The Collector became such a great character with the finale alone. We all felt sad when Luz died, but we all (sort of) knew it wasn't going to be permanent. It was how everyone reacted to the grief. Amd Belos finally got what he deserved.
It's a callback joke. King loves bread puns. Cool thing is, it's a VERY eloquent way to say a lot more by implication. He'd only know King was into bread puns if he was with him, watching him grow.
Luz's entire "death" scene had me in tears. Especially when the Collector finally realized what death really means to mortals, and that he couldn't fix her when she "broke". You know the part where he asks "What is this stuff? Why won't it stop?" The first time seeing this, I thought he was talking about Belos' corruption blight, but I now I feel more like he was talking about his tears, as it's the first time he ever felt grief. Another example of the incredible writing on this show. I'm going to miss it so much.
His entire plan hinged on using the "Titan's Will" as an excuse-- requiring the live titan's heart to make that believable. Plus, possessing the heart likely means not returning to the Human Realm as a hero, and instead as a raving goop monster.
My theory is that when Belos was taking over the Isles he found the heart and built his castle around it, using it as more of a prop and not realizing that it was actually the Titan's heart. Then The Collector accidentally confirmed that it was, and Belos already knew that magic comes from the heart, which is why he only put together this plan now.
This was such an episode, it was heartfelt, heartbreaking, nervewracking, and generally amazing. When it came to flapjack’s memorial I absolutely burst into tears, the Bye did me in. This is going to be a memory for the rest of my life.
This is my favorite episode by far! I’m so proud I got to say goodbye with so many others in the world. This is the best community I could have chosen to join! Keep up the good work, I’ll support you no matter what #Iloafyou You’re amazing Cass!
this show along with She Ra, had made me happy cry, ugly cry, sad cry, overwhelmed cry and everything in between more times than any other show i watched
About the 12:05 part, the reason he never did that before was because he couldn't The only reason Bellos is able to possed people/creatures now its because os Luz and Hunter who "helped" him destroy the pallesmen souls in Bellos mind Before that episode, Bellos was unable to possess anything And the reason he didn't do it before that last episode (like why he didn't do that in episode 2 of season 3) was because he didn't know titans were immune to Collector's powers
I'm pretty sure that Belos didn't try to possess the titan's heart earlier due to the fact that he wanted to keep his human form and felt that he controlled the most powerful being in the Boiling Isles. When that wasn't an option and The Collector revealed that he's not as powerful as the titans, Belos knew what he had to do.
Alternative interpretation, he's been so unwilling to learn about the Boiling Isles that he didn't even think he had the perfect powerful vessel this whole time, until it was pointed out to him.
It truly was a beautiful finale ^^ I did needed a week to get over my heartbreak tho . I am so gonna make a lot of fanart of the show now. Thank you for everything , Dana and grew . Thank you🥲 ❤ Fantastic reaction video . Loved the Godzilla Belos bit 😂
I wish that we could have had the reactions of people besides Eda, King, the Collector, & Raine to Luz's Titan Witch form as well as for them to see the fight, especially those who had looked down on Luz like Odalia & Boscha. That would have been great. Also a missed opportunity for Principal Bump to have a Hop Pop kind of moment - "She goes to my school!" I realized the other day that Papa Titan is probably the reason that Luz, Willow, & Gus were able to bring the Owl House to life. Because he'd been watching Luz & decided to have a little bit of fun with them. Hooty probably having been part of him made it easier for him to do.
I would like to think that Principal Bump did eventually have a meeting with Camilla that was the polar opposite of the meeting with the Principal in Gravesfield at the start of the first episode. Given his reactions in "Escaping Expulsion" I am sure Bump would have told Camilla how Luz was a most promising student and how proud he was to have her at Hexside.
During the end credits; if you pause at the right moment, you'll notice roadways and houses being built around the Titan's newly raised arm. What do you think this location should be called
Let's hope that Luz does not try to make public the existence of the Islands or else the governments of Earth will want to conquer that place and there will end up being a war between the two worlds….
I'm gonna miss this show so much. Dana Tarrece is one my favourite human beings in this world. I'm a huge fan of The Owl House. I would watch all the episodes every single day and night. When I heard that there wouldn't be any more episodes and when I heard that Disney was behind this sad travesty, when I say I have *NEVER* been so sad, angry and lost and distraught. I've been mourning for a month now. Sometimes, I find myself humming, whistling and playing the opening and ending tunes on my guitar. This show made me relate to some of the characters. It made feel ok to accept myself for being bi and non-binary. It made feel like me in a way! TOH will ALWAYS be my top favourite Disney show and that's because of Dana. Not Disney.
Still I do not understand… The town where Luz lives and Philip lived before was visited from time to time by witches from the boiling islands or these were just legends that were told, but one day inhabitants of the islands arrived who were confused with the witches of their legends making Philip believe that they are the monsters he must kill generating the whole story?
Witch hunters like the people of Gravesfield were very much a real thing, and their victims were basically just anyone a little too weird, anyone a little too outspoken, anyone whose interpretation of what it meant to be Christian or anyone the people leading the hunts just didn't want around for one reason or another. Like in the real world, the people killed in Gravesfield were likely just regular people, and Evelyn was a one off explorer that found a way to get from one realm to another.
It's hard to believe that stomping managed to kill him (he's already survived worse things) maybe he's still alive but he doesn't have any choice anymore...and if someone sees him he'll just keep getting stomped over and over again (basically he became the Plankton of the islands) I don't know why but it would have been funny that at the end, just like at the end of the SpongeBob movie, there was only a tiny piece of Philip left saying that he was just joking while being taken away in a small truck to who knows where...
Time travel was not used correctly in this show It would have been interesting if it had been revealed that actually the timeline where Luz and everyone was in was the wrong one and that Philip had been the 1st to use those wells to change history creating the timeline where everyone was and perhaps the only one where his plan could be possible...
Time travel in TOW don't work that way In this universe, it doesn't matter what you do in the past, because the future its already scripted For example, Bellos has that scar on his nose since season 1, but Lilith only gave that scar to him in season 2 That means that it doesn't matter what you changed in the past, because the future can't be changed Another example is to Luz helping Philip meet the collector, Bellos already knew it him before Luz even got in the Demon Realm, so even tho she's responsible for Philip being Emperor, there's nothing she could do to change that
We have no real-world model for how time travel would work, but stable time loops are a very common trope in sci-fi and fantasy. The Owl House plays that completely straight and is entirely consistent, like Luz and Lilith already being depicted in the journal, Lilith tripping over her own head or the helmet Luz takes being missing in the present before they go back.
The Collector became such a great character with the finale alone. We all felt sad when Luz died, but we all (sort of) knew it wasn't going to be permanent. It was how everyone reacted to the grief. Amd Belos finally got what he deserved.

