But, things have recently changed in my life so I am going to pursue this much more fervently, but messing with new software is always overwhelming. Thanks to your video I was able to get a basic stream going with an avatar overlaying the game and no weird clipping. This is amazing, noob question, are you using Vtuber Studio on your desktop or your phone? Also is a webcam necessary or can I use my laptop's default camera if I'm on desktop?
A bit late but you need vtube studio on your pc for it to work with obs and etc! And you can use any camera as long as it picks up your movements and facial expressions

i found the chroma key worked better when i used the window capture instead of game capture if anyone was having issues, the game capture wasnt working for me with the chroma key.

curious question does it take alot of cpu usage say ya wanna stream a steam game and ya using vtube studio via steam never tried before but would there be a problem with that?

help, my streamlabs lost all my overlays so im having to redo them, and now when i add vtuber studio, theres 2 black bars on the side in vtube studio so now when i chromea key the black bars are still there
Hi! I just wanted to say that today I found out you can use the video capture device and stream your vtuber that way with a transparent background (color picker background on Vtube studios). All you have to do is set up your camera through the video capture device then right click on it, click on filters, then edit filters, choose color key, then add a custom color and click your background and all of it becomes transparent. Sorry if this doesn't make sense I was just messing with it and found it that way, I was more than excited to share my findings, lol. Hope this helps someone!
I wear classes in real life and I can't see without them and my vtuber has its eyes closed but when taking my glasses off it detects right but I need my glasses on.
I know this comment is 1 year ago .... But same here my background does not go transparent... Plus when i do gaming my vtuber disappear to backwards like in final result it does show up but while i am gaming i can not see my vtuber right in the corner ..... 😭😭😭
Perfect. I have a Question teach! So on Vtube studio my character FPS is 11fps and I don't know how to make that higher. I tried using my computer webcam and c920 webcam, same results.
