Kid who got a genius IQ from TikTok: "I'm smarter than you 🤓" Me who got a diagnosed IQ test with 153: "Haha, no :)" Edit: This was me from one year ago, sorry for flexing my IQ
This is not too similar to one of the tests I’ve been warned by my lecturer to not believe. There was legit this one CV submitted to his company (my lecturer worked in a counseling firm) which contained the results for a “psycho-test” amongst other things. Thankfully, the guy was never hired and we all got a good chuckle in class.
I'm only about three minutes into the video and had it paused as of writing this. In 8th grade, I took an official IQ test. If I recall correctly, the first part of the test were blocks with patterns on them, and I had to arrange them to match the patterns given out to me. After that, they got to the questions. I recall there being two categories of questions: vocabulary where I had to determine what a certain word means, and math where I gotta guess the equation. For both tests the questions started off easy, but got progressively difficult. For the math section, I recall them starting with basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, whatever) before eventually getting to hard stuff like summation, derivatives and integration. I got an IQ of 100, which was average, although I didn't study for that thing (did anyone?), so it could've been more. I was 14 at the time.
Hey I watch ur videos while I game or try to fall asleep or just to relax! Ur videos are actually really enjoying and thank you for always asking how r days r going!

I had to take an IQ test to get into a gifted school. I took my first college class at age 11. The test had several hundred questions. Ten questions is BS. Also, I listen while baking.
The odds of getting perfect on a 30 question IQ test by guessing depends. for the sake of the odds this will be a standard multiple choice question with 4 answers to pick from. with the average iq for a child (i’m gonna assume the gen z kid is 13, Price, a professor at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London, and colleagues, tested 33 "healthy and neurologically normal" adolescents aged 12 to 16. Their IQ scores ranged from 77 to 135, with an average score of 112. but with the way the gen z kid is acting, ima presume his real IQ is 70) i don’t feel like typing out the math cuz i have an exam in 2 hours. with this info the odds are estimated to be 1 in 2,330,127 ( keep in mind these are estimates not the actual odds and i can’t get the actual odds cuz A: i haven’t slept in 6 days and i’m tired/hungry. B: My arm hurts cuz i have been typing for 1 hour and 34 minutes
the chances of this kid to get a perfect score are 1 in 1,152,921,504,606,847,000 it goes down considerably if he needed to beat at least 20 of them (1 in 1,099,511,627,776) still impossibly high to beat those odds though
if we say that there are 30 question with 5 possible options than the gen z kid has a 20% chance of getting it right for one question: Calulation-(1/5)100. However, for all 30 question if he was to get them all right he would have a 1.073741824x10^-19% of if he was to chose at random (^ means power to): Calulation (1/5^30)100. I showed my calulation so you can try them out.

IQ Test. Yeah, I had little patience for the "I'm a genius" crowd back when online IQ tests started surfacing. I had to take several IQ tests in the 90s when I was being diagnosed. I know that people bragging about their IQs are cringy as fuck, and that IQ doesn't mean as much as people think it does, but when you have no idea what's wrong with you, it's nice to have that 140 score in the back of your head so that, whatever your problem is, at least your peers are wrong about what they say you are. Anyway, one day this guy with no critical thinking skills, no problem-solving ability, and poor information retention comes along bragging to everyone that he's a genius, and I'm like, "Oh, I'd love to discuss the testing process with you- which one did they administer? Was it at school or through some other institution?" And he goes, "Nah, I just took an online test." "Well, those aren't really accurate. Part of the scoring is the administrator rating how--" "No, it's legit, the website said so and everything." So now I never believe someone's a genius unless I see them acting intelligently. Which is why I contest my own score. I have never had a single thought in my life. My inner monologue is a lo-fi rendition of the Astro Boy march played on repeat. As an aside, those tests are RAD when you're a kid. You get to, like, re-arrange blocks and put pictures in order and shit. There was one set of four pictures I had to put in sequential order to tell a story, and I had no idea what was going on in them. But there was a clock on the wall, so I was all, "Oh, wait, I don't have to know, I just have to make time go forward." And at the time I thought it was cheating, but now I wonder if the real puzzle there was if you'd notice the clock, because even afterwards I still had no idea what was going on in the story.
IQ TEST. i actually looked over the questions for a legit paper iq test when I was in middle school and could not solve that many of the questions. some of them when you're not yet wired for problem-solving are really almost impossible
The real IQ test is pretty stupid. I took once while in high school because they wanted to know how I was doing due to my autism. I was put in a room in front of a computer being watched by an official (or at least one who is allowed to give the test) and told to solve the problems. Each problem was timed with following questions getting harder or easier depending on time spent plus if I was correct or not. All the questions was pretty much all solving type questions and not really doing any math, science, reading, etc. After that there is psychology sit down and you go though the test you did with the psychologist. I forgot my score because I find IQ test stupid but I did get way above average but not super rocket smart.
Last time I took an IQ TEST, I got a 138, but that was a LONG time ago when I was like 12 years old. Considerably higher than average and it wasn't one of those shady online tests either, it was an official Mensa test.

i love your videos connor! thanks for telling these stories! i listen to these on both spotify and youtube and i watch every one you put out.
I swear Connor just destroyed the kid for trying to “correct” the teacher with a mathematically incorrect formula
Wow this teacher had nothing for this kids problem and the word is Iq test
bro prob doesnt even know who einstein is.
It is possible that the teacher looked at both scores and just displayed the higher one as his own, kid deserved it though.
This story reminds me of that episode of king of the hill where Peggy takes an IQ test lol
bro thinks 10 question *iq tests* would actually show him to be a genius
Just a reminder, gen z stops at 2009.
No it ends at 2012-2013

so go to a university to take an iq test or whatever? not very practical

its been proven you can't really study for an iq test.
IQ tests don’t actually reveal how smart you are. Just what your problem solving capacity is.
The random sketchy online ones always have the high scores. Took two before taking the actual one. 135 on both fakes. 102 on the actual one.
I found the official iq test that my parents took and I tried it.I got 101.
Im 10 years old😊

IQ isn’t a vague enough password. Obviously people are going to include it since it’s part of the main subject.
