Very nice work 👍🏻 Iv just discovered your channel it was the name that caught my eye , “bracket factory” absolutely brilliant! I was a little confused that the material was as sore on carbide insert tooling yet able to be cut on a presumably bi-metal bandsaw ? I’m no expert to be able to say 1 way or the other but a thought that came to me there too was if it may have been possible to aneel the parts prior to machining + welding and re heat treat them afterwards ? As I’m assuming the welding process has had an affect on the original heat treatment of the parts 🤔 great work love the bike
couldn't really change the hole size all that much as didn't want to get the weld too close to the centre .... but liberal use of cutting fluid did extend the life of the cutting tool!
I had the same problem with my 1951 C11 gearbox sprocket.....got one from British only Austria....bit dear but worth it.👍👍👍👍👍
I rode my dads 1954 c12 for a few years in the late sixties, damn, how I’d love to be still able to.
love what u have done, such a great work. 🎉
Thanks!
Well done. Was trying to think of something witty to say involving the word "sprocket", but nothing was forthcoming. Looking forward to Episode 4!
‘Left hand/Right hand thread….impact driver…’ Close call there. Nice work.
It was! the project scope would have increased massively if I'd mullered that that thread!
Very nice work 👍🏻

So with the exact science of hindsight a smaller hole would have used fewer lathe tools, and more angle grinder disks?

Nice work, pat yourself on the back!!
Mate you had to use an angle grinder! LOL
but I didn't use a hammer!!
I notice that the engine is a c11g
Has it Dave? I'm not expert on these bikes - how can you tell?
The engine number which is just under the barrel says c11g must have been made on the change over to the c12 and used up old engines.
I was looking to see if anyone had noticed! I watched twice before I saw it. Les
