Your hair looks lovely today x And for anyone who has perioral dermatitis I got rid of mine by stopping using a chemical spf and changing to a mineral spf.
Thank god for you Nadine, you simplify skincare so everyone can understand it, no bullshit, just great advice. I’ve learnt so much from you and I trust you completely. I use all your recommendations and at 59 so many people complement me on my skin. Thank you sooooo much, you are amazing 💕

Been using prescription Tretinoin for donkeys years and agree with you that one of THE best thing to use underneath is Niacinomide It’s a brilliant facilitator of Retinols And I’ve tried lots of different things over the years ..... I also pop some Cerave moisturiser on just before bed to buffer .... Another great tip is Vaseline under the eyes and around nostrils acting as a barrier because the retinol likes to travel lol 😂
Hey thanks NB. I thought I already knew alot about skincare, but I still learned a few things here. I love your delivery and information and welcome more of these! Thanks for doing them here. I'll go to IG and get the other vids. x
Hi yes my retinol irritates my neck but it’s fine just leave it for a couple of days then moisturiser for a couple of days then I start again once my skin is happy again , stay safe everyone my love and chin up liz x
Thank you Nadine for letting me feel OK not using a SPF. I rely on my moisturizer and foundation for my SPF but always feel like I"m risking damage to my skin. Thanks for all the additional informaiton. Need to go back and look at all the live IGs on your IGTV.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you tell me what to use now, I've been using medik8 crystal 10, can I step up from this without a prescription???? Love you! X
Brilliant and thank you, Nadine. I would like your recommendation for the best cream, treatment, etc. for sagging skin. You're an inspiration and look wonderful.

Hi Nadine, great to see you again. What I love about your channel is .. you explain everything in such depth ( not saying I understand ever but I appreciate that ) thank you 😊
That Diprobase at the 12 minute plus mark is fricking amazing. Nadine mentioned it in a sponsored video which I have to confess I hate her doing to my shame BUT it’s the only niacinamide cream I’ve ever been able to get my skin to tolerate as I’m the small percent that is sensitive to it. It never breaks me out. Feel so comfortable.
it's the best - I am using it all over in lockdown x ps just 'cause it's an ad it doesn't mean it's not brilliant - I only work with brands and products I genuinely love
This is so helpful thank you! Could you please do a piece on what to use with what? Can we use acids and retinol together? And does that apply to all acids? Thanks in advance! Xxx
I definitely wouldn't rely on just an spf in moisturiser it's not enough. You need to use a separate broad spectrum spf on top of moisturiser. La roche posay is amazing.
Nadine calls them hand cream haha and teaches us the difference between humectants, occlusives etc. Elements of moisturiser. She doesn’t like the fact these two are perfumed and largely thick creams. She’s more a fan of Hyaluronic acid serums.
Thank you for another great video Nadine! Wanted to know your thoughts on reducing water temperature in the shower to combat dry skin issues. While super hot showers may feel wonderful, are they making dry skin issues worse?
Fantastic video! So much needed information! Thank you Nadine. Do you recommend medical grade products? I do believe the Osmosis AC11 has diminished my broken capillary. But not so sold on stem cells and brightening products. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Hope you have a wonderful day 🌸
Hello Nadine, appreciate your work! Advice please on deep and obvious man pores, what do you recommend? I've tried a lot... Depressing and expensive. Stay gorgeous (and healthy) x
The only reason why I keep using a separate eye cream is that I am on Tretinoin and wouldn´t dare to put that near the eyes, so I have an eye cream with retinol.
Great vlog thank you. Question please. What serums would you recommend for open pores? I cannot use foundation because they are so open most of the day. Thank you 😊
My forearms are very crepey from the sun. What should I use to help? I use spf and I am also using "sleeves" this year as well but is there anything to help address the damage already done?
Fab video as always 😍 please can I ask what is a good starter serum/active for a pm skincare routine? Should have started well before now as I’m 46 😆 but better late than never!! Thanks xx
Sarah Beresford Clinique do a vitamin c and retinol 7 day thing. They’re basically little bottles so you can see how you get on with them over a week. I got them and they lasted much longer than 7 days. I was pleasantly surprised with their Vitamin C. The retinol I didn’t notice a difference with but it was handy to know that my skin must have a good tolerance to it so I can now buy a stronger one. So yeah, I would start with a weak Vitamin C or retinol.
