I have run Nittos and Toyos on several trucks, and a couple trailers, with good results. I did find that EXOs scalloped pretty bad and got noisy on my current Ram dually, but still got over 40K out of them with some life left. Bridgestone R500s are quiet as a mouse on the dually with 10K rotations.

@Jordan FitCarGuy We just got a pile of snow up here in Northern Wisconsin. I was able to go play around in the woods. So far, these tires are just as quiet as the stock tires. I got the 10ply E rated on a 2018 F150. I wish I would have went with the 6 ply P rated because these are some stiff tires. I'm still very pleased with my purchase. 8000 miles on them so far. I was surprised at how aggressive they look.

Left out some key details. The nomads, while the least aggressive, have the 3 peak mountain snowflake rating, which means besides actual dedicated snow tires these are the best out there for snow, better than the recons. The mud grapplers are softer and if you use at all for paved roads they wear quick. Its not as simple as least to most aggressive.

Subaru owner here. Can you compare the Nitto Nomad Grappler with the Falken Wildpeak Trail? In your Falken Wildpeak Trail review a couple years ago, you said at the time that you were not sure if it would take off. On TireRack, there are several hundred reviews on the Wildpeak Trails now. There is not a whole lot on the Nitto Nomad Grapplers. I will see snow, some dirt and mud, and a lot of highway. Got a ‘24 Subaru Crosstrek Limited on order and planning on doing an AT tire on day 1.

In my experience this is the list of best to worst over the last decade of off road/overland/highway driving. Including summer and real winter driving.
    1. Nitto Exo Grapplers. Best overall traction in just about anything. Mud, deep snow and even compact snow. Downfall: heavy, stiff and I lost 2mpg. Balanced perfectly. Pretty quiet.
    2. GY Duratrac. I would say it rivals the Exo in overall traction but only 2ply sidewall. Only downfall was I had two of the four take extra weight to balance. Pretty quite too. Lost 1mpg.
    3. Nitto G2. Respectable traction in most conditions, second best in my experience on compact snow and ice. The quietest AT Ive ever driven on. Balanced perfect. Maintained fuel economy from stock tires. Probably the best choice for most drivers realistically.
    4. BFG Ko2. Overall a very good performer and offers good overall traction. 3ply sidewall. Took a few extra ounces to balance but no real issues. Slight hum compared to other AT tires. Look great! Lost 1mpg. Not overly heavy.
    5. Firestone XT. Best AT for compact snow/ice traction. Actually very impressive winter traction, like hands down the best of the bunch. Soft and noisy cornering. They just dont offer confidence in the corners on dry roads, making your steering feel soft. Quiet.
    5. Falken at3w. These are a dead tie with the Firestones. Maybe even a tie with the ko2 as well. Very close. Good overall traction in most situations. Holds rocks! 3 peak snow traction and good on compact snow, ok on ice. Not great in mud. Heavy! These get very heavy as you step up in size. Decently quiet.
    5. Firestone MT2. A mud tire, so noisy and winter traction isnt ideal unless its deep powder or slush. You can expect 1-2mpg loss. Look great in my opinion, like a military style tire. Is basically best dedicated for an off road oriented vehicle, not a daily. These were oem on my Willys Gladiator couple years ago. 1 month they were off the truck.
Havent driven everything but hope this helps.
