Great video. I will say Kimblade is hyping up their new gen 3 blades that are supposed to address all issues with the current gen 2. From my own experiences with some of the better brands of wiper blades I have learned a couple things.
1. Deep clean your glass at least every 1 to 2 months. I got a mother's 2.0 clay bar and it gets the deep grime and gunk out of the glass very well, just use a good glass cleaner and appropriate towels.
2. If you use your wipers regularly DO NOT coat your windshield with any coatings, will cause wiper skipping or smearing that is dangerous at night. Side note in some states it is illegal to drive during rain without your wipers on.
3. Do not use washer fluid with rain repellant in it, will cause a film on the glass and it's very annoying, had good luck with cheap fluid from walmart.
All in all, I'm curious to see how the gen 3 blades perform since Kimblade touts about how the blades self heal, are infused with ceramic and graphene and long durability with easy blade swaps.
Time will tell though.
Excellent pointers!
@@TeslaJoy simple is effective
Thanks for the video. Easiest wiper blades I've ever changed! 👍
👍
Up here in Seattle, we change our wipers more often than SoCal I'm sure. This is good info. Thanks Sis.
So easy! And the process only takes a few minutes. Thank you Joy, I love Mondays because of your videos.
Nice Joy, you sure made that look easy.
Great tips and install! Glad to see you're using our glass cleaner too! 😀
It’s my favorite glass cleaner! 😃
Whoa! How easy Joy! Will checkout the entire video with the products you recommend! :)
Great tips, thanks Joy! As an option, you can use Meguiars Quik Wax on your windshield and other exterior glass. It won't leave a white residue on plastic/rubber trip, and buffs out very easily. Of course, it can be used on the exterior painted surfaces as well. Meguiars Quik Wax is available at most auto parts stores, Walmart, etc.
Love your nail color💜
My favorite color! 💅🏼
Thank you, Joy!
Good for you Joy. As I before a while ago, you becoming an auto mechanic. 😉👍🏻👍🏻
Ha!
Great video~期待看到后续使用情况
目前還用的很好 😊
I appreciate all your helpful tips.
If you have your windows tinted could you tell me what percentage. I’ve wanted to have my MS windows tinted but don’t know what percentage to ask for. Our CA sun gets pretty hot.
Hi Diane, I think my tint is at either 30% or 35%. Can’t remember since it’s been almost 3 years, but not super dark where you cannot see through. I also did UV protection “tint” on my windshield to reduce 70% of UV rays. You can’t tell it’s tinted at all and it helps reducing heat coming into the car. Hope this helps!
Great advice Joy! To add to that, we usually install 35% on all side windows and 50% on the rear glass, but that's also because we're in TN. Here is the link to check the CA law if this helps you decide: windowtintlaws.us/california/
Thank you Ji! Actually in CA it is illegal to tint front driver/passenger windows and windshield. However, I’ve tinted them on all my cars (even before Tesla). I just made sure you can still see inside and you’re not driving recklessly to draw attention of cops.
Joy have you tried to open those packets with human hands instead of bear 🐻 hands? 😁
Good video. I’m glad Tesla made this process fairly easy.
You can't see the wiper blade being disconnected.
Hi Joy I recently placed an order for a Tesla after watching some videos about owning a Tesla living in an apartment
Question can I use your referral code to get 1000 miles? For when I get it ? Let me know thank you keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Clemente, if you have already placed an order then you cannot use my referral code. You can try talking to a sales associate and see if they could add my referral code in before you take delivery, or you can cancel the order and re-order through my referral link: ts.la/joy88451. Thank you so much!
@@TeslaJoy I went to talk to a worker at my nearest Tesla showroom, the referral code worked. Thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome! Thank you for using my referral code!
Is Kimblade currently the best option for Tesla Model 3 or is there any new blades worth looking at?
I think it’s the best right now. It’s been working great for me.
@@TeslaJoy I can't figure out which one to get or how to order it. Kimblade's store mentions an adapter, Amazon's calls it the "style", but when you use the Wiper Finder on kimblade's site it doesn't say which adapter/style is needed. It lists an "arm type" of t3n, but that's not one of the options when ordering. Any tips? :)
Does the kimblade raise the wiper arm? Tried other brands and they sit higher causing the wiper arms to raise up and the passenger side rubs the edge of the hood when it goes down to it's resting position.
It doesn’t.
Anyone have problems with the stock wipers leaving streaks? It gets scary at night when it rains because it is harder to see. Wonder if the blades are better.
I had that problem all the time. The Kimblade ones supposedly works better because it’s silicon and not rubber. The website also recommends that you don’t use water repellent products on windshield so wipers won’t skip.
Joy姐,你是华裔么?我是个英语初学者,我特别喜欢你的语速,适合学英语,我也是特斯拉的粉丝,但是现在我还没有实力去拥有它,谢谢你的视频,在满足我爱好的同时,轻松学英语!
Sister Joy, are you of Chinese descent? I am a beginner of English, and I really like your speed of speaking, which is suitable for learning English. I am also a fan of Tesla, but now I am not strong enough to own it. Thanks for your video, I can learn English easily while satisfying my hobby!By a way:yYou are very beautiful!
強哥你好! 很高興知道我的視頻能幫你學英語。希望你在未來不久的一天能夠擁有一台特斯拉!😊
they are too thick for the model y... they hit the hood
Did you try the recently released gen3 version?
I had the same issue with my model y.
Why don’t you just lift the wipers up so you can install it easier instead of having it laid on the windshield?
You can’t. That’s what windshield wiper mode is for.
@@TeslaJoy that’s so interesting the way they designed it
Girl never buy Windshield rain Grau reds again! Use use the same wax you put on your car on all your glass and it will act the very same on glass!
Actually putting wax on your glass will cause windshield wipers to skip. It’s not recommended.
