This is a huge heavy weight contender for a full featured, all-in-one digital mixer. And for >$2,000 it's a no brainer. Nice work A&H!
I would buy this in a heartbeat if you guys supported Windows and Android. This product has been out for a year and still no DAW control drivers for PC?
Yep. Almost every company is like that, building their boards, amps etc for apple compatability and forgeting about everyone else completely. Personally i try to stay away from apple products. If they want to really sell their stuff they will make it compatable across the board for all devices. Seems like a pretty simple stradegy to me. And that would give them a HUGE edge on the market.
Do we have ipad/android or Windows app to control the Allen & Heath Qu-16C wireless remotely?
2:17 - that's what I wanted to know....
Behringer X32 awesome
can you PLEASE get the recording up to 24/96, even if we have to set back to 8 tracks? that should be doable in firmware updates. also, with a adat 16 channel expansion (does it have adat?) it would be nice to have a shift button on the faders/channel select.
Does it work with the new M1 Mac
do the effects send through usb to daw?
Is it compatible with Ableton?
what is the price of thee qu24 and all the accampaned components
Why are most channels maxing out???
is this a good dj mixer?
The guy said usb to mac, so is it not for pc?
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately USB streaming is compatible with Mac only, PC is not supported.
I didn't see any Aux sends on the back?
On this unit the assignable mix outputs serve as the Aux send & returns.
@@fullcompass how does a mix send with xlr work as a aux sen and return? Never seen that before.
@@fullcompasshow many mix outputs does this have ?
what is st3 in?
I've watched 3 videos on this now. still don't know how to assign a graphic eq to a mix output. lol.
+snapascrew you press the mix 1 button or mix 2 or 3.....depends on which one you need. So you select your mix and after you press the GEQ button. Also you can do the same to your LR Outputs by pressing the LR button then pressing the GEQ button. It is as easy as it looks
What are exactly the uses of it besides DAW control?
Why do I even need a hardware mixer if I have my mixer in pro tools?
Is it all about pushing faders and etc instead of doing this with mouse clicks?
Hi Melo. The Allen and Heath QU-16 is a complete digital mixer. Although it has the capability to control most DAWs it also has analog mic preamps, output routing, and built in digital signal processing. Thanks for your question. I hope this helps.
Does it offer multi-track recording and midi sequencing? I am trying to look for a hardware DAW that keeps me away from a computer screen. I will use software DAW for a final mixing/mastering. I wonder why there is a network LAN? lol ... Can I access it using a web based interface? :)
can we connect condenser mic, does it have phanthom power ?? pls reply
+Vairamuthu Ramanathan Yes, it does.
+Eddy Deegan thanks mate !!
ok a question is usb I/o or no for audio????
Hi! USB is for multi-track recording and playback.
***** hummm I know there is one on the front which is for recording but what about at the back of console
DAMANJIT SINGH PUNNI
The USB-B jack on the back of the mixer is the USB interface. The USB-A jack on the control surface is for direct recording and playback.
what is the price for qu24
$1699.00
Did the man really say "So what Q16 IS, is Q16 is a..." - Why do people lead with what something is then start the sentence over again to state what it is? Has anyone else noticed this trend online? A worsening plague of zombie doublespeak - I can practically hear Orwell facepalming from the other side O_o
Looked like 3 stereo (paired left, right) mix outputs not 2.
