- In this video I visit Death Valley National Park and hike Telescope peak, walk the sand dunes, scramble slot canyons, visit the salt flats, and drive through the scenic mountains. This is a great place to visit for the 4th of July weekend. There are lots of hiking opportunities. The views are amazing throughout the park. Some places can be viewed directly from your vehicle : Badwater Basin, Artists Drive, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Dantes View, Ubehebe Crater, Charcoal Kilns, Father Crowley Vista Point.
I went to Death Valley with my dad in 2000, it was absolutely great. So much different types of extremes, and beautiful vistas. Even more if your trip started in California, you see snow, giant sequoias, Big Sur, Yosemite, Death Valley.. I mean... it's incredibly varied and everything feels huge. And the cities are very different from one another as well, and interesting.
Best memories of me and my dad was this two weeks trip. And we met so many cool american people. We were driving and sleeping in an automatic van, lended by super nice people that lived in a giant sequoia forest.
Death Valley is for sure the most surreal place I've ever seen. Your video is great because you show very well how extreme and varied the environment is there, it breaks records left and right without even trying. Kudos to the person behind the camera as well!
Thank you for the video, much love,
Bastien from France

Just subscribed and liked your video 👊🏻 You apparently put a lot of work into making this video and I appreciate it very much... Coincidentally, I was in Death Valley about the same time as you on a motorcycle trip ... It was not my first time in Death Valley but each time is as exciting as the first. I appreciate you letting me tag along and I'll see you in the next video 🌵
Hello Robert, I actually saw a large group of motorcyclists visiting the park while I was there. Were you part of the group that was visiting from Quebec? It must be really amazing to explore the park and take in the scenery on a motorcycle! There’s definitely so much to see and do at the park that I also look forward to visiting it again. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you so much for subscribing and watching my my video! ☺️🏔️🏜️
@@Adventure-Mom Glad I found your channel, very enjoyable to watch. Nope not from Quebec, I'm from Rhode Island, in the grand scheme not very far away. I did a solo trip 👊
Love from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada from a semi-adventure Mom to an Adventure Mom! Loved to see you visiting a national park. Why I am having a feeling that it may be quite hot down there. What is good season to visit this park? I am thinking late falls, winters and early spring.
Hello, love right back at you from Florida! It definitely gets incredibly hot at Death Valley National Park in the summer in the lower elevations. I agree that it would be best to explore and enjoy more of the park in the fall, winter, and spring months. In fact I believe spring is the most popular time to visit because of the comfortable temperature and all the blooming wildflowers usually peaking in late March to early April. I hope you can make it out there one day! Thank you so much for watching! 💐🤗🌻

You must be in tremendous shape.
Hello Richard, I love the outdoors! I do try to go on a 3 mile walk every day and a run every other day when possible. I really enjoyed exploring Death Valley. Thank you so much for watching! 🤗
Furnace creek
looks hot
lol
The valley floor was about 92-94F during the days however on my hike to telescope peak the temperatures dropped to well below freezing and it was snowing ... all in the same day. Thanks for watching!
Just be careful out there it must be a reason why it's called Death Valley
Hello Lars, I believe Death Valley does have a history of people becoming stranded and needing to be rescued. Due to the extreme heat especially in the summer months, it is very important to carry plenty of water. Thank you so much for watching! 🤗