I've recently bought the PC 1% retinol and intend to start using it tonight. Thanks for the tip about the niacinamide; will keep that to hand just in case. I used a small tube of the Drunk Elephant retinol (also 1%) last year without any peeling, so fingers crossed ... Good video as ever.
Please do more of these. Would love to hear you talking about rosacea. I only have it v mildly - just a bit of redness - but never quite sure if it's ok to use retinol, acids etc. The only one I know is good for rosacea is Azelaic Acid cos Dr Sam said so!! Emma x PS I also have a broken blood capillary under the eye bag area that I'm not sure how to deal with or whether to avoid putting active nr it. Thanks!
keepfitgirl tranexamic acid is great for rosacea. You should be able to use retinoids and acids if u build up to them. U just need to start small and gentle and find the right formulations for ur skin. Stay away from any fragrance!!
The Caffeine Inkey List is straight up caustic. IMHO I had a burn under my eyes and down onto my cheek. It wouldn’t wash off and when it did it took tissue with it. Think of scotch tape adhesive. Patch test people.
Hello dear Nadine. Very well explained as usual. Thank you for this and thanks for replying to my insta questions too. You are a star. Best wishes, Neil.
I use Rozex cream for rosacea and never know if it should be applied directly after cleansing, and if so, whether I can apply anything else’s on top of it. What is your application routine when you use it for your peri oral dermatitis Nadine? Maureen
I just saw on your video that caffeine addresses under eye shadows and swelling. That's super exciting! Is there anything else you recommend for that? Lastly, what do you recommend for enlarged pores?
Hi! The Ordinary says no to mixing peptides with direct acids- what about LAA? I find it SO hard to include peptides and niacinamide and vitamin C and acids when they have conflict warnings! Help!
meesa magill Just seems there’s not enough days in the week sometimes to use all the actives we’re told to use but also avoid conflicts. Others must find this??
Great to hear the advice am I too late , i'm 58 and lines above lips are showing, is there anything I can use the Works to hides, cure them, without a bottox etc, many thanks
Eye cream, spf, anti-oxidants, possibly caffeine eye cream for a temporary smoothing effect. Fillers after lockdown if they really bother you. Ooh, and if your lipstick is feathering a lipliner- can get a clear one ❤️ Please don’t let it bother you, smile and they all vanish❤️ with love
Tretinoin and glycolic acid! Start with once a week on separate days and work up to every other day for example one night tret and the next night glycolic and so on. Exfoliation will be your best bet in helping to cure the lines. If you can start professional chemical peels I have seen aged skin transformed from chemical peels. They really tighten everything up but u need to commit to doing a series of them it’s not one and it’s gone. Anything I do now will take time but it is possible to tame them down and make them less prominent. Hope this helps!
At 65 years old which would be better for a reasonably good skin, ceramides, hyraulonic, rsveratrol or peptides in my moisturiser? I have used Elisabeth Arden Ceramide cream, lancome Hydra Zen, and currently using Caudalie rsveratrol cashmere cream. They are all very nice but I just wondered because I never notice a dramatic difference when I change from one to another. 💐💐
...and another question: based on the email you sent in response to a previous question, I have ordered a Glo Pro. EEEE!, I'm so excited! What products (serums) should I get to use for when it arrives? I have oily skin, enlarged pores, dark/ under/inner eye beside nose and, dark/red spots from a recent infection that presented on my face via pus-filled blemishes. Thank you!
Hi Nadine - amazing video as always! Could you be kind enough to remind us again what would be the best way to zap those pesky sun damage spots - I sadly have few of those on my face now ( I am 41) and some on my décolleté as well. Many thanks x
Hi Nadine, very informative as always. At 56, I’m a newbie to actives, (tut, tut!) and was wondering if you continue with your normal routine on holiday, especially in hot climates? Although I plan to protect my face more than I have previously, just wondering as undoubtably I will catch the sun a little. Thanks.
judithlawley i say keep using your actives but don’t just rely on sunscreen. Stay out of direct sun as much as possible. Wear hats, sun glasses etc. physically protect ur skin from the sun and reapply spf as much as possible and ur fine to continue your routine.
