Rip Coolio, This masterpiece never gets old.
No warm up, no auto tune, no bad ass equipment they’d have in the studio or a concert, Just going out there on a radio show and putting it down!!, I love it!!
Same
OG true artists
Yeah this song is amazing and this random spontaneous preformance is INCREDIBLE
A whole lot of talent displayed in this live performance
This is a legendary performance from Howard’s E Show. 30 years later, Howard still replays it on his radio show.
That's awesome you have something personal to remember him by. He was too young to leave this Earth, but he's in a better place now 🙏
Great tribute to Coolio. What a kind man to reach out to you!! I remember hearing this live on the HSS on my way to work!! #RIPCOOLIO
Normally, I prefer studio versions to live because they're so polished and perfected. But this rendition was so raw and passionate, I really enjoyed it. It was like Coolio was trying extra hard for Howard and his audience to really hear and understand what he was trying to say with the song. I even enjoyed when Howard chimed in (even though I normally can't stand him) because it was such a great moment and I could see he was so excited to be a part of it.
I've always loved this song, even though listening to it gives me an uncomfortable, melancholy and anxious feeling because I can feel the desperation of trying your hardest to survive an awful, dangerous situation that you can't escape, which is how I understand Coolio's message. What a beautiful lyricist he was. 💔 RIP Coolio
So well said❣️
LV is sangin' that song....he brings it home! RIP Coolio.
Hadn't heard of Coolio's passing.. he'd appreciate the tribute 🙏.
Hearing this reminded me of the first time I heard it.
Thank you.
RIP Coolio its still a shock. How amazing was it live? Legendary.
I always loved this song. I was so shocked to learn of his death, much too young. So awesome you got a response from him on your reaction. Something you can always treasure.💔
One of the best to do it! Rest In Peace Coolio
I love that he showed y'all love RIP Coolio 😢🙏 I was 7 when this song came out but I was mesmerized it. I still have vivid memories of watching the music video with my older brothers. The movie Dangerous Minds is soooo good, too!!
So nice that he reached out to you two! That's awesome.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 Rest Peacefully in Heaven Coolio, glad I was able to meet you in Detroit back in '95.
My God, listening to this as a 42-year-old in 2022 has brought me to tears. I understand the context now. What a song.
Awww….that’s so nice that he reached out to you. That was awesome to watch. #RIP
What a great tribute, TTNT! Respect! Awesome he reached out to y'all! RIP, Coolio! 🕊️🙏❤️🕯️
It was one of the iconic songs of the 90’s
This song defined the 90's.
Respect for you man for respecting and not forgetin' this Legend which made this beautiful masterpiece storytelling song that made us in some kinda way. Thank you!❤️🔥
RIP Coolio. Some people told me this song was trash. I told them to STOP, turn off the tv in the background, and for the first time actually listen.
Incredible incredible song.. Just gives you Goosebumps.
I have always loved this song and the non rehearsed, live is amazing. I have always found the music very haunting and is still something to really listen to all these years later.
Yes! That music! I thought I was the only one that thought that! But it has a sadness to it as well...
And Coolio proving he's live. Shout out the radios dial number. And Howard nailed it.
Thank you for sharing . BRILLIANT. I got goosebumps and then you said it too. I feel privileged to see this.🇬🇧👍🏻💛🤍
Truly an awesome song. RIP to a great artist.

Thanks for your reaction. You paid a nice tribute to him. A true artist who was a cut above the rest.
I love "Gangsta's Paradise," but y'all have to react to Coolio "Fantastic Voyage."
Definitely
One of my favorite songs man 🥺 my dude was too young to go like he did 👏🏼
Nice pick for a tribute! Often live versions of songs are a pale rendition compared to the studio version but this one was a home run. Loved it. RIP Coolio. 😢
Rip Coolio. Ended up at his after party in Guam in the late 90s. He went around and danced with everyone.
Still such an amazing song to this day!
Never saw a live versión of this beast of a song...
Banger....HARDDDDDDD

Awww l loved this!!! RIP COOLIO!!!
A few years back when I was 23 this song wouldn't stay out of my head cause "I'm 23 not but will i live to see 24"and I felt that

