Oh, surprise, surprise. Referee report from Head of RFU Referees (Paul Hull) admits it was a forward pass, and that a “tech error” stopped the right angles being shown to TMO before the restart.

99% of games there are errors by the officials. First Tigers points (not shown here) came from a penalty that should have gone Quins' way. There were 1 or 2 other decisions in Tigers' favor that I thought were wrong.

@@Jeffisawesome536 First, I don't remember exactly because I don't put so much weight on ref's mistakes. Second, you can't know whether Tigers would have scored their last try if Quins' try had been disallowed. Third, Ben Youngs kicked Tigers' possession to touch so he probably didn't think they should have won (imo the draw was a fair result for both teams' efforts). Fourth, despite using the word "respectfully", it's not really respectful to say "go on" but then "end of" in the same comment.

Plus kata was very very lucky to stay on the pitch on a different weekend that could be red.

The replacement No 9 for quins threw the game away in the last 2 mins. A short box kick back to Tigers saying here's the ball come and attack us with it. They duly did. Why on earth it was not banged down field under the Tigers post I will never know Seems to be a trend now in the modern game. Box kick so opposition can have the ball back to attack you with. Use the 10 or 15 put some wellie on it
