  • Officer Jeff Nelson became the first officer in Washington state convicted by a jury for murder for on-duty actions under the state's police accountability law.
Nelson was trying to arrest 26-year-old Jesse Sarey, who was unarmed, outside of a market for disorderly conduct in 2019. Prosecutors said he shot him in the abdomen and then fired a second shot a few seconds later in his forehead.

@@jeffreylyons1531 that would be cool if it was true. Cops get assualted all the time. If you got assualted like that you would call and an arrest and hopefully a prosecution. The cop side it’s called resisting arrest and those charges get plea bargained right away. If I’m a cop and I’m fighting someone younger and stronger and I think I could lose my weapon I’m ending it. I’ll take my chances in court. Google Richard Herzog. Nice local story about a cop that got his ass kicked by a naked Blackman on a busy roadway in broad daylight. The Blackman got his weapon then took 4 bullets in the brain. That happened in Renton. If he shoots the unarmed Blackman he would be a killer too. Instead he was killed. Shit happens when you fight. This doesn't make any sense!
Why did this man have to fight for justice for his brother?
When the Law should have stepped in and did it for him!
This should be done throughout the United States.
When a Policeman is sworn in as a Police Officer, they take an oath to Protect and Serve the citizens of that County, City and State!
And it always end with "SO HELP ME GOD"
If you're EVIL, you might as well forget about the "SO HELP ME GOD"!
God does not help EVIL, CORRUPT, LYING people, that's for damn sure!
Why don't "THE POLICE" know this?
    Are they being trained properly?
Are they given the tools they need to do their job properly?
It's just like any other job.
If you're a plumber and you don't have the proper tools to perform the job you're task with, how are you gonna complete that job you were sent to do?
You're not, you're not only gonna fail at the job, you're gonna make things worse if you try to do the job without the proper tools in the first place!
Therefore causing the person who hired you anguish!
Now this person has to call someone else to redo the job that someone without the proper tools tried to do and made matters worse!
Do you see what I'm getting at?
If these Officer's are given the proper tools to do the job they are asked to do, then there will be none of this shady business and unnecessary killings going on!
If you ask me, it starts at the TOP!
Maybe the person who is in charge is unqualified to be in that position!
Maybe the person who is in charge doesn't have the proper tools to do the job he's asked to do!
That's what it look like with ALL of these unnecessary killings by Police Officer's that are happening today!
It's not just Police Officer's, it's ANYONE who doesn't have the proper tools to do the job they were hired to do, will fail!
    This is not hearsay.
    It's a FACT.
I'm not trying to preach to ya.
I'm telling you what God loves and that's the truth.

I'm not confident he'll receive an adequate sentence for his crimes, but, we'll see once we see the sentencing.

This is a start. Cops need to lose their qualified immunity. They can get away with breaking the law and not be held accountable because of qualified immunity. QI means that if a cop breaks the law and is taken to court even if he/she is found guilty they don't have to pay the fine or judgement. The government has to pay because of QI. Why should cops get a benefit like that if the public doesn't. QI was not enabled by congress so the public didn't have a say in it. QI was dreamed up in a court of law. for the benefit of cops. That makes it illegal.

The law works, unless you're not a cop, then you just walk out of jail free to commit more crimes.
    Upside down clown world.
