@bern1223 nah. It's epic. It's what we always wanted to be as a kid (remember It's a child/teen game) while jojo posing-drawing from an imaginary duel disk and wearing costumes. I hoped so much the actual tcg got real anime connections (like putting characters in the tcg lore, like the anime characters put tcg cards lore in the characters' story) but sadly TCG progressively detached away from the anime (at least in the West) , making the game lose tons of appeal and charisma.
it's possible that the reason why this set is printed in US is because Konami is cutting costs on Speed Duel. All the previous sets were printed in Belgium, with multiple languages supported, which indicates more investment on Konami side. Also it's kinda frustrating that they are not confirming the future of Speed Duel, especially when they go and say this set is illegal in EU, and then basically add; "right now"
This release was skimped out and it shows. There are less cards in this compared to the other speed duel decks in this box size. The giant wedge of cardboard used to not be there. Not to mention the once great quality of the product dropped off, the cards feel thinner and closer to tcg quality. If the manufacturer switched to someone worse that makes sense for the quality of the is product - 2/5 🐸
I know that prior speed duels boxes has been manufactured in belgium(even for the US), and that the new manufacturer is stationed in the US. Its a Midterm box, so only 4 decks to shake up the meta for the new halve year.
@@AVAULT I wanted to buy that box but i wanted to make sure the cards that were in it cause i like Fossil Cards, now i think im gonna pass but i appreciated your video cause thats how i knew 👍🏽
@@ImPhaon I ordered from ebay. Found 2 sellers there were selling them for $15 a pop and went with the one who had a better user score or whatever you call it (1 had 99.9%, the other 98.8%). The others had significant markups, one optimist is even selling them (or trying to) for $30 a box.
Sad to say Yu-Gi-Oh is dead in my local community. And IF this set isn't seeing EU/UK releases, I am sad to say it looks like I'll be retiring for the 5th time.
At first glance I thought they were the same, but after taking a closer look I did realize quite a bit of off-centering, and chips on the surface of the cards. The extra layer of gloss also feels different. Overall, I would say its better than the normal stock quality compared to regular sets, but not as good as the previous Speed Duel sets.
The format was put down badly by Konami. If from the start they had immediately put competitive discussion and showing of matches as their stream fillers this could've gone differently.
Still can't believe it's not been released in Europe... Still importing it though but still not even legal for us to play it 😅.
Idk why the f Konami decided to do that…
im waiting to released in Europe it's been three months
Here in mexico we still have the chance to get speed duel boxes. I love the secret rares.
Never in my life did I think Arcana Force would get any kind of affection in the year of our Lord 2024
Seeing the main characters printed on the card is a little unsettling. Like Pegasus stealing Grandpa's soul and putting it in a card kind of vibe.

Cards look gorgeous. Can't wait til mine make it overseas.
They should have more actual events instead of just side events. So the game can be more played

Us in Europe got shafted 😢
Just as always, sadly
lucky you got it because i really wanted a secret rare of the world
Can somebody explain me why Is no "Fossil Fusion" in there?
I'm not sure to be honest. Maybe it might be too powerful or early to introduce?

what why arent we in europe getting this?
tcg is doodoo, rush and speed are peak. sucks they and fans dont give flowers it deserves
Smartest Speed duel player 🙄👍
It's probably a fun and easy casual mode, but sadly Konami has stopped printing this product in the rest of the world cuz it did not catch on.

Man, if only Arcana Force was actually a viable deck, which it's not...
What the hell?
Sadly the game went down hill after xyz summoning. Which is sad used to be such an awesome game
Ok...? Speed Duel is prema stuck on fusion so I'm not sure how that's relevant 🗿
