i was suprised the prices were so low, i detail boats and we charge 12-20USD/ft!
Holy crap yeah, 50 quid is about 66 us, and that's like a fancy high end wash at a gas station not anywhere near as thorough as this guy though. I'm surprised at the guy who walked by and was like that's too expensive.
I was shocked too. Over here in Germany you won´t get anything below 80 or 90 Euro and that is the cheapest and its done at Gas Stations.
Very cheap indeed. I have to pay 30 Euros to get an in and out wash at the gasstation which is pretty good but no where near as good as this. Plus this requires my time to travel to get there and pay for the gas. This guy comes to your house and cleans it with a small brush. Could easily ask 20 pounds more for this. Great work.
I think it's really smart how u move the car slightly so u can get another angle on the wheels. Every time I detail my car's wheels, I can be there for a 1hr and a half and I would still somehow miss a spot. I'm definitely implementing this when I wash my cars.

Not gonna lie, when I saw how thoroughly he was cleaning the first tire (used at least 3 different brushes) I was certain the prices started at €100+ ,can't believe it's half of that
And if he would have used a fourth brush the cleaning would have a price range for 500dollas. So this was a good deal!

That prices is surprisingly low.. where I live it's at least twice that. I'm really impressed by their workmanship and attention to detail! Carpet extractions, polishing, waxing and other coatings would be great upsells!

same, where I live and complete interieur clean is around 50-100€ and exterieur is 100 €. So 150-200 € depending on the car for all, and even that is ok imo

Off course the car shampoo u flush down the sewer doesn’t harm the environment and is bio degradable. In the Netherlands in a lot of villages and cities you are not allowed to wash your car on the streets anymore. And I respect that. This owner is obviously to spoiled and lazy to drive to your location where you could create, or have a facility where you can collect the water and recycle it.

£60 for in and out with this attention to detail is a bargain (if the same attention to detail is applied to all cars, not only to those on the videos haha).
Belgravia Garage car wash, the only local car wash charges now £30 for in and out "scratch and wax" service. I mean, the guys working there are great but the management go for quantity over quality.

When I was in university we did a study on biodegradable laundry detergent and found that while it did degrade naturally, it still takes longer to degrade than do damage.
That's one of the most thoroughest car wash in and out I've seen without going into a full-blown detail and you got to do it right then and there on the street good deal

All i can say is that £60 is a bargain considering you drive to the client, your chemicals, pads, brushes, cloths etc etc along with yearly/monthly costs of running your van in London. The work you guys put in and the finish in your detailing was way above what some detailers out there achieve especially as stated above....The cost. You guys will go far and all the best.

Great job. The very toughest part of a mobile detailer's is working in direct sun...my hat's off to you sir. Using great products, equipment and technique like you do are an absolute must to avoid damage. I live in Florida where you can't even touch the paint in the summer sun. Evening washes in shade is my only possible option.

Same here.. you couldn't dream of washing a car in the Aussie Sun either. It's far too harsh. Admittedly it's nowhere near as bad in the UK
Its a pain in the ass. If one of my clients dont have a shaded area i have to lug this big awkward tent with me and set it up by myself. Then have to adjust it as the sun is moving.
It is the same in Cyprus, you don't even want to be under the sun in the summer, forget cleaning a car

When drying the vehicle- I use the pad down and lift off technique. No rubbing around to prevent smear marks, circles etc etc.
He uses purified water so it doesn't leave marks

Well done! But two things look weird to me: Are you allowed to park the car in the middle of the street? Wash a car in the sun results in a mess of unsightly spots and streaks, I think you should provide some kind of portable cover to increase the results and protect the paint.

You take alot of care and pride in your detailing and it shows! London reminds me of living in Germany and loved it there, it is also a beautiful country! Both are beautiful works of car engineering but I would prefer the Bentley because of the luxury and it doesn't lack in horsepower even though it's not Ferrari power!

exactly.. 50-60 euros where I live is what a car detailing shop takes to detail your VW Golf ! if it's a Mercedes probably double that... so I can't imagine what would they charge for a Bentley or a Ferrari, that guy is solid honest and even though he knows that money means nothing to those wealthy car owners, he does not rip them off

There is no bad advice as it befalls on my opinion. It's what I'd like to see added.
As a fellow detailer I personally prefer the Bentley... its more practical for every day use and with less seams/vents and awkward angles it's an easier car to clean.. also being mostly silver the paint will be harder wearing than the black ferrari so it will show less wear and tear

I’ve been to London once and I loved it man. People were super down to earth and were amazed with my southern accent 🤣🤣🤣 The pubs had some damn good food and beer. Only thing I couldn’t get used to was driving on the opposite side of the road. (International license) but great city

I love the attention to detail you have, this is very much respected by high class people. A standard cheap wash (less than £20) would have never use soft brushes on my logos and silver parts, I would agree on up to £30 for such detailed wash stationary and especially in London £50 for a remote wash with such detail is not expensive, especially if you own a decent car. Also the biodegradable cleaning agents means that they are less corrosive than chemicals used in cheaper wash.

