  • Back in April, at the Ignition Forum, we caught Fabrizia Zanca, SettleMint's VP of People, to discuss their efforts in the blockchain sector.
SettleMint is a blockchain transformation platform that allows enterprise companies to seamlessly integrate blockchain applications into their systems while empowering teams with the skills, knowledge, methodologies, guidance, and ongoing support they need. The company's clients are enterprises that understand the intrinsic benefits of blockchain technology very well.
“Basically, our platform helps web2 developers become web3 developers through the technology that we offer and the support and knowledge we provide,” Fabrizia explains.
In the interview, Fabrizia shares insights on how the perception of blockchain has evolved, especially in the wake of the cryptocurrency collapse a few years back. Nevertheless, the market potential is vast, with estimates suggesting a $3.1 trillion opportunity across various sectors globally. SettleMint's mission is to bridge the gap between the potential that companies see with the adoption of blockchain and their aspiration of using the technology - a divide they refer to as the "blockchain chasm."
SettleMint's efforts and achievements have not gone unnoticed. Their investors nominated and selected them to join the EIC Scaling Club, where they proudly represent Belgium. SettleMint is one of the companies selected for the Digital Security & Trust market group.
Fabrizia joined SettleMint a few years ago and describes her journey as “extraordinary.” She highlights the complexities and educational demands of the blockchain sector, but her main focus right now is on the challenges that come with scaling a company. At the Ignition Forum, Fabrizia's main interest was in topics on how to grow a company while avoiding the pitfalls of hypergrowth.
