    ASU only scored and got its yards of offense on gadget plays. Their offense was completely shut down until 6 minutes left in the game.

      2 OTs inflated the 38 points. They couldn’t score against ASU hence the reason ASU was able to come back

      we just love all the comments from bucky fans. They are such a wealth of knowledge. Please stick to orgasming on your playoff win against the greatest TN defense ever (that is an actual comment one of your demented brothers made 😂)
      Your fanbase is full of t-shirt fans who invade opposing teams sites and talk nonsense. Then best example is the refusal to acknowledge that your program has fallen to big brother up north. And it’s always an excuse “oh they cheat” “Day had a bad game plan” etc etc. No Bucky, Michigan flat out beats you.
      If I was riding high on wins against the greatest defenses ever, I’d be on my own board shuckin’ n jivin’ with my own fans. Nope. Instead you’re talking shit like a 14yo teenage boy who just learned what a vagina is 😂
      We aren’t your rival. We don’t care that you’ll be doing the horns down at the game bc you’re too dumb to have your own sign. We do hope that you wear deodorant and brush your teeth, so please try to do that

      @Buckeye0103 so the points in OT count for other teams but not Texas? They literally said Texas defense struggled because they gave up 31 points 🤣 there was no ot in the Clemson game. Hey if a team that can't score scores 38 plus points in 2 playoff games just makes you think. Asu found out they can score really really fast.

    Saying you need the arch discussion is just fully clicks at this point. The running game needs to be addressed, not the qb. Quinn played his ass off. Saying anything different is just trying to fit a narrative. It’s a stubborn take that makes it seem that you didn’t watch the game at all.

    The Texas pass rush and secondary is going to be a tough match up for Ohio State who has been relying on the pass attack to dominate Oregon and Tennessee. Winning the turnover battle could be the key here. However, I don't think Texas has seen a receiving group nearly as talented as what they've got cooking in Columbus. Whoever's skill players show up more in this game takes it!

    • @uthtown
      @uthtown 18 дней назад +4

      OSU has been living off the big plays in the playoffs. Texas simply doesn’t allow those. The only time that occurs is late in a game when the opposing team is desperate.
      Oregon gave up 12+ plays of 30+ yards to PSU. Saban called it right, they were gonna get blown out by OSU.
      I love that the OSU fans keep referring to the TN and UO defenses as a reference point. Not even in the same league.
      Get to Howard and it’s a long day for bucky

      @Myn12349 that great Texas defense that ASU put 500 yds on? They haven't faced a passing attack like OSU because there are no passing attacks like OSU! Jeremiah Smith is a once in a generation player who could win the heisman. He's unguardable.The d-lines are equally talented, but OSU just dominated 2 of the best d-lines in the country. Texas doesn't have any advantages over OSU, while the Buckeyes are better than Texas in some areas. The Buckeyes are on a rampage and just demolished 2 of the best teams in the country. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a blowout.

    This is another one of those games Ewers will need to show up and prove he belongs in the NFL. If not he will always be remembered as a game manager who just could not get it done when it matters the most. Yes he had 2 good throws yesterday. Literally the best plays of the entire season. However that will not get you where you want to go. Need more, lots more. I would love to see the horns show up and ball out. However if the last 7 games tells us anything........

      @andrewcraft8733 17 дней назад

      @HaroldSarate, not recency bias they're just finally playing up to their potential. They have the best roster in college football, and they're on a rampage just demolishing 2 of the best teams in the country. Texas just squeaked by an average team with one great player. And rivalry games are different. I've been a part of the OSU MICHIGAN rivalry for decades. These games are not always about talent but more emotional and mental. Sometimes, a weaker Auburn team beats a superior Alabama team. But OSU is past that game they're on a mission and playing with a higher level of confidence and violence than any team left in the playoffs.

  • @Sasquatch-n6y
    @Sasquatch-n6y 18 дней назад

    Texas defense was on the field throughout most of the second half. When the offense scores quick or can’t stay on the field the defense will get wore down and complacent. Texas offensive line isn’t at 100% and running backs aren’t consistent. Hookem but, Ohio State will play Notre Dame for the title. SEC is still the toughest conference in the country top to bottom no matter what others would say.

  • @theanthonyv
    @theanthonyv 17 дней назад

    All season on the Longhorn TV broadcasts (mostly on ESPN), TX’s O line has been referred to as an elite veteran unit. I’ve watched every snap of this team, and I’ve seen more mediocre O line play than I can fathom. Yes, there have been a few injuries. But the ridiculous number of false-start penalties, consistently absent running game, and general inability to block against the better D lines have been very problematic. Ewers is going to be battling for his life against the OSU defense. And we all know how it goes when he’s under pressure. That said, Sark can’t suddenly throw Arch into the mix in the CFP semis against a great defensive unit. Not gonna happen.

    I think if Texas plays balanced this will be a good game. OSU faced a similar style defense and struggled in Michigan. OSU is on fire rn too. Playing on all cylinders with a lot of upper classmen on that line. If Texas keeps that defense on the field for a normal amount of plays and time with balanced offense, this might be a game! I go back to Alabama or the Michigan game. If Texas peaks (which they haven't yet), we might have a different tone next weekend. OSU has also played 2 teams with huge breaks and jumped out to a big lead. That changes everything. At face value this looks like an uneven match up, not with talent but how both teams are playing. Texas has struggled against smaller, quicker defenses more than larger physical defenses. Here we go!

  • @Chris-zg7ty

    Everyone needs to stop expecting more than what is reasonable from Ewers. He isn't the world beater that his perfect recruitment rating would have implied. He lacks a consistent good long ball and has trouble under pressure and isn't very mobile. However, he is surgical with short to medium throws when he has time. The biggest issue Ewers has is when TX can't run the ball and/or the Oline breaks down. So the answer is to run the ball better even if it means quick short throws as an extension of the run. That's on Sark IMO.