Hi Nadine. Can you explain what spf to apply during a day out when you want to wear make up. I put 50 on in the morning and don’t want to have to remove make up to reapply. I’m in the U.K. Thanks so much. X.
Very helpful as always, thank you. For the same reasons mentioned in your video I’m looking at getting The Inkey List Tranexemic overnight and C-50, but I already use a retinol (3x pw - I’m 31) and Paula’s Choice salicylic acid in the morning. Would you still recommend the vit c in the evening and tranexemic in the morning? X
Rebecca Hill Because the C-50 has salicylic acid in it I would stop using Paula’s Choice salicylic acid while using it or getting the Skinceuticals Vitamin C or another Vitamin C from another brand that doesn’t have salicylic acid in. Don’t quote me but I don’t think you should use vitamin c and retinol at the same time, its usually retinol at night and vitamin C in the morning. As the inkey list one is designed to use at night, maybe you could just use it on nights you don’t use retinol or use it every night and use the retinol in the morning. Hope you don’t mind me answering a question directed to Nadine. Just thought, a stranger’s answer is better than no answer ☺️ x
Hiya Nadine, i have very awkward skin. I have had eczema since i was a baby and was given Betnavate which thinned my skin. I had acne as a teenager and ended up on a course of roaccutune. I am now 43yrs. I dread to think what i have spent over the years on skincare. My problem is, if i use stuff for spots on my face, i get eczema, if i use stuff for dry skin i get spots. I currently use Avene as its non comedogenic but as i am getting older i would appreciate your advice. I have alot of thread veins on my face but they get worse if i use Roscea stuff? Thankyou xxx
Hi Nadine, I am 43 and I have pretty good skin, not many lines and quite even toned. I have combination oily skin and I use a nicinamide and hyaluronic acid underneath bare minerals skinlongevity spf 30 moisturiser with a spf 25 or 30 foundation over the top. Do I need to use a proper spf in place of my moisturiser and if so what do you recommend for oily combination 43 year old skin? Thank you for all of your honest opinions on here x
More "Ask me Anything" ... Please review options to help minimize enlarged pores on the nose. In my 40's-a regular RX Retin-A user, trying a salicylic acid gel (Your Good Skin). Thank you for all the fabulous content during quarantine!!
I just started using OTC Differin 3 times a week for anti-aging. I combine Differin with my moisturizer and I get major breakouts on my chin. Am I purging or am I too sensitive for the Differin? Thank you
Hi Nadine. What do I ask from my GP for retinol? Tretinoin? I think they might consider giving to me because I have been under dermatology for hyperpigmentation. Is this what I need to help with my pigmentation? Using it all over the skin with a night cream to buffer it? I am also using vit C at night. Wouldn’t use it at the same time obviously. Thanks x
I’m using the granactive retinol in squalane from the ordinary, and my skin is not sensitive and oily. What do you recommend I use instead? I’d like to stay with the Ordinary as it’s what I can afford at the moment
Glad you mentioned Retinol - picked up some 0.3% Pure Retinol from SkinChemists in TK Maxx then wondered if I’d been an idiot & if it was if any use at all but I’m a first timer with Retinol. Phew!
Large scars. I know you did a scar video but my scar is over a year old.... I had open heart surgery so the scar is about 8-10 inches down my chest. I didn’t think I minded it until recently... anything I can do about now?? It also seems to break out from time to time. Ty!
I would like your opinion on when to move up to a stronger Retin A. My skin has not tolerated any type of Tretinoin. I am now using the Olay 24 Retinol. My skin still peels but it is manageable. I tried Curology with Niacinamide 4%.. Tretinoin 0.2% and Tranexamic Acid 2%. I was using it every third night and my face still fell off. It was constantly peeling even after I stopped it. It peeled to the point of being painful in some areas.I did use products to heal my barrier function. I am 67 and feel like I don't have a lot of time for my skin to look better! Love your channel and when Jo is on you two keep me laughing! Thanks for any help and stay well! Love from Florida.
