    I've been to Cuba many times, the main thing to bring to Cuba is CASH. If you are an American, it is possible to receive a Western Union money transfer, ($500 max) but you have got to have someone on the other end who has two brain cells to put together and not send it to Cuba, Tennessee...which is what happened to me. Like Romina said, the best time of the year to go to Cuba is from November - March, after March it gets so stinking HOT you'll wish you've never seen Cuba! and yes, Cuba is a photographers paradise.

    • @redromina
      @redromina  5 лет назад +1

      yea, I wouldn't trust anyone to send me a Western Union if I got stuck ANYWHERE haha. yes, it gets soooo hot. thanks for watching!! 🖖

      Hahaha, well in the end, Western Union got it straightened out...last resort for being stranded in Cuba...can't wait to visit again, thanks for your videos! Good stuff

    Cuando yo fui a cuba en abril de el 2015 una de las cosas que me impresiono es que no habian mosquitoss,no se si habian fumigado esa temporada,el tiempo que estube ahi no vi uno,ni me pico ninguno,la gente anda con las puertas abiertas,y no vi insectos que molestaran,en west palm beach florida no puedes dejar las puertas abiertas en la noche porque entran muchos bichos,esos pesaos escarabajos negros o cucaracha negra,los insectos de la luz 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    The Presbyterian USA Church in Central Florida I go to helps out some small Presbyterian Church's in small towns in Central Cuba. We had 3 of the Pastors of those Church's come to our Church and one of them did the sermon in our Church twice (he spoke English). We have trips to Cuba in our Church led by our Pastor and are asked to donate and bring over the counter children's medicine because Cuba does not have them or are hard to come by. I have never been to Cuba but would love to go with the Church group someday.

    I would bring baby wipes or toilet paper. When i went, there was a lack of that and the ones available to buy if any were of bad quality. 😉

      Good idea! Though I’ve never encountered this myself. I’ve always had paper available to me. But it’s a good idea to bring any kind of wipes no matter where you go!

    Romina- Love your videos. Watch them all. Getting ready to go on a family trip to Cuba around new years. 1st generation Cuban Americans from South Florida and visiting my families old stomping grounds. Question: Any tips with what to do or not do around the policia nacional in Cuba. Do you recommend bringing our cell phones or leave them at home? What about bringing supplies for family members. What is most needed? Got 100 other questions. But, one at a time. 😉🇺🇸😄🇨🇺

      Around the Cuban Gestapo smile and don't say anything bad about their corrupt government. Do not take any pictures of the police officers or the military. If you do not want to take a camera a cell phone is a good alternative. When it comes to Cuba, ask what is not needed instead of what is needed, the answer is usually short and sweet... they need every item that you can afford to bring them... they do not have much of anything in the island.

      Check out some of my other videos about Cuba. They might answer some of your questions. I always bring my cell phone everywhere because that's how I am. I never know when an emergency will arise. I would suggest you contact your family and ask them what they would like.
