    They should be out of business, and the reason why i say this is because they've lost the real reason why they are even open for business. This is unacceptable!!! Thanks for sharing really appreciate it. You actually save alot of people from this nightmare.

    As a former employee at the Ministry of Health (MOH), I think our health inspectors should check out this hotel in their parish. This is just horrible and upsetting.

    We were supposed to get married there but cancelled due to issues such as yours. Had a horrible experience as well. They didn’t want to give us back our wedding deposit so we ended up switching resorts . The management sucks

      The same for my cousin, they didn't reimburse her money back which is terrible! I am sorry that you had to endure this

    Hi. I'm back lol and i will forever back your review about this place until they improve. The experience with your dad was the SAME experience i had with my mom. Same convo EVERYTHING lol. Pretending to care ... i will not share how she eventually got good food up there lol ... I'm so sorry you went thru food poisoning ... but i'm glad you were able to share! watching the videos of the room gave me a grossly uncomfortable flashback as well lol ... we should always do our research before booking somewhere for real... this video will be a good point of reference for someone one day.

    Has a former worker there room service food don’t cook at Martha’s market and yes I now work at riu hotel and it’s the same no take out of food is allowed either

      We did try to be unbiased but there were too many red flags and things that just weren't going well

      We totally respect your opinion, we actually paid great money for a stay where we felt as if we were left hanging. It hurts to ask a hotel of this magnitude for a simple tissue and wasn't given one. This video wasn't made to tear down the resort but just to give our personal experience. And to be honest we didn't even go deep in our experience as we saw way worse than what we mentioned. So clearly it's not intended in a malicious way but just sharing our experience so others can make an informed decision. Much love to you and we appreciate you always! ❤️

      I believe you need to read and listen to the finer details of the video....this one is a part 2 of the first one from their 1st and only visit 7 months ago. Don't knock it until you get the facts. So they didn't go back for likes as you said. The information given in this video is from the 7 months ago visit.

      Ocean Coral Spring is the only hotel my family visit during the summer months in the last 2 yrs; and we have been to quite a number of other resorts in Jamaica.
      I personally have been there four times, so I've made lots of connections with staff. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
      We were there during hurricane Beryl and the staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable.
      I've ate at almost all the restaurants and I've had some great choices there. There were times when I didn't like certain choices at the buffet, so I went to the other restaurants. I personally enjoy eating at the privilege restaurants, red snapper and sugar cane. There are other restaurants that have great feedback from other family members.
      We have never experienced any insects (roach) in our rooms and the rooms are always clean. The only time we've ever ran out of toilet paper and had to ask more than once, was the day Beryl hit. They were operating on a skeleton staff for a few days due to hurricane. Many of the staff were unable to make it to work. The hotel slowly came back to normal after 3 to 4 days after Beryl hit. Mi not taking up for OCS! Mi a tell the truth.
      The AC on a couple building stopped working for a couple days, but it was repaired. We slept with the ceilings fans and opened the doors to let in fresh air.
      I'm sorry your father-in-law fell ill and you weren't allowed to take the food to your room. I know for sure that's the rule. No plates / cutlery allowed out of the restaurants, unless you hide it under a cloth napkin.
      Last year my mom fell ill when we got off the plane, before getting to the hotel and we ordered room service for a couple days for her until she was well enough to go the restaurants. However, I think the supervisor on duty should have send for paper plates from one of the other restaurants, once you explained the situation.
      My yute, Is which beach u did guh? We absolutely love the beach. If u even experience feeling pebbles when u just enter the water, the rest is pure sand. Nothing nuh warm like that water. The best!
      The building is not old. OCS was built before Covid and was left empty for a bit before they renovated it and got it up and running. The floors I've been on seems sound and I've never heard 1 guest complained. But here this, I'm not an engineer so I honestly couldn't tell you that it's not safe. I don't think they would put our lives at risk and not making sure the building is safe.
      To be honest, I'm yet to experience what you've experienced. I personally would recommend Ocean Coral Spring to anyone who would like to visit it. Don't allow 1 person's experience to turn you off . What they experienced does not reflect Ocean Coral Spring's general/ overall experience.