RIP Coolio......real cool dude. Thanks for the reaction. Love that you got it bro. Hats off to Howard for singing the hook.
RIP 💋❤️🎶🌹He blew us away when this song came out. I was 24. This song came on and everybody stopped what they was doing . It was like hypnosis.
This song always touches my heart everytime I hear it. RIP Coolio.
R.I.P Coolio ....this song...and it's lyrics are still fresh today x
RIP Coolio... This is a great clip... Howard knows and appreciates true genius.
Still gets it- even today. One of my fave songs to blast in the car since day 1. Rest easy Coolio
I love how open minded you are, that will serve you well in life.
❤️
Love this song - still!
I think I remember hearing this on Stern’s show. Great song, greater artist. Thanks for the flashback. Rest In Peace.
We share an appreciation for the powerful words that flow as music within music. The song is a masterpiece.
One of the (proportionately) few songs that achieved evergreen status. And well deserved, I might add.
I can't believe this video brought me to tears🥺😟😣😫😭
That was one of those songs I liked the first time I heard it! Remember sitting around the pool on a hot summer Miami day back in the 90's when it came on the radio, like you said, seriously deep lyrics, and an unforgettable music track....RIP Coolio, you did good with that one.
I was already heavily into hip hop when this came out, but this is the song that made me really start diving deeper into rap. RIP Coolio
RIP Coolio. Nice tribute and personal recollection ❤
RIP 😢
RIP ,COOLIO,LOVED YOUR TRIBUTE to him ,no curse words ,no tech equipment, just pure talent,
The entire performance is sung with passion and rooted in serious reality. #RIPCoolio
As a white 30 something I couldn't understand Biggie's/Tupac's death. This song answered A LOT, but not all. Fantastic Ride . My first car was 1966 Impala. Your done pushing the wagon Brother , Rest In Piece.
I didn’t realize the deeper meaning of the song. Thanks for this🥰
Sing it, love your reaction
They sound great!
Not surprised that Coolio reached out to you, that's how he was. RIP. Fantastic Voyage is my favorite because it's so L.A.....like the Mariachi climbing out of the trunk. Great reaction!
Yep !! Still had Fantastic Voyage on my playlist even before his passing
This is when rap had a message. It was like class.❤
R.I.P. COOLIO ! I still from time to time groove to "GANGSTA'S PARADISE ". This song I sang a lot back in 1995 because I was a 24 yr. old junkie and Crackhead.. So, Coolio's lyrics, especially the 1st line resonated with me,"As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I take a look at my life and realize there's nothing left...." Addiction made me a slave and I lost everything!Including, my son (5 yrs old at the time) and my daughter (3 yrs old at the time). "Death ain't nothin' but a heartbeat away..." "I'm 23 now but will I live to see 24. The way things are goin' I don't know.." "If THEY can't understand, how can THEY reach me..." POWERFUL LYRICS! I THANK COOLIO FOR THIS GIFT!This song has a very sentimental value to me. I have been in recovery from Crack and heroin since 2004;alcohol since 2011. I SHOULD'VE BEEN DEAD YEEEARS AGO! GOD was definitely watching over me! Now,my mission is to help those strugglin' with addiction/ alcoholism. May Coolio have a FANTASTIC VOYAGE TO THE GANGSTA'S PARADISE IN HEAVEN. SHAKA ZULU! ✌😥
Coolio had the 90s on lock. Gangstas Paradise was huge but the first song I heard from him was County Line. He also put out Fantastic Voyage and 1,2,3,4. There's a performance of Ganstas Paradise on Billboard Music Awards in 95. It won for Single of the Year and Stevie Wonder comes out. TAG is the song he wanted you to react to with Too Short. RIP Coolio, one of the realist 🙏
I've never seen that clip before so thanks for sharing that. I grew up when rap/urban music was newer & not yet speaking of life so much. When this song came out I was blown away. Coolio was amazing. (still know every word to this song). He made a lifestyle real I didn't know existed. One of the all time greats...gone too soon. 😔. RIP Coolio. You'll never be forgotten. 🕯️🕊️💔
2:43 Howard Dancin!!! Very very genuine!!
R.I.P. Coolio
R.I.P. Coolio. Loved it when Howard Stern joined in near the end of the song.
Love it. Definitely - that was a profound song when it came out. Very much opened people's eyes to what people really go through growing up in the hood. Love your videos.
4:29 " Howard Stern in the hoooouuuuse!!!” GO ON COOLIO!!! Singing AND Rappin!!!
Excellent sampling of Stevie Wonders Past time paradise.

RiP Coolio!
Greetings from Germany
SECOND! Dang. FOURTH! RIP Coolio.
RIPARADISE Coolio U will surely be missed, ❤ his hair do. Check out Fantastic Voyage.
Exactly!
LVs hook is meant to be an outsider perspective, being the album lyrics are "THEYVE been spending most THEIR lives" but I can see that was changed live.
Originally it was a back and forth talk basically.
Great performance thanks for sharing tim
Gangsta's Paradise...we are all living in it...all of us. All the time. Never heard this interview. Coolio knew whats what.
