PROTON Upgrades X50, at NO Extra Cost |

The PROTON X50 continues to represent a huge chunk of sales for the carmaker, battling it out in the hotly-contested B-segment crossover space against vehicles like the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, Chery Omoda 5 and GAC GS3 Emzoom. With competition hot on its tail, PROTON has seen it fit to update the X50 with a number of 'quality of life' updates that should see the car through to its next proper 'facelift' due next year.
We sample PROTON's 'updated' crossover at their test track in Shah Alam to find out if it's worth the fuss.

PROTON has clarified only new models will receive it. As such, the X70 facelift should offer it.

Ahh..still no next gen? Cambodia already has the much better 2nd generation with the 4-cylinder engine. Proton X50 is called Geely Coolray in Cambodia and the Philippines.
