F7U is top tier U.S.A. multirole fighter in WOWP. It combined with excellent top speed, powerful ground attack and good air combat ability.
Besides XP-44, I think F7U is another best plane to get Gabreski Medal (destroy 10 air targets and 7 ground group targets in single sortie).
The first reason is F7U equipped with 4 powerful bombs (reload time: 120 seconds). It can easily destroy AA gun site with single bomb. In normally, you can do 2~3 round bomb dropping in a single battle. So it is not too hard to get 7 ground group target kills.
The second reason is F7U equipped with 4 x 20 mm guns. It is very accurate and easy to use. After you get F7U specialist, I suggest equipped 'Reinforced Bolt Carriers' to extend burst length to resolve overheat problem. It will make easier to get 10 air target kills.
The third reason is F7U has excellent top speed ability (could reach 1200 kph). You can fly it like a heavy fighter, using BZ tactic to against or escape from light-fighters. It makes F7U has more survive chance than other other multirole-fighters.
And last one reason T10 battle is fewer people to participate, it means lower risk to be focused by enemy. You will have more chance to fulfill Gabreski Medal criteria in single sortie... :D
The weakness of F7U is poor maneuverability, easy damaged engine, and boost duration is not too long. So F7U will be weak when fly in low speed. I suggest avoid reduce speed to dog-fight, and shoot target in distance will be more safe.
You need to go through long painful US tech line to get F7U, but I think it is worth.

The machine guns make the same weird sound for all planes and tiers, the radio operator is annoying, the music is terrible and the gameplay is also the same, chasing dots.

@@tpark2316 Yep, I played both of them. And WoP is much funnier and faster. In Thunder u have to spend a lot of time on taking off and getting to the action.
