Plot and dev were done by the original creator(who seems to have went George Lucas nuts) Nintendo however DID sell them the rights. They didn't have anything in the production or publication
What does this have to do with Steve Fox and Leo Kliesen's mother Emma Kliesen? I saw Steve's ending and he's feeling some flashes from his past when he was a little boy, he hated being called subject NT01, and Emma was more of a mother figure to Steve than what happened with Steve Fox's biological mother Nina Williams. Both Emma Kliesen and Nina Williams were voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. And little do they both know if Emma is either dead or alive. Leo believes she's dead, Steve believes that she's still alive. I think that both Steve Fox and Leo Kliesen are unaware about the fact that Emma Kliesen is still alive.
The lack of 'tits' can be explained by chest binding. And it's not uncommon for women to have deep voices, especially when they're trying to hide their gender. The voice actress is clearly a german woman deepening her voice to sound manly. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that the creators confirmed her gender. Though, Leo's gender shouldn't matter at all. I'd still love Leo even if she was a he.
To be fair they did tone it back considerably in DOA5 and DOA5 is actually a good game...surprisingly. Also Samus is not a Team Ninja character. They just got to work on a Metroid game
I think that Leo's true gender will be in question until the release of Tekken 7 comes out, the reason being that TTT2 is not canon, and there is no mention of gender anywhere in anything official; except for the EU T6 website. Well what about the TTT2 bikini you say? Well, TTT2 is a game where 3 dead characters are alive, and Heihachi is like 35yrs old again; all things highly unlikely to carry over to T7. Hence, Leo in a bikini could easily be explained as part of the wackiness of TTT2.

For instance they still don't use any gender specific language in Leo's bio on the TTT2 website, though they do it for literally every other character. Furthermore, while everyone claims that the T6 EU website referring to Leo as him (look it up and see for yourself) is inaccurate, yet they've allowed it to remain despite taking down every other T6 website. As far as the bikini goes, I know people argue that they didn't give Leo a fundoshi option so that makes Leo a girl. Well to that I say it's easier for a man to get away with being in a bikini than it is for a woman to get away with being topless; hence, they couldn't without revealing gender, that is why there are both a bikini and a surfer option with no hint of breasts whatsoever; I'm not saying that Leo won't be female come T7 (though I hope not) i'm just saying i'm not convinced.

Only because there's more proof for being male (Male items and animations in T6, etc.) But to be honest, I feel Harada just wanted Leo to be male at first, but just gave into the fan choice. she's just Androgynous. I myself have short hair, a boyish face and a low voice (in fact, my voice is lower than my friends older brother), I am often confused for being a boy, just because I look like one, I think it's ridiculous to assume someone's gender based off their appearence!

That isn't complex it's convoluted. Also Fun fact FF 13-3 was originally just going to be a DLC ending for 13-2. Have fun being ripped off :)
Plot and dev were done by the original creator(who seems to have went George Lucas nuts) Nintendo however DID sell them the rights. They didn't have anything in the production or publication
What does this have to do with Steve Fox and Leo Kliesen's mother Emma Kliesen? I saw Steve's ending and he's feeling some flashes from his past when he was a little boy, he hated being called subject NT01, and Emma was more of a mother figure to Steve than what happened with Steve Fox's biological mother Nina Williams. Both Emma Kliesen and Nina Williams were voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. And little do they both know if Emma is either dead or alive. Leo believes she's dead, Steve believes that she's still alive. I think that both Steve Fox and Leo Kliesen are unaware about the fact that Emma Kliesen is still alive.

The lack of 'tits' can be explained by chest binding. And it's not uncommon for women to have deep voices, especially when they're trying to hide their gender. The voice actress is clearly a german woman deepening her voice to sound manly. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that the creators confirmed her gender. Though, Leo's gender shouldn't matter at all. I'd still love Leo even if she was a he.

Her true name is Eleanor Kliesen. I read it in Tekken Wikia.
I think that Leo's true gender will be in question until the release of Tekken 7 comes out, the reason being that TTT2 is not canon, and there is no mention of gender anywhere in anything official; except for the EU T6 website. Well what about the TTT2 bikini you say? Well, TTT2 is a game where 3 dead characters are alive, and Heihachi is like 35yrs old again; all things highly unlikely to carry over to T7. Hence, Leo in a bikini could easily be explained as part of the wackiness of TTT2.

heatblaze123 I know that Harada said that Leo is female at that event, but the curious thing is that they've done little to verify that Leo is indeed female since. For instance they still don't use any gender specific language in Leo's bio on the TTT2 website, though they do it for literally every other character. Furthermore, while everyone claims that the T6 EU website referring to Leo as him (look it up and see for yourself) is inaccurate, yet they've allowed it to remain despite taking down every other T6 website.
As far as the bikini goes, I know people argue that they didn't give Leo a fundoshi option so that makes Leo a girl. Well to that I say it's easier for a man to get away with being in a bikini than it is for a woman to get away with being topless; hence, they couldn't without revealing gender, that is why there are both a bikini and a surfer option with no hint of breasts whatsoever; I'm not saying that Leo won't be female come T7 (though I hope not) i'm just saying i'm not convinced.
cmysharingan you put up a really good argument right there. To me, Leo will always be male. Only because there's more proof for being male (Male items and animations in T6, etc.) But to be honest, I feel Harada just wanted Leo to be male at first, but just gave into the fan choice. Although I give him high respect for listening to the fans, I don't appreciate the way he's doing things. It's his game. He could do what he wants with it... I'm sorry. I'm just getting way to technical about this. My point being, no matter what, Leo is always male to me.

Because most of us adjusted to the fact that she was male, but then suddenly finding out she isn't. I personally thaught she was male because of her clothes, hairstyle and figure of the character. Not to mention i've never acctualy known any female with the name Leo.
Firstly, it's "meiner" because of the word "mit". You always have to use the dative case with mit and the possessive word "meine" becomes "meiner" in the dative case. It has nothing to do with the gender of the speaker. I'm not german but I learned the basics of this language.
She is though she is usually more comic relief and has the whole gag boobs thing. She is my favorite character though and my best one when playing
