I come back to listen to this everyday and when I see the animation and hear the song I get a feeling that I can't replicate in any way, it's like I'm involved into the story emotionally and physically,living in this fantasy world as merely a bystander that observes and doesn't interfere but can still feel everything that is happening around them.THIS is poetry, art , literature , music and then some, it's a game and all of us have an important role here that can't be fulfilled by anyone else. UNDERTALE at this point is something we will pass down as not just a story but as something more than a story something that helped us through hard times by giving us a comfortable place to stay when the real world was too harsh,hell when I was 13-14 I was very depressed and suicidal with no hope in humanity or even in myself, this game and this community proved me wrong so hard, they gave me hope so I started to make change for myself and the others around me. I can never be grateful enough for the people who made this,the people who created these AU's,the fans who supported them and Toby Fox for creating the pillars on which this moss called the UNDERTALE fandom can grow and thrive.
It's pretty amazing right? It was really the only thing that succeeded in keeping me emotionally invested in anything. I miss the good old times when I'd come back from school and then watch animations or read comics, it meant a lot indulging in those things. I have never cared so much for anything in my life so continuing it seems kinda hopeless cuz still, at the end of the day, it's just art and a bit of imagination
I still like him like this. I’m use to rp as him so I know a some stuff about him and how it must have felt to do all of this. Is hard but is also funny at the sametime like whenever I do a rp about underverse and people ask me as Ink about xgaster and other stuff too. I usually just Lie lol and tells Them that I am doing this for the multiverse and try my best to protect it. XD
He is a great character tbh, he is in the grey morality of all things.. He was never design to be a generic guardian selfless and “goood” then his chaotic neutrality won’t work and it also plays with the narrative, and because he is soulless. He is not “evil” in a sense of oh he is doing it because it cause all pain in suffering, no he do it because it could benefit him in some way, to survive, and he will too do something good to benefit him like motivating someone. Overall, he is such a great written character with flaws balance with pros in his character .

Dude he is even better in Underverse. The fights and the combination of Sans and Flowey character with even more things! Ink is literaly killing his time so seek to have a proper way to become alive but having no emotions is just not helps!!! He is fakeing emotions with those vials at the right times as he saw in the other universes but he is still full of emptyness
It's just the majority of stories don't understand Ink's character, while Underverse/Jakei does. Ink has always been essentially a Flowey Sans. That's how he was created by Myebi. A Sans who destroyed his own soul and left his unfinished universe, but as a result became empty. He only protects the AUs because they fill his ink vials, which give him emotions, and if he doesn't drink them he is nothing but an empty husk incapable of feeling. He even got into a fight with Dream once because he doesn't care about the people in the AUs or the AUs themselves, just that the AU exists and that it follows its intended course, whether that be good or bad doesn't matter. He only ever protected them for his own gain, that is canon to his story. What Underverse does is just explore this empty selfish side of him. He suddenly meets X!Gaster who can create anything and make him feel brand new things, of course he wouldn't be as concerned with the Universes. And he said it himself that he would regret it in 0.4, and I quote: Sans: But you won't be able to enjoy those new possibilities Ink: I won't be like this forever, it's just... I don't want to regret it now Honestly, Underverse's Ink is not only much more interesting, but it's also MUCH closer to the original than most of stories that involve Ink. In fact, I'd say it's a realistic extension of this Chaotic Neutral character.
@@LunarFTW Yes it is like the perfect combination of soullessness consept of Undertale and AU creation and existance of Undertale fanbase. The interactions with other Sans's that is trying to exist in their timelines and this selfish flowey-like Sans that abusing his power to just enjoy himself is just absolutely amazing and adding this story someone like XGaster just makes it the perfection and this is why Underverse is SO GOOD.

Shoot, forgot how awesome this was for a few months - and dang, it's Awesome! While a couple small segments create a divide by focusing only on Underverse when the multiverse could be shown, it's largely just a gap of preference. Besides that, it's hard to say why anyone wouldn't like this - there's no wasted movement, scenes are consistent, NOTHING gets retconned, and both original and supplemented scenes portray character wonderfully. This might be on the nose, but... the animation is full of Soul AND Heart! Edit: Wait, I recognize more of your channel now too.. we may have passed by each other on some of the polls, right? Provided that expression makes sense on the internet?

And we became soulless to our art and never have the heart to put in more attention than we thought it would be
While Error!Sans is our destruction to our creations if they get too old
Ink!Sans is our creativity to keep us motivated to protect it from getting destroyed or erased
