Greetings! I woke up this morning to a bunch of messages about my giveaway breaking GGG's ToS. I looked into it and determined that it is not worth the risk. I am very saddened as I hoped to not only give away the Minion Witch Infernalist Set, but a set for every ascendancy. I am very sorry to anyone that was excited about the prospect of winning. It is my bad for not looking into it before. I assumed it was fine because I have seen countless other giveaways from content creators and streamers alike. The difference was they were not giving something that effected power in game. Sorry guys! RIP

Good morning :D Thats unfortunate! Your video came up in my recommended feed and I decided to click it. And boy did I get excited when you mentioned the class you wanted to do a giveaway for. I am playing POE for the first time, and I am playing Minion Witch :D I just reached "endgame" and am now trying to unlock the 1 spirit / 25 life thing! But its quite challenging :) If you cant give away the gear, would you be willing to sell it?
I mean you can tell us what you are going to sell it for... And we can "snipe" it off of you. That's how empyrian did it. He sold headhunters and Magebloods for 7 transmutes or 9 alchemy orbs 😂😂 something ridiculous nobody would normally have a live search going for.

I want to see you succeed with content. please dont give away the gear. its against TOS. im 1 minute into the video and immediately was like omg dont do it or you will get banned! just keep up the good content and explain the gear pieces rather then giving them away for clicks :). nice content i look forward to more in the future

Normally I find it annoying as hell when content creators ask for Likes and Subs.. Not in this case, cause you're actually in need of them.. Just remember, when your channel is established and you have a good audience, don't ask.. Instead, be clever and just have it poke it's head out somewhere in your video or something. I just can't handle the "Like and Subscribe" plug anymore. It's become like nails on a chalk board for me.. Almost 20 years of hearing it in every video will do that I guess.. But hey, I liked and Subscribed because this was a very informative video and you did a pretty decent job at explaining your thought process.
Unfortunately, the price checking is.. just bad. And that's not fault of your own, but it isn't in-depth enough. Those boots were never going to sell for the prices you were seeing. You were searching for minimums, and the ones on the market were probably ALL tier 7-8+, which is why they were listed at such a high price. That, and they likely had Life on them as well. Or something else more useful, potentially even another resistance around tier 7-8.
I agree with you. When you area dealing with a higher value item you should always be using the trade site to see the comparable items. However, I did lower the ranges DRAMTAICALLY to see what else would pop up, and then typically price it still lower than the items that pop up only after lowering the range. Your point still stands but for the sake of brevity, the quick price check was the way to go. Hope you enjoyed the video. Happy New Year !
@ I definitely enjoyed it. Absolutely no hate towards you at all. What I mean though.. is that lowering the minimum of the stat range only will never show accurate prices because it will always include better tiered items above yours. That’s what leads to a lot of things being listed for way more than they’re worth and never selling, unfortunately
The becasue the relivtive price is wrong right now, since GGG is on break they havent updated the cost of divines so the trade site values them way too low compared to ex.
Yeah If you wanna do a check on your pricecheck, it´s allways better to open up the site, an enter max values as well, to prevent the better ones diluting the results

Good video. Only thing I have to add is that there is one niche case you don't want movespeed and the is with the queen of the forest chest armor. In that case though it would be pure evasion base and not ES.
Sorry to hear about that. I got some bad news this morning... Despite that I am still in good spirits. My suggestion would be to save your currency and use it on the trade site to purchase gear upgrades rather then hoping to drop something or craft an upgrade at your stage. Save the crafting for a bit later because it takes some investment. I will be making a video on mastering the trade site to upgrade your gear. Stay tunes

Be careful with overwolf software. The one we had in PoE 1 was very fishy. A friend of mine used it and it was consuming a lot of resources that it shouldn't... Usually it means that it might be using your computer to mine crypto.

Nice video, you even showed the current flaw with price checking. The trade site still way under values divines since it hasnt been updated since GGG went on break. If you know the item is not worth divines, you need to check the otehr ex values.

