He was like blackmore. Too underrated. Blackmore was sadder because he got killed in 3 fucking chapters. Soundman came to like 40 chapters. That is a W. 9.9/10 Character for me.
When I realised that soundman was the enemy my heart broke, I really liked him because his goal was a noble one: helping his tribe by buying his land with the money of the race, but he betrayed his people by siding with the president, the same guy who is part of the government who want to steal his land. The first thing Johnny did was to ask soundman for help, I mean who wouldn't? It's not the first time soundman helped them and he's a native American, a chill dude who wants to help his people, who would think he's with the president? Johnny trusted him, soundman even stabbed an old guy... Johnny even tried to spare him, he knew in the end his goal was a noble one. I was so happy when he died, he deserved it and his final thoughts were about his sister, it's his fault if now his tribe will lose their land and his sister will lose his brother. This is one of the best written villains in JoJo, araki did a fantastic job, like always.

I think what he means by "In a silent way" is actually meaning the way he try to take back his homeland.Getting misundertood by his own tribe,eventually he made the thought of he only can buy back his homeland ,using the white ppl ways.Its a really unassuming way to save his entire tribe,not through fighting like others,but in a silent way.
And the song,"In a silent way" Its actually a jazz song made by a black musician,sorry if im innaporatif to this but as a chinese myself i didnt found offending in my words.Jazz is made by"black ppl",which is a vulnerable group of ppl,just the Indians!The "In a silent way"I also think of its true meaning of it is how soundman, a Indian save his tribe in this suppressed world. Sandman is a wasted potential. He just had a plot twist and died an ep later. His stand can create voices. Voices are japanese, sandman is native american.
They've done perfectly with soundman, he's such a good written villain, they made me hate him because of his hypocrisy and selfishness, I was so happy when he died; I felt betrayed like Johnny felt. Also his part is divided in 5 parts and he got introduced in the very beginning and he was always between the first placements during all stages, they didn't waste his character, if you think they wasted his character then you must think that he deserved to be the protagonist of a spin off, but that wouldn't make sense. One last thing: it's normal that the video has Japanese voices, because most of the people watch JoJo with the original voices, and not the dub even if it makes more sense in English, but JoJo had tons of moments like these, for example when giorno and koichi are talking in Japanese and Giorno says "your Italian is really good" it doesn't make sense, but you have to think they are speaking Italian instead of Japanese and, even if I'm Italian, this doesn't piss me off at all! (The thing that really pisses me off is that we waited until part 6 for an official Italian dub, god damnit) And I'm not a guy who says that the dub always sucks, in fact when I watched part 6 I watched the dub version, then I watched the sub version, it's just how JoJo is, we can't change that.
