Just subscribed and ordered a PS Classic. I'm new to this so hoping that it'll be easy to buy PS 1 games and emulate soon. Is it the same process for PS2 games, buy old console and so on?
@@ArchadesGames I'm not sure what I could do with it honestly 😂 I just bought it to dump the BIOS and now it's in my closet. All it has is an MM3 chip so I'm not sure what it's capable of other than playing burned discs.
Wow, I didn’t know this was possible. I bought a Japanese PS1 over a year ago with the intention of getting its BIOS files (trying to play the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3 with that fan made translation patch). Haven’t really had the chance to do anything with it yet though. But this seems shockingly easy in comparison. I might actually get a PS Classic now just to try this One question, is it possible to also rip the games on the PS Classic and transfer those to your PC?
Hi there I love the video I was wondering if I were to do this do I have to get the real old school ps1 (The Original) or will the new 2018 version ps1 do the job also?
@@raizallopez6103 yesss bcs the method is only designed for PS Classic. This method is only for the PS Classic, not the original Playstation from the 90s
Could you tell me what the MD5 checksums are for those BIOS files? I'm wondering if mine were extracted correctly, because RetroArch doesn't recognize them.
I need help please. I have used AutoBleem the way you taught here. But for a mistake I did, it got bricked with a green flashing light and then a red one. It does not power on. I have seen ways to recover it but always with recovery files from BleemSync or PE, never with AutoBleem, can you help on how to get it back up?
Awesome bro, but i have modded ps1 classis that have 101 games. i saw bleemSync and there is no autobleem and no bios files. How i can do that and get the 3 version bios files. i scare if i install autobleem maybe i'll lose my all games. Could you help me please

Well, now that we know that we can extract BIOS from the Classic, the question that comes to my mind is; can we also extract the games themselves ???
I believe so but most are crap PAL versions so that is a bit disappointing.
@@ArchadesGames Thanks for the reply!
Wow. That is shockingly easy. I already have the PS Classic and the small 32 USB 2 stick in fat32. Now to just stop being lazy...
Very easy ;)
Now I'm mad that I bought a modded PS1 console to dump it's BIOS lmao.
But now you have a Modded PS1 you can do fun things with!!

This is the PS Classic not an original PlayStation console
@@ArchadesGames Ok you mean to say I can do this with the 2018 version ps1?

I am off the PC for the night so I will let you know in the morning!
Did you merge them as 1 file & converted to PS1 memory card format?
