PS2 is insanity too much over 4,000 games of greatness I’ve seen all from 1980-Now I have every console and tons of games PS2 is wild Retro Wolf enjoy the journey
You have gone down the rabbit hole of PS2 collecting. There are so many great titles for this console, half of the fun will be hunting for them. Enjoyed the video. Keep on collecting!
The PS2 is going to be a hell of a collection to complete man! Luckily many games on the console are really cheap, and you showcased just how many games you could get in a single day without breaking the bank! Good luck on this journey man!
Im glad youre beginning your journey. Ive been on and off collecting for the ps2 for 6-7 years now and i got a little over 350 games. And im just focusing on what peaks my interest in the NTSC region, theres many neat games that made it onto PAL and japanese regions, especially the cheaper games like 7 Sins and Demolition Girl. Its never a bad time to collect for the ps2, best of luck to you
PS2 is gonna be a long ride! Luckily most of the games on it are pretty cheap but the sheer size of the library makes collecting it a hard and expensive task!
PS2 is the greatest console ever made (in my humble opinion). But my Lord it is a difficult task to go for a complete collection, with the huge library that it has. There's also some REALLY expensive titles. I'll be cheering you on from a distance!
When it comes to "rare" PS2 games, there's not too many to checkmark off considering there's 1800+ games for the NTSC library. One tough thing though is completing all of the officially released special editions, one special edition I've been wanting to find is for Rockstar's Bully (it's a really small locker with all kinds of special items), but i never seen it selling online
@@noahboat580 That sounds awesome... I never really buy special editions. Haven't really got room for them. I did buy Gylt - Collectors Edition for the Switch, but that's about it.
LOL......That's sounds crazy to complete a PS2 set. There are over 1800 North American games, and 4400 if you count all regions. It's one of the biggest libraries in video games.
It’s funny becuase PS2 was my console as opposed to the GameCube but I see ourselves collecting a full set of GameCube before we ever do one for ps2. We’ve grown fond of the GameCube collecting it has really great games. We really need to make a target list of games for every console we’d like to get.
Baulders Gate Dark Alliance 1 & 2 play couch co op with a buddy 🔥🔥🔥 Dragon Quest 8 🔥🔥🔥 Dynasty Warriors 4 couch co op🔥🔥🔥 Just a few recommendations such a great library of games.
I see the North American collection is 1,796 that’s a lot of games to go after and lots of trades or sales at conventions you’ll have to do. Good luck at that. I don’t see me doing a complete collection of any games maybe get as many as I can on the master system which I got 59 for I believe of 114.
This was a very fun video to watch. I don't have a PS2, but if I did, I would have a lot of fun collecting for it. Generally though, I like to collect from the retro consoles that I myself have grown up with, and not just the games I grew up with, but with the games I have never played before as well. I had an OG Xbox instead of the PS2, so I missed on the PS2, but I really do love the OG Xbox, and I now have a new OG Xbox as my Crystal is dead, I think the clock capacitor leaked ages ago, and I do have fun collecting for that console, but I originally had a PS1, I prefer to collect Xbox games, I don't have a PS1 any more anyway. Hmm.. maybe one day I will get a PS2 and start collecting PS1 and PS2 games for it, but for now I am enjoying getting more games for my Xbox. I just have to be aware that there is a certain amount of space I have for all the games and consoles, LOL, collecting problems.
You really do want to start a playstation two collection At the very least most of the games on the PS2 are very cheap Well some of them can be very expensive and very hard to find and very rare.
Congratulations on starting the PS2 collection. Be warned though, as it is a MASSIVE library of games to go through for that system. I myself am not quite sure how many games there are for the PS2.
I wish I could get into ps2. I just don’t care about it. I was and am a GameCube guy and skipped the ps2. I got into ps3 and love it but it’s about only PlayStation console I care about. Good luck in your collection though
I love games too much to limit myself to just 1 or a few consoles. I just can't do it. I want to experience some of the incredible gaming experiences the PS2 has to offer
@@ogre706 I am still not understanding though. If you have the money, the space and are an adult, I don't see an issue with trying to collect a new set for a console, I personally feel it is not for me to say who should and shouldn't collect things and what things they specifically can and can't collect. If people can have many whole sets and libraries of books, music, DVD's/Blu-Rays and other things in their house, I don't see a problem with games being a thing some people collect either. Not my business to say what is and isn't good to do, but, collecting for anything, to me, isn't wrong, it is a positive. I am a collector too. I collect a few different things, figures, ball jointed dolls, games, and comics/manga. I see no problem with this, if I wanna live with these collections around me, that is OK, it makes me happy to be able to collect and see them, be able to play with them, and preserve the items. It really is no one's business what I collect and do with my money either. To me, personally, awareness while collecting is a very good thing, it means you are trying to preserve the items, in a way. It means, these things are not forgotten, and are loved, cherished and well looked after. It keeps the things and the memorabilia of it, alive. Also, lest we forget, not all games are available digitally, some you can only play physically, a good example is "Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy", that game has a lot of history and now it is only found in physical (which, BTW, Psi Ops is available for the PS2 and Xbox, Windows too, and I highly recommend it, keep a look out for it, it is a great game). Another good example is the Ninja Gaiden Xbox games, Team Ninja lost the source code for those Xbox classics, so now, the only way you can get them and play them legally and officially, is buying the old physical Xbox games. There are many other examples too. I feel, collecting retro games and merch is making a statement of not forgetting, it is a form of preserving parts of the history of gaming. It isn't preserving the game itself, but it's physical releases and items, which are still important. All who collect retro games with awareness, are basically doing the job of a museum, in a way, just a very small museum, preserving physical items from the past, and to me, that is a good thing. Collecting with awareness of what you are collecting, is keeping the items safe and preserving a piece of history. I collect with awareness, and I see nothing wrong with wanting to keep pieces of gaming history. If someone has the money and space, who is an adult, it is none of my or anyone else's business what they do or don't do with their own money, they are free to do with it what they like. There is a line between collecting, and hoarding. I feel, when it is dominating your house and life, where you have no room in your house and things become unmanageable, when the items become a sort of negative for you, and when it makes your mental health decline, that is when it is a hoarding problem, so in that sense, it is easy to tell the difference. Collectors are not hoarders, and hoarders are not collectors, so really, there is nothing wrong with collecting if that is the case. Sorry for the long comment. The TLDR, is that being a collector of retro games, is a good thing, not a bad thing.
Godspeed on the ps2 journey brave hunter Wolf 🫡
Thanks dude!!
YEARS of RUclips game hunting to come. The wall you put these games on will look awesome.
Thats the hope! To have a new goal to weave through the videos as the GameCube Collection comes to an end

Holy moly matt. There are almost 1800 games in the North America set.
Yup haha I'm excited
I can confirm I have not yet watched a single episode of any of the anime I bought from you. Obviously, money well spent.
Buying anime we don't watch and videogames we don't play... it's the good life.
Haha nice

Over 4,000 PS2 games released worldwide, good luck man you’re gonna need it. 😨
