One thing you forgot to mention was the pressure on the temples that this headgear exerts on your head due to the hardness of the foam material and lack of padding on the inside. Like the reviewer said, the headgear does a poor job hugging your cheekbone. I have this headgear and every time I use it I get a headache from the pressure on the side of the temple
Yes, ideally, but not too high up to distort vision. Man things is that the bar has enough space between the forehead to not allow a glove to enter and make contact with your face.
I completely agree, I tried Reyes face saver and every punch my cheeks absorbed the shots instead of the gear absorbs for my cheeks lol. So if Reyes was hard on my face, I can’t Imagine this one. I finally ended up with Winning FG2900, good vision and super light to move, plus cheek protectors designed to cushion punches enough to protect your nose, you still feel them on the nose but not to the point of breaking them

i was out of town and had to have a sparring session so i just purchased a 25 dollar title classic headgear. no joke i like it almost as much as my winning fg5000. i dont work for title but i do love most of their stuff. but i cant believe i like a 25 buck headgear as much as my 400 buck headgear. i have used many sparring equipment over the last 12 years of my boxing and i can say if you dont get the winning fg then get the title in my opinioin. i do have a big head myself and we use face protectors when sparring not comp headgear . so if you want ultimate protection for before a fight thats what i my opinion is on. i dont know anything about amateur comp headgear so this is isnt about that kind
