Friendly reminder that when they added the append skills, all servants got a skill to increase damage against some random class they do neutral damage against. The only blessed non-berserker servants who would make good use of this were the ones who got increased damage against Berserkers. Guess who is one of those blessed servants, thats right baby its our alpha male Cu right here.
wrong some servants got amplified damage against classes who they already did damage hyde(berserker) and stheno(assassin) got damage against riders okita alter(alter ego) gained damage against casters, passionlip got damage against assassins hokusai, abby and MIXA against berserkers kiara(alter ego) gained damage against rulers, and she already have a passiva that made her do advantage damage against them and other servants gained damage against berserkers but almost all berserkers(except hyde and maybe one that i forgot) for critical resistance instead of an atk up

It isn't ENTIRELY random though. Usually it has to do with servants theyre related to. Astraea gets a bonus against archer, aka Ishtar, Okita (saber) does bonus damage to avengers aka Demon King Nobu. Also, Medb, Cursed Arm, and both versions of Scathach have a bonus against Lancers (Cu).

Nowadays with all the ways you can invest into a servant (120, gold fous, fou paws, etc) basically anything can be pushed into being a monster with the raw stat increase as long as they scale somewhat decently. Whereas the likes of Cu who already scaled abnormally good with pound for pound stat increases is now at a level of strength words can't describe.

thing is Cu is never being intended to be a DPS, but Hozoin is, so I see what he's getting at, Hozoin offensive skill is from NP (attack up, crit up), quick up, and defense down, while Cu is only attack up and defense down from his NP, so it make sense

Everyone get's the same stats from extra levels However Lancers get slightly more damage per point of ATK. The main reason Cu is so good grailed is because his skills guarantee a large number of turns for you to put your stats to use. And with the extra HP you often get his skills back an extra time (or two) which means even more turns. Cu's kit let's makes one extra turn, turn into 2 or 3 extra turns which allows you to attack a lot more in total
If you’ve been doing fine without him then there’s no point. He only really shines if you’re doing solos and an anchor but at that point just restart the fight

Well at 114 he's statwise the same as maxed out lv 90 Scathach with Fous. He does have a better kit for soloing but at 100 she surpasses his health and damage by 1-2K. I'm keen to try 120 on my Jalter when it comes around. Just need to get her one more time to have enough servant coins. Already bond 13 with her, so getting the last bit of 14 and 15 should be done before the coins get announced. I must have the highest raw damage, such is the life of being a Jalter simp. Now if only I could get a Koyanskanya or Merlin.
Probably off your Internet/data when fights about to be finished then when you restart just abandon it instead of continue, or just make extra account then add your main.
altria pendragon is notably good, neither of the others are particularly notable. Heracles has the potential to be good, but yours won't be able to be for a significant amount of time. The vast majority of story fights (all through solomon) are completable with just friend supports soloing, so it's generally recommended to focus resources towards being able to farm efficiently, and altria pendragon is very good for that.
for the sake of your own experience I'd say that you should go out of your way to beat 1.0 without relying on Overlevled friend supports the early game is a slog but it picks up at camelot especially if you try not to get carried. As for your golds: Artoria: they are an okay farmer but if you ever need someone for a Single Target boss they will really show the limitations of their kit. Herc: best 4* in FGO, even without his Bond CE a leveled herc can carry for all of 1.0 and still dunk in lost belt. Orion: a Functional ST archer. though you shouldn't disregard your budget units, as seen here Cu is strong his competition are 5* units despite him being a 3*. Given how much easier it is to level 1-3*s I'd level the best budget units before your golds since having one strong gold in a single class doesn't mean much if you don't have anything in other classes.(Herc is the exception to the rule) Farming isn't something you'll have to worry about until you get later in FGO since the mains story gives you so much loot

With upgraded skill 1 (Ath n'Gabla or Shoal of Four Branches) Cu is now basically a 5-star servant, gaining 50% attack when he is at 1 HP.
