- Manchester United have been offensively poor this season. They have only scored eleven goals in ten Premier League games. Erik Ten Hag needs to find a solution and play Alejandro Garnacho on the right wing. The Manchester United manager has been reluctant to play the Argentina wonderkid on the right wing for unknown reasons. But fielding Garnacho in that position will give him the experience to become a complete attacker like Cristiano Ronaldo.

THe only way Garnacho gets more playing time is if he changes his name to Rashford.

Perhaps Sancho has a point about 'favourites'.
@@nickraoyj Rashford is his mate , therefore he has no problem with him. Antony however. This reduces the validity of Sancho's point of Ten Hag favourites.

i cant imagine being a youngster at united, pellistri, dialo , hannibal, garnacho all pathways being blocked by favouritism, it's not like united are winning or playing great so why I ETH afraid to take the risk, isn't that what united is about
I second that old boy ! Well spotted, Managers underestimate the psychology of playing academy players at old Trafford. It's like giving both the crowd and the player a perk. As you say they can't do any worse .

mainoo and diallo too. the younger generation play more technical football than their seniors. the best chance ten hag has of getting this team to play the football he desires is to rely on the youth talents.

I rate Garnacho but him and Regulion on the same flank will get exposed defensively I think (unfortunately).

I was excited to buy Antony because of what he brought. He was such a great player at Ajax and had we not got him, I feel people would be saying we should have. The price wasn’t right though and he should never have came. He’s 23 so I hope he comes good but if he doesn’t, then it should be get rid of and onto the next plan for that position.

Alot of people are against him starting because he started poorly, but Rashford has been far worse, honestly Sancho or Martial should be in the conversation. Since Sancho is in bad books with Ten Haag Martial and Garnacho should get a look in at LW.
Yup, and he was playing with Rashford as striker for those games. He deserves some minutes with Hojlund imo.

United loses 1 game and all of a sudden they need to change everything and bring on all the youth players like that is gonna change all the structural problems at the club over night.
Garnacho is great but we saw him start at the beginning of the season and he was pretty poor(Just like the rest of the team).
Unless he has magically evolved over the last couple of weeks i am not convinced.
When Garnacho did start, he looked lost. He needs to learn his craft first. The prem isn't the U23's. He's much better as an impact sub at this point.
Everyone keeps mentioning the first two games of the season, but we were playing Rashford as the 9. Give Garnacho some minutes to gel with Hojlund (who is usually subbed off by the time Garnacho is subbed on). You guys expect to keep the status quo and somehow that will magically change something? We've seen for 10+ games that that hasn't worked at all, so why not try making one or two changes here and there? Changes like starting Garnacho at LW and putting Rashford at RW, or Antony at LW and Rashford/Garnacho at RW, or starting Garnacho at LW and letting Rashford be the sub that runs at tired legs, etc.
I know that our starting defense coming back will help a lot, but I think if we were to experiment with things up front, the Carabao Cup would be the place to do it. Not to mention ETH already let the youth play against Palace's B team and we dominated them. Food for thought.
Garnacho started today and had a mediocre game. Not entirely his fault given how his teammates performed but he needed to be better. Bruno was dropped too and Mount, playing instead of him, kept trying shots that had not a hope of going in.
Pellistri does as well. It's not just that they look a lot more of a threat than Antony and rashford but we're playing so shit at the moment we could at least be playing younger players.
And rashford needs to sit and contemplate wtf happened to him this summer that stopped him from being able to play well.

There are several youngsters at United who should hopefully get more minutes. Garnacho is the most high profile one. Yet Amad, Mainoo and Hannibal should all be getting more minutes this season.
They did nothing at youth level. What makes you think they are going to be able to compete with the best players in the world? Lol
Garnacho, Hannibal and Mainoo definitely need to start more games - together. Pellistri just doesn't cut for me for some reason, not a PL player, more suited for La Liga.

You guys are blind and cannot see that Garnacho, Pellistri and Anthony are simply not good enough. Garnacho has the highest ceiling but is too weak to start. He gets bounced off the ball too easily. Look at the 1st goal yesterday. He’s an impact sub until he adds some LBS and learns to cut inside and play like a #10.
And Wan Bissaka at right back Dalot to the left or bench.

In my opinion, he’s a LW/LM. He’s capable of playing a RW/RM.
Mostly he should be playing as a LW/LM. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
In less than a day, this is proven wrong. Granted, he should get more opportunities to start.
It’s more of a question related to your previous video, but considering how Erik ten Hag is starting to perhaps come under some pressure how would you feel the idea of Kieran McKenna making the move from Ipswich back to United? If we want to make it relevant to his video, I have a feeling he would be great for Garnacho as he’s quite good at developing academy products and young players, as seen in Luke Woolfenden (I know the positions are very different).
I hope he does tonight...and you'll see he's not as good as the hype
I don't mind who plays as long as Rashford doesn't. He's been awful all season so far, utterly useless.

1. He started 2 games with Rashford as the 9. He's never played with Hojlund there, so let's give it a shot. Clearly Rashford hasn't been working as LW or striker.
2. At the moment, I'd rather start the youngsters and let the overpaid divas come on as subs. It gives the youth a shot and hopefully humbles the egos of the "good" players.

Its a no brainer to play Garnacho as a RW. He's still developing as a player which would make it easier for him to make that change. Also he pretty much has a starting spot nailed on at RW. Because Antony is clearly not cutting it. And Sancho is halfway out of the door
It’s not even about who starts, garnacho started at the start of the season and didn’t do much, it’s about overall playing style and our midfield and attack not behind able to construct attacking moves consistently
