Yeah a lot depends on if she gets injured this season. If she does, she will likely stay in college another year. If not, I think she’s ready to go pro. She is going to be 24 next October. That is too old for a college student unless they are post grad going for her Masters or Doctorate and she is not that I know of.

I think the combination of covid, multiple injuries, the desire to play with her close friend Azzi who has also been injured, and a desire to win a championship, plus the minimal extra income from going to the wnba led her to stay this year. My guess is she will leave after this year as well but I don't get the subtle shaming of her if she decided to stay. In the W you have much bigger 30 year olds bullying 21 years olds, so a smaller 24 year old playing with 18 years olds doesnt seem that crazy to me. Plus Paige's faith and relationship with God seems significant in her life and my guess is that plays a big role in her decisions based on other interviews I have seen. In my humble opinion, this year’s NCAA Women’s Basketball Season is up for grabs! Gino and UConn have their work cut out for them if they want to win the National championship because there is more parity in the game than ever before.
For example, who would have thought that S Carolina would have lost to UCLA by as many points as they did. Granted, it’s early in the season and if you’re going to lose a game this is the time to do it when the games don’t mean as much in the national rankings.
I’m positive Coach Stalely will have her squad mentally prepared for their next game! She is a very good coach and knows how to motivate her team so they focus on playing one game at a time - which is why she plays these tough games at the beginning of the season to mentally and physically prepare her players for their tough conference season, as well as the conference tournament and NCAA Tournament games & hopefully the national championship game!
I am looking for S Carolina to not make it to the NCAA championship game this year. Instead hoping for one of several SEC or ACC teams as well as my home state favorites - the University of Iowa and my Alma Mater Iowa State University from the Big 12 conference - to make a lot of noise in their conferences and hopefully in the NCAA tournament!

She’ll move on. She already hangs around the WNBA players and goes to the games. Geno has coached many WNBA players and they all stick together because they came from UConn’s program. However, the dynasty that UConn once had is no more. There are more great players across the country and more outstanding programs as well. Paige should also consider her longevity as a player. She’s had injuries that took away part of her college career. Is she injury prone?

Good Evening, Adrienne. You make excellent points for your Paige prediction and if this was a decade ago I’d 100% agree with your assessment. Might I suggest that NIL money for college stars changes the equation these days, especially when one considers the relatively low rookie salary in the WNBA. I’d be curious to know how much NIL money Paige is currently receiving. If it is considerably more than she can make in the W and you add that consideration on top of what appears to be a lukewarm reaction to playing in Dallas, it might make perfect sense to stay another year. Just my two cents. Cheers!

Let's say that, hypothetically, Paige doesn't want to play for Dallas but would love to be in LA. I doubt that this could be done. The shining precedent for something like this was the famous Eli Manning draft situation. He was drafted by the SD Chargers with the first pick even though he made it clear that he didn't want to play for them. So a deal was made with the Giants taking Philip Rivers with the 4th pick and then the teams traded them for each other. it worked out because each team got its franchise QB. That wouldn't be the case in Paige's situation. What could LA possibly offer Kurt Miller of equal value to give up her up? Nothing really so, Paige, welcome to Dallas.