Good honest hard working young man. You do good work, and you make it extremely convenient for the customer. It seems to me that you're drastically undercharging for your service. You have to cover all your costs, such as your vehicle, licenses, gas, maintenance, insurance, liability insurance, taxes, payroll, deductions, cleaning supplies, maintenance of your cleaning equipment, and so on. The people you are providing this service to can easily afford to pay way more than your current price.
I remember what it was like as a young businessman starting out, and how I was afraid to charge too much and lose the business. Do yourself a favour and charge more, and you'll see business actually go up. Good luck to you, I wish you all the success you're working for.
It’s criminal that you’re only charging 50-60 pounds. In the US (Washington DC area), mobile car detailing goes from $150 for a basic package and over $450 for more extensive cleaning

Imagine you are washing expensive cars and this kind of care is a bargain!! Normal car wash 150-200 should be ok for supercar owners.
I agree you should charge much more for this service. At least 120 quid in my opinion. This is not an everyday clean, and the attention to detail and cars on which you are working warrants it. I'm sure if you were to damage even a knob on these cars you would be paying far more than the price of the car wash.

Crazy part is that here in the US we spend $90-120 for a good exterior detail. Last in/out was almost $300 for me, small 4 door car.
in germany for 200 euro u get a full clean including seats interio roof under the hood is a wash that u do to a car before sale ... :D
£60 for a convenient mobile, excellent, high-quality clean is a bargain! If the owner has time to drive to a car wash for 1 hour to save £20-30 then that says a lot about how they value their own time.
I am shocked how there are people who find 50 pounds expensive, it is incredible with the work that it takes to leave a car impeccable as you leave it. I love the Ferrari Tributo, it's a beauty and it looks incredible. Tino, you must use sunscreen in such an intense sun, you look tanned from being in the sun.

Yeah, I was quoted over £100 for an entry level valet on a 3-Series AND I had to provide water and power if I wanted that price! My local drive-thru no-frills car wash charges £55 for their valet! My home is worth less than that Ferrari! Maybe he can charge less because the frequency of washes is higher that a normal person just getting it done once to sell their car or something?

I'd say for the level of detail you did on the Ferarri you should charge more. Considering we pay 30€ here in Germany for a in/out clean in a washing centre, 50-60£ is a bargain! Once a year I get a similar service, and it's 120€
For whatever reason, the blue foam is very satisfying to look at 😀
Don't try this in Germany. It would mean a hefty fine for discharging untreated wastewater into the public sewers. If you do this on "soft" ground, where the wastewater could seep into and contaminate it, the fines can go up as high as 100.000 €.

Yes, it’s very cheap, sometimes we can wash ourselves, just like a brown bear bathing ourselves

In germany you cant wash a car outside on the road
When you would clean a car on the road you would get a very high bill from the goverment
Same here in the netherlands. You can use water, but not shampoo or other cleaning products

To answer your question, I prefer the Bentley. I have owned 3. They are by no means perfect and each one had irritating issues. But that is to be expected on something hand built. My sister in law has a Bentley Conti convertible and her husband a Rolls. They too have little issues but there is no point in being annoyed; that just detracts from the fun of driving them.
This is cool stuff, man. Go on washing these million dollar or pound machines on London roads. I hope I have seen you in action in London when I was there. Thanks for posting. In my humble opinion, you may charge more for these machines.
Charge 50-60 pound for in and outside detail cleaning is not much! You could charge more...on the other hand, I guess the price is set to be thus attractive to rule out any competition and be able to gain and maintain a list of cliënts!

I'm sure these chemicals are rated to not damage the environment but consider placing the car on a pad that encloses all the liquid and you can easily haul it away.
It's crazy that you can just wash cars on the side of the road in London. This is forbidden in Germany, where you are usually not even allowed to wash your car in your own driveway. This is only allowed at washing areas with an oil separator.

Probably he's not allowed (nor to drive on the bus lane...) but people get away with these things sometimes. Besides the owner of the vehicle behind the ferrari might not be so happy to find his/her car stained with the blue foam.
You can wash that foam off completely. I won't agree that in Germany is illegal to wash your car on driveway, I have seen lots of cars been washed like Tino does

Having watched the time and effort put into it, how can anyone be upset at the price? You've travelled there, with your equipment in central london and done an amazing clean inside and out. £50 is asking too little.

You can get fined for doing that without permission from the council. Workmen have to get a permit to block any part of the road, but for car washing they would likely deny it.

quick tip for when you do a prewash (blue foam). Always start from the bottom parts and then go to the roof and bonnets. This way you create a curtain effect that lifts the dirt and pulls it down.

In Miami, some car washes can go as heavy as $250! Especially so for exotics... it comes full wax and whatnot, but 60 pounds seems inexpensive! Honest, great work, and for an honest price. Good lad.
What is your blue foam made of? What is the biodegradability of it? Curious given your on street service means that it ends up in the regular sewer.

Yeah same, pretty sure you would never be allowed to do this in many countries no matter if it's bio degradable or not.
Blue snow is actually loaded with diethanolamide, Isopropyl Alcohol, Sulphonic acid, and Benzene. Really quite toxic.
