Important to mention on page 2 or 3 is counter errata, the errata counters are on sheet nine. Glad they caught them 👍

Great unboxing and good overview of the excellent looking components. My question with all Compass products is 'do the rules pass the acid test' -- i.e. have they corrected the original rules for errors and errata? No doubt Chadwick is a creative designer -- one of the best -- but the rules of his games (or some of them) have proven incomplete with errors and contradictions. Mostly I refer to his game that had so much potential but proved unplayable without significant house rules and interpretations -- The Sands of War. If Compass haven't' combed through these rules and fixed them (which they didn't do well for Hearts and Minds) then this product could be a potential disaster. Which would be too bad given the amazing scope of the game. I don't have any experience with these original games so I hope I'm dead wrong but the price of this baby is pretty steep. 181 £ is a lot of cashola! lol -- anyway, thanks a lot!

The price may appear high but when you recognize that you are getting four complete games in one package, which averages out to $50 it's not bad at all. If you jumped on the preorder price of $150, that knocks it down to $37.50 per game. Unless all you wanted was one theater in the set, that is a damn good deal IMO.
The rules seem fine out of the box, but like any rule set I expect there to be questions from some people. Overall, I think the value is pretty high with this one since you can play four separate theaters, two games where two fronts are combined, and the overall combined game to play all fronts. LOTS of game in this box for sure.

@@MoesWargames okay, mate! I'll be checking out your playthrough here on your channel if you have time to do it. It's true that there are 4 games in one box, but you don't get to try them individually, and if the rules are not so good for one of them, that makes them not so good for all of them, in which case the value isn't so high at all. But, like you, I tend to be optimistic. cheers :)

We may have to rethink some of the Russians counter strengths.

@@vitaeus3278 with the new release, the value of those original four has gone down from the high dollars they were getting prior to this. There are still people wanting them though, so someone will likely be a happy camper to pick them up!