However, for more accurate pricing, especially for higher-value items, I recommend going to the trade site directly. That’s how I priced the boots I crafted in this video and sold them for 6 divine orbs-it’s worth taking the extra time to get the best value! I'm openly curious to see how many *actually* sell.. a before and after video would help get that point over the line. its one thing to theorycraft the sales.. its another to see them. I have a lot of *potential* div items up for sale but they just dont sell even though price comps are much higher.. I dont think there are as many div buyers as people believe there to be.

I picked them all up while mapping. You can buy white ilvl 82 of this boot base for ~5 exalt or cheaper if you are patient. I pretty regularly sell them for 7ex if you find any and just want to unload them. Collect every Rattling Scepter you find. Craft them up with transmute/aug if you don't hit spirit or +to minion skills throw it away or save for reforging bench. Just wanted to give you a bit of a signal boost, because this kind of content is very useful for new players and you explained it in a very digestable way. And yeah, afaik, this kind of giveaway is considered RMT or something. You can't trade between leagues either. GGG does a good job of guarding the integrity of the game. Most of the time anyway.

@Demonwisp - Farming at T14-T16 maps can definitely be lucrative, but it all comes down to how juiced your maps are. I focus on strategies like using towers with precursor tablets, running corrupted maps I have thrown a Vaal on, and instilling them with delirium to maximize drops. Rarity on gear also plays a huge role in boosting your loot. PSA: I’m planning to make a video soon on how to juice maps properly on the atlas-stay tuned for that! I’m a noob at POE but you are not pricing this correctly. You are pricing these items based on other items that have “at-least” the mods you are highlighting. In addition they most likely have the mods you were also hoping to roll.

Greetings! I woke up this morning to a bunch of messages about my giveaway breaking GGG's ToS. I looked into it and determined that it is not worth the risk. I am very saddened as I hoped to not only give away the Minion Witch Infernalist Set, but a set for every ascendancy. I am very sorry to anyone that was excited about the prospect of winning.
It is my bad for not looking into it before. I assumed it was fine because I have seen countless other giveaways from content creators and streamers alike. The difference was they were not giving something that effected power in game.

I am playing POE for the first time, and I am playing Minion Witch :D I just reached "endgame" and am now trying to unlock the 1 spirit / 25 life thing! But its quite challenging :) If you cant give away the gear, would you be willing to sell it?
I mean you can tell us what you are going to sell it for... And we can "snipe" it off of you. That's how empyrian did it. He sold headhunters and Magebloods for 7 transmutes or 9 alchemy orbs 😂😂 something ridiculous nobody would normally have a live search going for.

Normally I find it annoying as hell when content creators ask for Likes and Subs.. Not in this case, cause you're actually in need of them.. Just remember, when your channel is established and you have a good audience, don't ask.. Instead, be clever and just have it poke it's head out somewhere in your video or something. I just can't handle the "Like and Subscribe" plug anymore. It's become like nails on a chalk board for me.. Almost 20 years of hearing it in every video will do that I guess.. But hey, I liked and Subscribed because this was a very informative video and you did a pretty decent job at explaining your thought process.

Cool video, but idk bout that pricing. Those are last pair of boots prices.
Unfortunately, the price checking is.. just bad. And that's not fault of your own, but it isn't in-depth enough. Those boots were never going to sell for the prices you were seeing. You were searching for minimums, and the ones on the market were probably ALL tier 7-8+, which is why they were listed at such a high price. That, and they likely had Life on them as well. Or something else more useful, potentially even another resistance around tier 7-8.
I agree with you. When you area dealing with a higher value item you should always be using the trade site to see the comparable items. However, I did lower the ranges DRAMTAICALLY to see what else would pop up, and then typically price it still lower than the items that pop up only after lowering the range. Your point still stands but for the sake of brevity, the quick price check was the way to go.

