Hi CK, I'm a 13 year old county singles player and my strings on my yonex astrox 100zz have just broke so I'm looking for a re-string. I really like the specifications of the bg66 ultimax but am really concerned with the durability as I would rather not pay for often re-strings. I know it's hard but would it be possible to give a rough prediction of how long this string would last?
Its impossible to give a definite durability but as a super thin string, it wouldn't last very long if you're playing 4-6 hours a week on a single racket.
Shoes are hard, you need to try them to test out especially if you have flat feet. You might want to look at specialist insoles for your badminton shoes.
I am About to make my first major shoe purchase But confused as hell! Someone explain in INCHES how much inches is 2E 3E 4E . Looking at mizuno but all there shoes are wide 😭 I dont want yonex cause believe it or not their other companies out there equal to or better the. Yonex 🥳😜
2-4E are typically measuring shoe width, not shoe length. I'm not sure for Mizuno but i do understand normal Yonex shoes are designed with 3E width in mind. Wide shoes go up, narrow shoes vice versa.
Being an intermediate player i want to ask you something currently i use power cushion 50 shb which is a mid rnd shoe i have been using it since last 6 months i want to ask that if i go for 65z3 how much will it effect my game in percentage like approximately u have been using high end gears and sometimes low end gear for review so i wanted to know that using high end shoe how much beneficial it can be your opinion

I absolutely loved the tiger stripes pattern on the heel section of the White Tiger but I really can't handle cleaning and maintaining all-white outsoles, so I ended up buying the black one 🥲
😂😂 I just went “full send” mode and never thought of it! But yes, the stripes around the heel area is very cool!
sir, I want to ask you a question. I usually use Lining shoes on size 44.
if I want to use 65 Z3, do I take size 44 too? or more?
Im not too sure about LiNing sizing but if you measure your foot and use this: www.ckyew.com/post/yonex-badminton-shoes-size-chart you'll be able to get the correct size.
@@CKYew ah, i see. thank you very much, sir. 🙏
Good luck 👍🏼
been using the yonex PC 65 Z2, the one they released on their 75th anniv, and I must say, I am yet to find another pair of badminton shoes that fit the shape of my feet so perfectly! i tried the PC eclipsion Z and it just doesn't feel right.
If you loved the Z2, you'll like the Z3.
I also used these for a while and they were like a dream!! I had 2 pair but worn both out within 6 and 8 months (1 year 2 month’s total)😭 Now went for the Z3’s they are more comfortable but the fit is definitively different. Tomorrow I will first use them on court. Hope it goes well!!
@@luukbosma4447 would love to hear your feedback on your new shoes! :)
@@RamChristianCossid played quite well yesterday. The grip of the shoes is amazing! Didn’t feel as secure as my old pair. (I also went a size up). Guess I have too get used to it. Also was for the first time after badminton I didn’t had blisters but that’s probably due to the size😅
@@luukbosma4447 i see, i better check the fit when I get the chance. Im still not ready to let go of my old pair, but this may change my mind :) thanks!
Really torn between these and the Eclipsion Z2s!! I’m using the 65Z right now and I used the 03Z prior. The 65Z feels a lot better than the 03Z on my feet but I’m worried about the 65Z’s durability. How would you compare the durability between the Eclipsion Z2 and the 65Z3?
If you liked the 65Z then you should go for the Z3. I've never had issues with durability on both the eclipsion Z2 and the Z3 so i cant tell 🤣
@@CKYew Thanks for your prompt response! Looking forward to your men's singles players equipment video!
@@Crash10101010 I have the blue wide 65 z3 and black/red eclipsion z2 and they both feel really good but eclipsion definitely more supportive especially around the ankles
@@iimiboy Thanks for the feedback! Would you say there's a big difference between the wide 65Z3 model and the eclipsion z2 in terms of fit, or is the width difference not that noticeable?
@@Crash10101010 both feel good, I recently bought the black 65 z3 non wide and that feels fine after a couple of hours of use straight from the box aswell.
Another cheaper but great choice is the babolat shadow tour shoes, they look and feel amazing and much cheaper than the top end yonex series with michelin designed soles.
Again buy at least half or full size up
Hello bro love your video!
How many centimeter u add for the shoe length from your foot length?
Dont add any! Measure your foot directly in cm then use this shoe chart to find your size: www.ckyew.com/post/yonex-badminton-shoes-size-chart
@@CKYew how if my feet length is 26.8cm
Should i get 26.5cm or go up to 27cm?
Do you feel like addition of PowerCushion+ on the Z3 is worth the extra money compared to the X3? Did you notice a difference in padding/protection?
100%
is there X3 release wide model ? actually Z3 wide has nice dark navy but sky blue colour irritating me hahahaha
No wide model for X3, wide available for the Z3.
How's the White Tiger? 🔥

What's your take on the BOA non-string shoes?
I haven’t tried any boa badminton shoes. I’ve tried the running shoes and they were ok for me 👍🏼
Hi could you do a review on Yonex Precision 1 shoes please ??
I believe its a Yonex Sunrise only shoe so it'll only be available in SEA and probably HK and India. Not available where I'm based 😬
Omg i want to buy white tiger, but i have wide foot, should i buy it or choose wide size?
You might be better going with the wide model 👍
hello, since you foot is 28cm, may i ask what size these white tigers are? im fidning it hard getting myself the right size.
28cm white tigers, UK size is 9.5 I believe. I have a Yonex shoe size chart on my blog
@@CKYew so just to clarrify, when messsuring using CM, i dont need to go size up or down and i get it straight from the size guide?
