UK ready?? The UK has no significant conventional force. 30k Frontline troops(maybe), approx 50 battle ready tanks, etc. Ukraine is losing more than 30k soldiers a month to injury/death. UK military has become a joke, they are of no consequence to the Ukraine war if needed.

NATO was founded in 1949. So NATO did not experience anything in the 1930's as it didn't exist.
NATO are the Nazi's that escaped during the Berlin invasion so yes they were founded before then.
And the biggest country in Nato was an enemy of the thirties while Russia was an ally.

W. Germany had no armed forces until 1955, they were technically still under allied occupation until then.
