used for placing pipes, utility ducts, then space is filled with sand or other lightweight materials until the normal floor level.
    MATERIAL USED TO FILL SUNKEN SLAB:
    CLC blocks (Cellular Light Weight Concrete)
    Broken Red clay Bricks
    Broken Fly Ash Bricks
    Coal lumps
    Burnt Tar lumps
    Brick Jelly
    USES OF SUNKEN SLAB:
    Sunken Slab used in the washroom.
    It is used in the Washing area.
    Any other area where sanitary pipes needed.
    ADVANTAGES OF SUNKEN SLAB:
    So that water can not come back.
    All plumbing items concealed in the sunken slab.
    It reduces noise.
    Provide a better drainage system.
    Easy to repair.
    Can provide desired decoration in the space.
    DISADVANTAGES OF SUNKEN SLAB:
    The height decreases from slab to slab.
