The rubber bung on the pedal stack NEVER stays in place! And even less so once you’ve sensibly applied a light smearing of grease to detachable pedal’s hex connector. It pops out almost immediately after pressing it in. Brompton seriously needs to change the design to a rubber cap that fits OVER, rather than inside the pedal storage stack. I recently upgraded to the Super Light pedals which are a massive improvement over the standard folding type which come with the C-Line. I just wish they’d figured out a better rubber cap to prevent mud and gunk getting into the storage stack behind the forks. 🤷♂️
@ Yep, like most things on a Brompton, they definitely ain’t cheap, but they are seriously well made and should provide many years of trouble free peddling. Each Super Light pedal is milled from of a single piece of anodised aluminium, they feel and look extremely high quality. 👍

@HenryWilkinson-c5n i saw the price : Was 42 Euros a few weeks ago. Now it is 99 Euros. WtF ? Way to much for plastic stuff.
