2:39 Same on Ikarbus IK-103, IK-201 and IK-206 and Solaris Urbino 18 while it's my first time to open doors on this vehicles. Slow opening and closing doors.
Haha This is omsi in a nutshell ! But the problem with the street lite starting in a place like that at 2:34 is that the systems are so realistic not enough air pressure meaning the doors wont open not enough air pressure meaning you can't bloody move the bus so just as you get it started and rev the shit out of it to build the air pressure up you get crashed in to this is why you never and I MEAN NEVER Use collisions in omsi they just serve no purpose at all because they don't work in any manner ! If Aerosoft decided to stop using omsi 2 as a cash cow and redesigned the simulator it would make this simulator such a betting thing to use as well as make the darn thing more stable !
So true. Ah so that why the doors wouldn't open 🤣, had a feeling it was something to do with the air pressure. Yeah, ai in omsi 2 is just atrocious without collisions on let alone with them on. I think it is mad that omsi 2 has never gone below 33% discount given how old it is. Anyhow, Aerosoft seem to be hoping the Bus will take over omsi 2, we shall see how that fares.
From what I have been told, OMSI can't be rebuilt by Aerosoft or any subcontractor as the source code is with a developing team which no longer exist in their original form and the current owners don't want to work with anyone else. LOTUS was supposed to be the next gen of OMSI but in 64 bit and much more stable but the project crashed. Maybe if someone raised enough money they could put a generous offer to purchase the source code off the current owners and continue development, although there is only so much any developer would be willing to pay for it due to the niche audience OMSI has. Perhaps this is why Aerosoft are reluctant to discount it as they want to keep it's market value up to make obtaining the source code more worthwhile. I don't think The Bus will ever be as successful as it isn't as moddable as OMSI ever was. Anyone can easily go in to the OMSI files, open a few texture files and repaint the bus, or maybe give all the AI characters moustaches. Or if you really want, edit the sound files so the AI says "does this bus go to the moon, I want to meet the clangers" when they board. Perhaps even change the horn on the bus to an old mechanical klaxon, or even a fart sound if you really want. It is not as easy to so stuff like that with a lot of modern software as it is all encrypted. I have also found from my experience with The Bus, the sounds are below standard. Also every time I try to move the camera, the control system changes the control mode of the bus to mouse control instead of steering wheel which is the most annoying thing ever.
Highly doubt anyone would buy omsi 2's source code, at this stage game is simply too old, with base engine dating to 2007. That being said pretty sure omsi 2 is its best seller. Aersoft don't do high discounts in general not just for omsi 2. Rarely anything goes below 30% except for some titles that underperformed. The Bus is certainly no omsi 2, but it seems to come closer than other sims. Its route creating tool is very straightforward and much quicker than omsi 2s. Bus World too might be promising, but Kismish games don't seem to make their fames very moddable.
@@TransportEnthusiast I did see a Russian bus simulator in development, I can't remember the name or if it is Bus World but it was incredibly realistic and had some really cool Soviet trolleybuses (the kind that would run forever as long as there is power to the trolley poles). I will certainly be after that when it comes out. I don't think the source code is too outdated since it was used to build Lotus, I have considered buying Lotus but the content is very small compared with other games like TSW2 that have a whole load of stuff that has come out in the little time it has existed. I don't think the age of the source code would be to much of an issue as long as the end product is up to date. I think Microsoft have used the same source code for a long time, although I don't know for sure. I don't know much about coding since I was never taught about it in school due to it being a regular level of school and it was not in the curriculum, thus I don't have the foundation to do any courses on it and therefore will never be able to do it.
Yah probs Bus World, it is a Soviet bus sim based off Chernobyl although has some Asian content too. True, that is why Lotus has some of the same error messages as omsi 2. Dk much about coding myself, but do know eventually software eventually gets outdated, especially if it has not been updated in years like omsi 2. Other problem is most devs now prefer to use easy engines and not do all the coding themselves. Omsi initially started as a college project. Although not sure if omsi 2 likewise was one.
@@TransportEnthusiast At least OMSI has better sounds than even anything currently on the market 10 years later. It is also a lot more self-diagnosable with the log file than anything else, especially compared to another simulator where I open a support thread about crashing under certain circumstances and they immediately reply denying the problem exists and immediately close the thread as if it was some lame conspiracy theory. Every support ticket about the issue also seems to have also randomly closed as well.
@@FM60260 True, logfile is useful although sometimes one has to navigate the german english mix, as for some reason not everything is translated. Some of the new sims to seem to be prone to ue4 errors from time to time, which seem to be mainly rectifiable on devs end. Omsi 2's main success is that it has modding tools and one can make a bus etc. Too many devs are focused on locking mod tools out so expansions are only payware, eventhough more sales would be generated if game had strong modding base.

Very annoyong isn't it lol
Hmm, now I understand why almost every bus you drive back is broken lol
Exposed 😂😂. It is good for making funny moments like this lol.
I love these videos
Haha, they are the flagship videos of the channel lol.
These are mucky buses that make a mess
6:30 no one gonna talk about the car who just passed through the other car
I like air
Right
I absolutely love the e200mmc bluestar livery. I work in southampton and always see them
Nice, it is a fine livery.
Noice
0:04 😮
😂😂🕺, a first for Omsi 2.
This driving is so unviable! the police can catch these buses!
This is so funny funny moments like oh my god it makes me laugh!
Rt
Not sure how to take that lol
The bus
flips then gone down on the whole world so magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omsi 2
5:08 is that a bus the middle of nowhere at the top right corner
Yep, for some reason Smarden is full of static buses placed in random areas
As we know, a chevron is supposed to be empty in a traffic, so obviously AI won't do that.
Omsi 2 is an exception
Undertaker piano theme 😂😂😂😂😂with a few other songs
Don't remember using something woth that name 😅, all of the music is from YT audio library
@@TransportEnthusiast of course not because it would be copyright infringement intended that's why it's in audio library so it can be copyright free
Yeah exactly. Well spotted so, ngl can't remember the names of the music used
shouldve included a clip from my vid of the eclipse going under the map
Haha, should have this was made in August lol
@@TransportEnthusiast oh

what is the map and the bus at the start?
For which part, as the compilation features many. Thumbnail is Smarden and e400R
Are you thinking about you are so crazy buses? and you can act like crazy buses all day!

2:31 it's an Enviro 600 MMC
Good one 🤣
