How to Prune Indeterminate and Determinate Tomatoes for Healthy Yields || Black Gumbo

- In this video I’ll show you the difference between determinate and indeterminate tomato plants and how to prune them for maximum growth, health and high yields. If you don’t prune, your tomatoes will grow, but will sprawl, become difficult to manage, and will invite diseases and pests. Pruning promotes earlier and healthier harvests and tidy plants that are easier to care for. I’ll speak about plant anatomy, specifically stems, suckers and leafing branches and will show you how easy it is to care for a young plant so that it will become a prosperous and enjoyable project.