I chuckled a little at this...because I've seen this exact comment on two other reactions and it's starting to feel like a copypasta... 🤨

The end of an era 😢
The finale was so good, everything was closed off so well, the crew is so talented.
The perfect way to describe this finale AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER!

Belos got what he deserved.
25:46 SUCH a precious moment, isn't it? 🥰🥰🥰

I think Belos didn’t possessed the Titan before because he maybe thought that the draining spell would work
this show along with She Ra, had made me happy cry, ugly cry, sad cry, overwhelmed cry and everything in between more times than any other show i watched
Fun fact in the RUclips version they actually show blood coming out of Edda's dad's eye and trickling down his hand and arm
Fun fact: The Titan is voiced by Arin Hanson.
About the 12:05 part, the reason he never did that before was because he couldn't
The only reason Bellos is able to possed people/creatures now its because os Luz and Hunter who "helped" him destroy the pallesmen souls in Bellos mind

R.I.P. Philip. He died doing what he loved, lying and gaslighting to his last breath ^^
SO MANY TEARS! Both sad and happy
Best. Disney. Ending. EVER!!!!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤🩷🥳🎆

Dam, missed this haha time zones 😅.
I binged the entire show again i can't let go
I knew what was coming and I still cried 😭😭.
Hunters new bird is named waffles.
Anyone else notice that the Vampire Queen is pretty much crosseyed at the end?😂
Let's hope that Luz does not try to make public the existence of the Islands or else the governments of Earth will want to conquer that place and there will end up being a war between the two worlds….
New fear unlocked..
Na that couldn't happen as interesting as it would be to imagine, first the portal is to small you might get a situation similar to the anime Gate
Would it be awesome if they can make a crossover movie with amphibia and gravity falls?

Emira also cut her hair
Bro but we need a Lilith cosplay someone do it please!!!❤❤❤❤😮
Am I the only one who thought that King might die at the end of the series?
Thoughts on all the Flapjack Tattoos?
It's hard to believe that stomping managed to kill him (he's already survived worse things) maybe he's still alive but he doesn't have any choice anymore...and if someone sees him he'll just keep getting stomped over and over again (basically he became the Plankton of the islands)

He does deserve that 😂😂 death by irrelevancy
Pretty sure they stomped his skull too.
I predicted titan luz
Y’all really cut out Camilla crying and king and eda losing their shit
i hope its ok to say i like your tattos
