Sounds like a great cook set. We travel and camp with 2 families and use cast iron. This might be a better option. Thanks for the review. Have a good week sir. Thanks

Wow.. that IS a nice set. Far too big for my needs since I cook for myself only.
    Thanks for the video

I'm an adult scout leader and we have been looking for something like this for a long time! No one is making anything like until now. What we have is very , very old and worn out. Thanks!

Jeff Keeton this could be the core of a patrol box cook system.

That's a really nice cookset. I like the idea that it can nest together, great for car camping and RVing when storage space is limited. I also like the dual wire handles. Does the 5.5 liter pot lid fit the skillet? Thanks for the video.

Looks good. The big pot seems almost TOO big, and with that standard 2 burner stove, is it possible to use the frying pan AND the smaller pot at the same time?

That’s a good point. As I said it probably wouldn’t be used regularly for my family. I’d probably end up bringing one of the larger coleman’s like a 413 or 426 if I was planning on using that.
Boiling corn or salt potatoes are the two main things that might require that big of a pot. (At least things I typically cook)

Any chance you can comment on the troop frypan nesting with the msr alpine 4 set?

You made the video! :) But you forgot to address the question about how it nests with the MSR alpine 4 pot set. Does it work? With that system in mind, so you prefer the primus CampFire 10" skillet or this gsi troop one?

    P. S have you found any issues with that silicone melting on that pan? They put that pretty far up the handle on that skillet. I'd be weary of using it on a fire (despite GSI's claims it was meant for it)