Janet Marceau try using it once every two weeks and build up to adding more days of ur having peeling u have to pull back. If u stick to it and listen to ur skin and skip days while u are peeling consistency will get ur skin used to it. Start with once a month if u have to! After u wash ur face moisturize then wait 15 mins for ur face/skin to totally dry then apply the retinoid. This will help u peel less as well.
When you said you use a moisturizer with SPF 30 it caught my attention. Would you mind sharing the brand that you use for that? I so appreciate the information that you provide. It seems reasonable and real world applicable. Many blessings and stay safe and healthy :-)
Hi Nadine, love your videos, learning so much. Have to mention that I regret not using sunblock on my lower arms and hands. A woman’s age shows first on the hands. Botoxed and filler face but wrinkly old hands. Major throw off. Advise your viewers....use sunblock on hands...always.
You could see a dermatologist privately instead of going through your GP and get it without having a skin condition. You can basically get anything if you’re willing to pay ☺️ c
No. You're only getting SPF15. You need SPF 50+. SPF isn't accumalative 😎🖤 Also, you need a dedicated SPF as you need to use half a teaspoon (2.5ml) of SPF to the face, which you will never achieve with a moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, foundation or other base.
I never really started to see aging til after 53....

As the inkey list one is designed to use at night, maybe you could just use it on nights you don’t use retinol or use it every night and use the retinol in the morning. Hope you don’t mind me answering a question directed to Nadine. Just thought, a stranger’s answer is better than no answer ☺️ x
Hi which overnight peel do you use? Thanks x
love the youtubes, but cannot get your igtv !!!!
Just Thank you Nadine
Nadine you look amazing for your age!! Where do you buy your Retin A from please? I bought my last lot from Spain but can’t get it now 😢😢 thank you xx
Susan Webb she absolutely can Susan, and she does 👍🏻
Hi Nadine, I am 43 and I have pretty good skin, not many lines and quite even toned.

Please review options to help minimize enlarged pores on the nose. In my 40's-a regular RX Retin-A user, trying a salicylic acid gel (Your Good Skin). Thank you for all the fabulous content during quarantine!!
Niacinamide!
I just started using OTC Differin 3 times a week for anti-aging. I combine Differin with my moisturizer and I get major breakouts on my chin. Am I purging or am I too sensitive for the Differin? Thank you
Hi Nadine, what retinol do you use/recommend for the whole eye area please (not silly money though, I'm on a measly nhs wage, haha). xx
Skin looking fab Nadine. ☺️
Thanks x
Hi Nadine, can Tranexamic Acid be used together with retinol or tret? (I am using 0.025% from dermatica) 🙂
I was able to add Sunday Riley’s Lactic Acid to my Ipsy bag for $18 , can’t wait for it to arrive .
Where do you get your microfiber face cloths?
I’m using the granactive retinol in squalane from the ordinary, and my skin is not sensitive and oily. What do you recommend I use instead? I’d like to stay with the Ordinary as it’s what I can afford at the moment
try The Ordinary 0.5% retinol X
Glad you mentioned Retinol - picked up some 0.3% Pure Retinol from SkinChemists in TK Maxx then wondered if I’d been an idiot & if it was if any use at all but I’m a first timer with Retinol. Phew!
Great info thanks Nadine
I’m 58and was a sun Goddess!! Please do a Facebook live?!!
Hi Nadine, do you have to have a skin condition to get prescription strength retinol? Thanks
In the UK. Yes you do. It's prescribed for chronic and/or extensive acne only 😎🖤
You could see a dermatologist privately instead of going through your GP and get it without having a skin condition. You can basically get anything if you’re willing to pay ☺️ c
I use Superdrug Vit E moisturiser SP15 under No 7 tinted moisturiser SP15. Is that enough protection?
No. You're only getting SPF15. You need SPF 50+.
SPF isn't accumalative 😎🖤
Also, you need a dedicated SPF as you need to use half a teaspoon (2.5ml) of SPF to the face, which you will never achieve with a moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, foundation or other base.
Hi Nadine can you do hand cream review 🌹🌹🌹🌹
How many times did I rewind this 😍sort BS with Nadine 😂Love out FB group xxxx