Yep, from my experience, the cm measurement is the most accurate one
@@CKYew cool thank you I have always struggled with finding the right size. Every store is out of stock and I have to buy online. Even went I went all England I couldn’t find a great fit. Tomorrow I’m going tennis nuts to try on the 65x3 to get an idea on sizing. Ofc I’m going to buy the 65z3 when they are back
@@CKYew Ok so this makes no sense. I just came back from tennis nuts and i tried the 65x3 size 11UK and it was a tad too small. My foot is exactly 28.3
Hi CK, I also review this 65 Z3 but not the X3, however the blue color of Z3, is it for the wide foot?
The wide version of the Z3 is the blue model. No wide model for X3 as far as I'm aware.
Which insole should I buy as a replacement for 65Z3?
You can get the same wavy insole or even the power cushion + insole?
Which shoes are better comfort z , aerus z or 65 z white tiger
They’re all great. It’s all down to your personal preference
will you be making a video comparing the 65z3 with the 65z2
I've certainly made more than enough comparisons of the Z2 to Z3 in this video 🤣🤣
@@CKYew i love you bro
@@CKYew to be honest with you I didn't even watch the video I had to rush out the house
65z2 and 65z3.,.. who is better and comfort? Do you think 🙏🙏
Z3 wins
@@CKYew thanks, if 65z3 and eclipsion Z2, who is more comfort? 🙏🙏
Hello need your suggestions tried badminton central but no one wants to put in a suggestion.
I live in a town where badminton shoes at
Local stores arent a option
So i found a site that had
Yonex 65z3 kento monto white tiger shoe uk8 for 9999 rupees
And power cushion comfort z2 uk8 8200rupees
Ive tried other yonex shoes and am a 8uk
I found a store locally that is selling the asics court control FF2 for 9999 rupees i put them on and felt amazing and comfy , you can really feel the gel .
Do you think the cc ff2 worth the price tag or should i go safe and get the 65z3. Or save 2.8k and get the power cushion comfort z2 ?
Money isnt a issue as i love badminton its getting me out the house and keeping me healthy and fit with a clear mind so im willing to spend $$$.
Also i jump rope and jogg around thr courts alot so want something thats not help with foot ,shins and knees!
Lost on if the cc ff2 worth it or not.
You should go with shoes that you've tried and liked
@@CKYew thank you for your reply
Have you heard anything about the asics court control ff2 ?
I've not tried the Asics before 😬
How about 88 dial ll?
Hi bro..Shb z3 vs cascade vs aeurus z..overall which better to buy?
Its down to your personal preference, The Aerus Z and Z3 will be better shoes than the Cascade Drive.
@@CKYew im done buy shb z3 white tiger one day ago and the shoes still on the way my house..i hope shb z3 its as my expectations..thx broo succes to ur channel 🙏
You’ll love it! It’s an amazing shoe!
which will be more durable - 65 z3 or the Cascade drive ?
65 z3 all the way
Is it suitable for wide foot? Especially wide front foot?
There’s a wide foot model that’s in blue 👍🏼
What do you recommend for a wide feet player sir?
there's a wide model for the Z3. Go for the wide model. 👍
@@CKYew thanks so much sir
Any advice on the sizing for these shoes?
Measure your foot and use this for size reference: www.ckyew.com/post/yonex-badminton-shoes-size-chart
Hi CK,
I'm a 13 year old county singles player and my strings on my yonex astrox 100zz have just broke so I'm looking for a re-string.
If you want to try more durable strings, try yonex bg65ti. Last months for me
what size were u using in the vid?
My usual size - 28.0cm, U.K. 9.5
What do you recommend for flat feet Sir?
Shoes are hard, you need to try them to test out especially if you have flat feet. You might want to look at specialist insoles for your badminton shoes.
I am
About to make my first major shoe purchase
But confused as hell!
Someone explain in INCHES how much inches is 2E 3E 4E .
Looking at mizuno but all there shoes are wide 😭
I dont want yonex cause believe it or not their other companies out there equal to or better the. Yonex 🥳😜
2-4E are typically measuring shoe width, not shoe length. I'm not sure for Mizuno but i do understand normal Yonex shoes are designed with 3E width in mind. Wide shoes go up, narrow shoes vice versa.
@@CKYew thank you for your reply i really appreciate it
Would you say z2 was better then 65X3 ?
Absolutely! Z2 is a top end shoe, the X3 is a mid range shoe. Different classes of shoes 👌
is there 65z3 wide like 65z2 wide ?
Yes there is, I think it's the blue one.
Yes, W is correct. There's a wide version which is Blue for this model.
Obviously better made products will provide you with better comfort and feeling so I would certainly recommend it if you can afford it 😊
@@CKYew there is a top player in my club he uses basic equipments the astrox 27 i lite and his shoes is something like vector and his gut was also demo cut repaired 1,2 times he told me that 90% you'll have to play on your own equipment will make 10% difference
Oh don’t get me wrong, I’d say 95% is up to the player themselves. If you give lin dan a super cheap basic back garden racket with crazy loose strings. I’m sure he’ll still beat 99% of us, but if you’re thinking he could win a big tournament with that set up, I’m not so sure. 😬
@@CKYew no i am not getting you wrong you are right because lin dan is playing with these expensive equipments high tensions from many years i dont even know and he is familiar with it if we gave him a low end shoe he might not move that effeciently and with a lose string he might lose the control at that basis if lin dan vs leechong wei happened lin dan cant get more than 10 point's with these low end equipments
I just bought the 65z3
And this shoe is just fabulous 🤍
Niceeee