@ I definitely enjoyed it. Absolutely no hate towards you at all. What I mean though.. is that lowering the minimum of the stat range only will never show accurate prices because it will always include better tiered items above yours. That’s what leads to a lot of things being listed for way more than they’re worth and never selling, unfortunately
The becasue the relivtive price is wrong right now, since GGG is on break they havent updated the cost of divines so the trade site values them way too low compared to ex.
Yeah If you wanna do a check on your pricecheck, it´s allways better to open up the site, an enter max values as well, to prevent the better ones diluting the results

Leveling gear would definitely motivate me to play witch! Trying to get my ranger build going but struggling to get gear and currency
Sorry to hear about that. I got some bad news this morning... Despite that I am still in good spirits. My suggestion would be to save your currency and use it on the trade site to purchase gear upgrades rather then hoping to drop something or craft an upgrade at your stage. Save the crafting for a bit later because it takes some investment.

Be careful with overwolf software. The one we had in PoE 1 was very fishy. A friend of mine used it and it was consuming a lot of resources that it shouldn't... Usually it means that it might be using your computer to mine crypto.

Nice video, you even showed the current flaw with price checking. The trade site still way under values divines since it hasnt been updated since GGG went on break. If you know the item is not worth divines, you need to check the otehr ex values.

However, for more accurate pricing, especially for higher-value items, I recommend going to the trade site directly. That’s how I priced the boots I crafted in this video and sold them for 6 divine orbs-it’s worth taking the extra time to get the best value!

I'm openly curious to see how many *actually* sell.. a before and after video would help get that point over the line. its one thing to theorycraft the sales.. its another to see them. I have a lot of *potential* div items up for sale but they just dont sell even though price comps are much higher..
I dont think there are as many div buyers as people believe there to be.
I can do some updates. I tend to discounts items pretty fast to keep them moving. Just moved the boots down to 12divs

On the low low, I might still pick someone and "trade" them the set for 1ex. The official word is the giveaway is cancelled. I can't do a giveaway like this it is against GGG's ToS. So maybe I "trade" the set away. Either way I can't do more like this which is sad, because that is what I was planning.

I picked them all up while mapping. You can buy white ilvl 82 of this boot base for ~5 exalt or cheaper if you are patient. I pretty regularly sell them for 7ex if you find any and just want to unload them.

There are various ways you can do this. First party with the person. Then:
Right click their name in chat and select hideout
OR
Right click their profile image in upper left and select travel to hideout
OR
You can press the blue swirly looking thing (portal) on their profile image in upper left to travel to where they currently are

Any advise on getting GG sceptre for minion builds?
Collect every Rattling Scepter you find. Craft them up with transmute/aug if you don't hit spirit or +to minion skills throw it away or save for reforging bench. When you hit one of those, continue the craft using your own discretion.

And yeah, afaik, this kind of giveaway is considered RMT or something. You can't trade between leagues either. GGG does a good job of guarding the integrity of the game. Most of the time anyway.

damn, did you always farm at t14-15 to get that much exalt/essense? I seriously keep getting lack of it even i always wander t14-t15
@Demonwisp - Farming at T14-T16 maps can definitely be lucrative, but it all comes down to how juiced your maps are. I focus on strategies like using towers with precursor tablets, running corrupted maps I have thrown a Vaal on, and instilling them with delirium to maximize drops. Rarity on gear also plays a huge role in boosting your loot.

@redflag003 - I use PoE Overlay II on Overwolf for quick price checks-it’s super handy! That said, I always recommend going to the trade site for accurate pricing, as that’s how I sold the boots from this video for 6 divine orbs.

Maybe you can answer this one for me, when I go on poe2db, and I go to body armors, I can't find the data for what tiers they can roll.
On poe2db first hover over "modifiers" on the top of the page and select modifiers. Then select the type of body Armour you are wishing to look at.

I’m a noob at POE but you are not pricing this correctly. You are pricing these items based on other items that have “at-least” the mods you are highlighting. In addition they most likely have the mods you were also hoping to roll.
