  • ProDev: The Series is a snapshot into Counter Culture Coffee’s Professional Development program. This quarterly conversation is an opportunity for coffee lovers across-the-board to engage in conversations concerning some of our industry’s most relevant topics.
Is Ethiopian coffee so valuable because it is so good? Or is it so good because it is so valuable? Why the obsession over Ethiopia coffees? What lengths has Ethiopia gone to secure the quality and clout of their genetic goldmine, ecologically speaking? This ProDev, we’re excited to share with you a nutshell version of the extensive research Getu Bekele, our East African Supply Chain Manager, and Tim Hill, our Coffee Buyer and Quality Manager have done on this very topic. Find out which varieties most coffee producers in Ethiopia are growing and be inspired by just how far Ethiopia goes to ensure the excellence of their coffee.
